I agree MINTCOIN is cool but 19 billion is a lot of coins

If it makes you feel better, the estimated value of currency circulating in the world right now is over $58 trillion.  Add onto that the amount of goods  purchased with credit, and 19 billion doesn't sound so big.

Mintcoin could be a great idea as store of value once it properly stabilizes for sure.

Mintcoin got added! I believe this means now Mintcoins can be sent by email to people in a bundle.

Ok so over and over the same half a dozen people repeat "this coin is amazing" "strong buy indicators" etc honestly nice sentiments but absolutely no evidence to support these claims. We have been languishing for quite a while now, what is being done to actually improve the value of mint? Donations and merchant acceptance are all well and good but historically they haven't done much to prices.

There's a plan, but we need MintCoin Fund to be official first.
Hi,

I was not much active on the thread recently. But I read every single post (I really do - and there are some that really warm my heart).

It is my pleasure to announce I received a letter from the French Administration (I could scan the letter, but since it is in French, I don't think it would be that interesting, plus the fact that I am already working on corrections). There is one good news and one bad news.
The bad news is there are some things they want me to modify. It is on the way.
The good news is that those things are minor ones. For the most part, the French administration is fine with Mintcoin Fund.

Of course, as long as it is not formally accepted by the fiscal administration, we could still get bad surprises. But so far, so good Smiley

Everyone please read this reddit post about Mintcoin's premine transparency: http://www.reddit.com/r/MintCoin/comments/256n8r/premine_transparency/

I think we need to implement the said changes.

I copy the words to my site:
http://www.mint.tiv.cc/pdt/post/index.php?/archives/12-Mintcoin-Premine-Transparency.html
I am generous to link to other sites.
