What's the fastest amd and nvidia miners right now and where are their links? If they are closed source also provide the alternative, slower, open source.

I want to update the wiki because it's kind of obsolete in this department.

Please provide some indicative numbers for cards like 280s / 290s, 750/780 Tis.
sgminer v5 is the fastest AMD miner at the moment that I know of.

My R9 280x get 4.2 Mh/s each

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=632503.0

Depends heavily on card. I have cards running at 3.8 Max (1038/1500), and others are running fine on 4.3 (1160/1500).

Nvidia 750 (non ti), 2.1-2.2 Mhs with overclocking (1.8 without). Latest ccminer. Consider 750ti, as they have more shaders so you get around 2.6-2.7 Mhs for like $25 more.
I like the 750(ti) as they run at like 45 W and no issues whatsoever.

It's been so much fun to watch the evolution of Darkcoin from the beginning of times. I realize now that the issues we had with some of the previous RC's happened for a reason: They happened so that not only Darkcoin could evolve, but more so, they happened so that Evan could evolve, as a thinker, a problem solver, a cryptologist.  Everything that happened to Darkcoin and Evan were necessary to become the mature product we are today.

I take my hat off to Evan for his willingness to learn, admit, adapt and keep trying to find the perfect solution, even if that required a total overhaul of initial concept. I might be jumping the gun, but the end result is beautiful.

I remember the days when gmaxwell would tell Evan to stop referring to Coinjoin for the technology used in Darksend as he did not want his idea to be asociated with DRK. Now I realize that he was right, Darksend+ is so much more and so much better than Coinjoin. Thanks for pointing it out gregory. We will stop using this term to not undersell Darkcoin's underlying technology.

I find it immensely ironic that, in the end, coinjoin doesn't even work!

Non-technical coin. Use OZC to intro coins to everyday aussies: http://ozziecoin.com

Drivers AMD

14.7 Beta - Windows (These have been stable for me so far) - http://support.amd.com/en-us/kb-articles/Pages/latest-catalyst-windows-beta.aspx

What's the power ratio these days? It used to be 50% compared to scrypt... I guess it has gone up due to the optimizations, but how higher?

They're a monero shop these days, expect heel dragging for anything DRK related. In the past though just asking politely in the trollbox has got the few problems I ever had there sorted out reasonably quickly.

Apropos of nothing, a few weeks back when I was playing around with NXT assets Cryptsy took four entire days to release £10 worth of NXT to me. First, last, only time on Cryptsy...

If Lite loses the Nr.2 spot to DRK, that silver thing would be what, lead?

I'm going to post a load of balloons to Charlie Lee when that happens.

Taking figures from a guide I wrote in a past life :https://forum.feathercoin.com/index.php?/topic/6867-undervolting-the-270x-toxic-windows-81/

Old Scrypt power figures for a rig of 6 X 270x Toxics are 1150 watts normal and 980 watts undervolted.  Figures I just gave you for the same rig running new world x11, 770 watts normal voltage and 550 watts undervolted.

Just over 2 to 1 ratio if you undervolt...

The new generation have arrived and they brought their own currency...

Poloniex has always been quick to resolve for me.. but yeah I think trollbox gets attention there. HAd a similar issue with NXT on cryptsy 2weeks and likewise. Never again.
