Know when to stop a HODL/HOLD

It's really a good question most of the people don't know when to stop making profit basically newcomers. The problem with newcomers is most of them think that they will rich overnight . So mostly most of them ending there life while panicking. I have a rules I almost hold all coins and I buy most of it when price is low or about to low I hold them for that time where atleast I made 30-40% to 200% profit in fiat money which I invested. And I chose some coins like btc efx ripple which I hold for endless time cause good project have potential to give 200x profite maybe more.

I agree to be more strategic we must jnow when to dump our coins or when to hold it,the price will goes dip and it will also rise up anytime ,most probably its time to sell when the price gies higher inorder to have huge profit and hold when the price is low.

I my opinion for the newbies its better for them to study first about the appearances of crypto currencys. Especially in handling risky situations like price fluctuations some of the newbies are getting panic. It's better to learned more strategies before engaging in investment in crypto. So that their money will not lose.

We must really learn to practice this thing, you don't need to hold on that for a long just you just need to set your target price and the cut loss price. Incurring loses is normal in this market, but don't let your holdings to dump so hard. Take profit, and buy back when your coin hits the bottom.

If you are holding a token or coins you have more knowledge about and you are sure the team is really working. You don't have to panic sell because no matter the current decline most coins are currently undergoing.You will be rest assured that there is light at the end of the tunnel.

When we choose to do the long term investment with crypto currency, we need to accept the fact we are taking the risk of lossing. In my own opinion, when you stop holding, it means we are already lossing. So the best thing to do with long term investment is to HOLD STILL because when you stop it, then it may be the end and you will never get back your money.

hello mate. absolutely mate! it is really not about until when to hold your assets and when to trade them or change it fiat currency. you really can trade your assets as soon as you want, just be smart and observant at the same time when trading so you would not be taken advantage by fomo or fud. cheers mate!

to stop hold? for now it's not the right time to stop holding. all you need to do is continue holding until the price goes up and you get a profit. don't act or you will lose money.

Indeed, we should become smart investor. But to know when to selling our coin need good trading skill. Many peoples dont understand about market movement and sometimes they just buying and then forgeting their investment. They just want to hold for next few years

It’s true that your the one who make your own decision when is the best time to buy or sell. For HODL is a point where you take a break and hoping for a successive decision to sell your token. Just be vigilant on the coins you hold and be a smart investor

There's a chance that things went out of control, even you think that the development will proceed but if the coin got lack of support from the community chances being dumped completely are always possible, holding coins with active community and hard working team with very usable project will bring big but need to assess a lot and trust your own instinct don't be moved by news and fuds.

I never worry on cutting losses as I do invest with only highly reputed coins hence I do not bother about potential losses which is the reason why I never think about exiting from the downfall market. I simply hold my coins among many potential losses as I am sure about near future's bounce back. I am talking about only very few coins which I am holding them for years.

When you avoid investing with those altcoins which has no future then you can reply on "hold" all the times. Yes, where you invest will decide whether you may go for holding or not. Investing with some random coins and then simply waiting with your holding will not make any sense but will lead to big big disasters eventually. Make investments wisely that is the first and "all" part. If we do that part more accurately then 99% of our worries and struggle will get eliminated.

sometimes cut loss also apart from the investment strategy, when you see market still at bearish moment, dont push your self to keep hold your coin.
Just sell them in a loss to buy more at the low price. It also can help you recover your initial faster than you keep hold them.
But cut loss also need a good judgment, if not, you just gonna be another panic sell person.

a good step when investing we must know when to throw and hold our coins. if only relying on speculation from people is not the right step. holding the long run is good but it is better if we make a decision when we have set a price target to take profits and must be consistent in every decision so there is no loss

Removing a coin when the price is down is not the right decision. I prefer to hold coins than I lose. Just have to be patient for a while and the coin will return to a good position. Isn't this situation often happening. So why should you worry too much?
