around 8.30pm today, roughly 5 coins, bc,doge, ltc, drk, clk were all dumped, then btc was dumped for usd. What we have is a whale or whale group cashing out..around 2000+ btc.

some serious dumping of most alts on btce , just now ppc, nmc, ltc and btc dumped at the same time aswell as a few coins on other exchanges.
drk is spared because whales got out ages ago and tried to get us to dump with them. We held because we didnt want to play their silly games and hoddled for a MN.
i hear foolio hasnt been around for a week.

Foolio would be koolio of BTCE.  Moderator who was one of the only ones on BTCE not to bash dark during the rise.  Yeah, these major alt dumps, alongside btc are interesting for sure.

While the market sleeps,

Late January, I stood on a field overlooking my daily charges, children roaming to and fro.  I teach.  My assistant wandered by and asked me how my coins were doing in his friendly way.  There was one that I had just found that appealed to me.  We talked about darkcoin and the possibilities.  It wasn't until a few days later that I bought from Poloniex and held my first dark, I had missed out on the vertcoin pump, but I didn't understand really why something that appealed to miners and not end-users was soaring so high.  I held dark, traded some every time it hit resistance at .002 and benefited from the c-cex dumper who kindly came to spread his wares on Polo.  I felt more at ease holding dark than btc, so I stopped trading.  It held it's value for 2 months, boring many, and yet I was sure that it didn't matter, something would come of this.
April, murmurs in the market.  The move upwards was startling.  I was sure that Dark belonged in the top 5 by market cap and the market came around to this view.  I was restless, didn't sleep well because this rather small investment was now worth more than half my yearly salary.  I was prudent, father of 3 young kids, so I sold out half my position, cleared debt, repaid savings of my initial crypto investment.
The market has been relentless with the noise.  A new anom solution daily, thankfully it is slowing down now.  I understand the desire to capture the magic of Dark's early rise.   I appreciate the hard work of everyone involved in this project.  Something the anom guru said recently caught my eye, from the mint himself, Darkcoin may surprise us because Evan is a doer instead of a talker.  Thank you Dev for working so hard, it is obvious that you have been relentless in your pursuit.
Time is all mine,  I am excited for the days and years to come.  Long Dark and proud.

sorry m8 but he was the one who banned internetape from promoting drk telling him to take away his instamine coin. Then misleading all btce users after the fork when drk was at its peak. He didnt like the fact someone dumped 70 btc worth of drk on him at 0.027 Grin so began the fud campaign

Don't kid yourself, he got out and dumped > 10K DRKs around 0.018 and made 4x BTC of his investment. That got him addicted to pumping and dumping several anon wannabe coins and brought MoosaNYC, Bob and other Litecoin holders to do the same.

Fucking cancers of crypto.

And LTC has flipped the bird to you guys

I've been trying to get in touch with magnet, another LTC multi millionaire with a farm that makes my setup look like a rasberry pi CPU miner, no response...

LTC dying is going to send massive ripples throughout the system.  I honestly feel for those that are going to go under and they haven't discovered DRK yet.

The new generation have arrived and they brought their own currency...

If the dumpage and fear spreads it could also affect DRK... who knows maybe it is already, in other conditions we might be >.01 in advance of RC4 at this point.

This is all a necessary form of financial natural selection. The strong will survive; darkcoin has many evolutionary advantages supporting it. It may be a few tough days or weeks right here but when we come out on the other side, things will look much brighter as we wipe our eyes and the sun shines again... on the DRK side!

i doubt it will effect drk much , to many coins in nodes is what prevented the twitter whale anti drk fud campagin. i think fud will calm down here big time and people will notice on charts today blood everywhere except drk ;-)

hahaha! Not to offend anyone, but its absolutely true... Bitcoin got strengthened, LTC got slaughtered. I'm GhostPlater on LTC too and I saw it coming moths ago, then suddenly discovered DRK, basically went 1 -1 with the entire moderator team and jumped over here.

Everyone went crazy for ASICs after huge success of LTC on ore-orders by the millions, but companies still havent delivered for months on end with flimsy excuses, but the hashrate is going up like crazy, and price collapsing.

As soon as RC4 rolls out, I do see a wave of shrinking LTC stake holders running for life into Dark! If they have any sense of whats coming!

 - SPORK !! bo-ho we dont need fork to make it happen, but flip a switch when its rocking and fork is done smooth as can be.
 - testnet is going brilliantly. squishing the remaining little bugzies and done.
 - 98% network consensus already

And 20 something % of the total money supply is distributed, locked and loaded by an army of 855 fully active nodes ready to blast the world with anonymous tx.

This is going to be an epic revolution

I love this.

I'd like to buy an Ltc ASIC soon and pay like 5%-10% of its initial price.

That would be awesome!

I'm pretty excited by the idea that people can use something like shapeshifter.io to convert Btc to Drk, rinse then convert to Btc for spending if needed. It may mean much higher transaction volumes for Drk. Effectively, Btc's private market becomes Drk's.

 1 DRK = $4.74
 1 LTC = $5.15

Imagine what's going to happen when those numbers flips over
