In order to mitigate that risk we would like to encourage miners to switch to PPLNS. We introduced LTC PPLNS worker 2 days ago. Miners are paying only 1.5% fee in PPLNS mode. So in along run it is much more profitable than PPS or RBPPS. 1.5 % PPLNS is also more profitable than old 2% RBPPS or 3.5% PPS.

Would you be so kind and provide for us:
- ltc/share figure, so that a miner can know exactly how much he/she should get per share ( you used to have that, i'm not sure why this is gone)
- option to select worker share difficulty even if you mandate a 600 minimum, bigger share values would not hurt (this is not so important but it would be a nice to have)
- provide shares submitted / block found statistics for a minimum of last 200 blocks ( currently you show shares for the last 20 blocks, although, sometimes this statistics is way off. for example i can see that tho blocks lasting for aprox same time duration, submitted shares can differ as much as by a factor of 2, as if your hash rate had halved for a period of 2 minutes, some blocks have 0 shares)
- provide per hour/day/week statistics of shares submitted and blocks found
- add ltc etc. balances in the API
- add shares user submitted in the web interface and api

This is not meant as a off the cuff criticism, but is a honest effort to make mining experience better for everyone.

Thank you for your effort. That is quite a list of requirements Smiley Some are really important.
Most of them are already on my development list but as always pool performance and security improvements have always highest priority.
I will update my list and I hope I will be able to introduce at least part of those features in following 1-2 months.

Coinotron,

The explorer links linking to Cryptocoinexporer need to be fixed. I see you have updated the links, however the block links need to use block height rather then block hash.
I decided to do it this way, because it is easier to create a link using a height number then a hash.

For example TRC block 309533:

Your site now links this way:

http://trc.cryptocoinexplorer.com/block/00000000000004013ba782395f0be5be169059dfdf34116b98f46bf0b808f821

This will return an error (Which I realize I need to make a proper handler on, either by searching by hash or proper error page).

The correct link would be:

http://trc.cryptocoinexplorer.com/block/309533

The API also works in this fashion, though I could add the option to use hash instead of height if the demand is there.  Smiley

I have been mining on your site for a long, long  time.
2 days ago, it started doing weird stuff, such as one miner will be connected, and the other gets error messages, that it is not connected.
They sit side by side and have the same internet connection.
Later they may both be not connected and get the error message, so I have turned them off because there seems to be a problem, wit hyour site.

I have several computers and other things connected to the internet, and it is not my internet connection.

On my main computer, your site may or may not come up properly.

something is up, and you may want to address this issue.

even from this same computer, right this moment, I try and access your site from another page and it will not connect.
In a minute or 2, it may connect again.
I can connect to any OTHER page, or website, , just not yours.

accesssing this site has no problems, which says it is your site having problems.

Please don't treat us like microsoft does the world and tell us it is not having any issues, when it is clear it is having issues.

1:55 p.m. cst 4-27-2014 and for the last 5 minutes...........
Firefox:
Problem loading page

The connection has timed out
The server at www.coinotron.com is taking too long to respond.

When it happens again, please run this command in command window: tracert coinotron.com
Please send output of that command to coinotron@gmail.com

I know time stamps are shown in UTC. Is it possible currently, or would it be possible to add the ability, to change the time zone your account is shown in? It would be useful for me to be able to see when the last share was mined by one of my miners in my local time zone without having to do the conversion to UTC.

Why is Coinotron sending out LTC payments without fees? I have one that still hasn't hit my wallet yet and it's probably going to take forever.

Recommended Exchanges: Binance.com | CelsiusNetwork
GPG ID: 4880D85C | 1% Escrow | 8% IPO/ICO Escrow services Temporarily Closed | Bitcointalk is the ONLY place where I use this name (No Skype/IRC/YIM/AIM/etc) | 13CsmTqGNwvFXb7tD9yFvJcEYCDTB8wQTS | Beware of these SCAM sites! | *Sponsored Link

For very long time LTC client added fees to almost all payouts. But indeed lately more and more payouts was sent without fee.
I fixed it.

Minimal payout limit is not 0.01 (any coin)
LTC      0.3
FTC      5
DOGE              1000
VTC      1
PPC              1
TRC      5
FRC              5

You just have to read, nothing else   Roll Eyes

Right this minute your site is showing me mining dogecoins, when I turned that off 1 hour ago, and, it says the absolute wrong numbers on my other coins I am mining, after the same hour.

Pool uses 60 min. time span to estimate your hashrate.

also , I set my payout to .01 coins to get my coins out, and that was yesterday and the coins are still setting there.
what is up? Your site says to set it below what normal payouts would be, and this is the lowest number allowed, period.
DON'T turn into another Big Vern, or Mark Karples. I wouldn't trust either of them as far as I can see through a brick wall.

Like Pencha said: there is no 0.01 Minimum Payout Threshold on any coin.
If your balance is below Minimum Payout Threshold and you want to cash out and stop mining please contact me: coinotron@gmail.com

I think he just read the Payout requirements wrong thinking they had to be at or below a certain Level, Instead of at or above. I can understand how this could happen if you are new to Mining as in most pools you are pretty much on your own.  even at the Bitcointalk forum a lot of folks explain stuff in programing terms which not everyone gets so it leads to a lot of confusion. and sometimes when you read & read you don't always understand and get it backwards.

Not everyone understands when they start that everyone including themselves & the pool operators are all trying to make a profit, and if payout are done in to small an increment it takes out the profit.
