Newbies can easily be influenced from what they hear from speculations.. I've read several times people tend to advice to hold long term. because its easy for them to say JUST HOLD cause theyre not the one losing! For me its not all about holding, its being smart about your own invesment know when to stop and cut the losses.

What are your thoughts?
the invitation to HODL is only a word to influence people, because it is expected that people can decide what to do. I am sure everyone has their own strategies to survive on cryptocurrency including in terms of HODL or selling.

Yes, time for stopping has to be 'in time' when prices will be good for selling and you will be calm about your holding money without loss and minuses with costs.

Yeah you are saying true but for holding I can say that people advice newbie just because they are not aware by technical issues of the market so it's better for them to hold inspite of facing the loss beginners have to learn first then invest their income in crypto market it's good for them. And to hold it's better then loss.

Holding is the safest way to make money but it needs to be careful in analyzing and checking trends of your cryptocurrencies. Not everyone here follows these rules.

I do not have much experience in exchanging. So I choose holdings, this may be true or false. But I still prefer to hold more.

Yep, so many horror stories of people hodling absolute trash coins until they reach approximately $0 value. People need to understand that the hodl mentality really only works for the very strongest of coins such as Bitcoin, Ethereum and perhaps EOS, Cardano and a select few others. Not every trash coins is going to grow to insane height, so if something dumps beyond the point of recovery (e.g. 1/10th) value, then exit your position and cut your losses.

I agree with you in part. But if you are involved in cryptocurrency and are suffering loss, then what is there left for you except for holding? You may sell off your all holdings when you do not care about loss. So in that way, holding is most important in cryptocurrency. Patience is the key in it. So wait, wait and wait until coin prices go higher.

Everything has its time , and even HOLD . Holding the coins you need to also monitor its movements. Because it can and will not grow forever , and you need to catch the highest wave of prices. Just watch from time to time

I will never stop holding honestly, doesn't matter what the price is because I am both holding and cashing out at the same time.

I make money from bitcoin so I get paid in bitcoin and when I get paid I cash the most of it out and keep small number in there, which means when I get paid like 100 bucks I cash out like 90 bucks of it and keep the 10 bucks of it from that payment.

This means I still cash out at the highest prices and lowest prices but I also have money saved aside during the bear and bull as well. I keep that until I want to buy something and when I have enough money to actually buy what I want I cash it out and start saving again. So there is no stopping on holding for me.

In the world of cryptocurrency, buying and selling coins/tokens in the right time will give you huge profit once done correctly. We have to know our limit in terms of holding our coins, now if you see that your coin has a high potential growth probably holding your coins/tokens is your best choice.

As for me, it is easy even if you have losses, because crypto is firm as steel and it has no chances to be cheap

For me i advice newbie that dont hold so long becauae you dont have yet good knowledge on when to hold and sell. But i if you plan to hold it will be good if you sell immediately if you see a profit on your holsing coin. Example you invest 100$ then its turn into 150$. You should sell that time because you dont know when it fall or can he be rise more

Definitely I agree with your opinion. With the present situation the market have being experiencing for a while now it's definitely not advisable to hodl. And if you want to you have to do it smartly.

I agreed your thought, if you know the market run then i bet you can have a good profit not mean that your a newbie it should be better to hold. You better be wise when its comes to your holding because as market price is changing everytime you must know when to hold and when to sell. It has to be smart in every way.

Very interesting question, but I think that the answer is only your greed, you will store as much as it will require, it's obvious, because many projects do so. I am sure that many agree. I hope you understand what I'm talking about.

No way of knowing for sure, I just try to sell small amounts when the market goes up and buy when it goes down.

When they say that they have been in the 2-3 years, I don't agree with them. Because the market will grow and alternately decline, if we keep an exact time, maybe we can't get anything, even we will fail. I think we'd better sell when the price is high, and wait until it falls. Don't be too greedy, if the price rises 4-5 times I will sell

True holders are those people who keep their investments for years and do not cash out on such news breaking highs like the past year.
I think it's a, little bit wrong to call newbies as holders, they are mostly panicers who sell their actives on every serious drop like - 20-30%. Of course it is easy to say "just Hodl", but I think holding doesn't bring any positive move to the price, if everyone is holding the price simply doesn't move or a coin simply looses its volatility and price. That's exactly what we can watch now on the market. Crypto should be sold and bough to move up.

For the beginner to do long-term investment trading strategy is very good indeed. When the novice does short-term trading I think for right now is very difficult. Because the market is not stable and BTC, ETH value also strongly decreases. So you should stick to hold the coins.
