I know right? You guys fucked up your economy, stop trying to fuck up ours!

The government is shutting down, they don't want people to lose trust in the USD, so they need to come up a way to disrupt mass migration to BTC. The easiest way is to go f**k with the largest pool.

It is now down to 170TH/s

I know gov't doomsday (yey!) is upon us in days... hahah trust in the USD? People still trust that old wretched and dried up paper whore? Guess the sheep are about to have a rude awakening it looks like.

Yeah I seem to have gotten back up but we'll see for how long. Hopefully the clowns in DC and Wall St have come to their senses...

Sometimes you don't have a choice as that "old wretched and dried up paper whore" is being backed by the strongest military and most comprehensive espionage network in the world.

yea i have a hand written config on all my miners.

its really odd to see the pools speed drop. 178,405 GH/s  i know its because of the DDos but still

It apprears that BitMit is getting hit with a ddos also. cloudflare is showing a cahed copy. Think someone is ddosing cloudflare?

in that case jus add:

Code:
,{
"url":"http:pool.50btc.com:8332",
"user":"<YOUR EMAIL OR [btc] ADDR HERE>",
"pass":"deadbeef",
"pool-priority":"1"
}

as the last pool in side the []

(looks down at feet) I know, I know. I'm still guilty of having to use it day to day. But if more people took a conscious effort to use alternatives, that status the USD maintains would begin to eradicate (and it is eradicating, albeit slowly). Maybe the shutdown (or whatever conclusion they reach) will open a little more eyes to reality

I'm actually wondering what the target is.  BTC Guild's mining servers were targetted.  So was the website.  Cloudflare is used for BTC Guild's website.  But I doubt one website getting attacked would take their whole system down, so the attack may be targetting large sections of Bitcoin related sites.  I doubt it's a coincidence that Cloudflare went down just as BTC Guild's pool servers started coming back online (loading many proxy servers to keep mining going).

You're the man!  Stratum is dropping every now and again, but overall much better than an hour ago.  Congratulations, excellent work in sidestepping the jerks.

Excellent work.

This forum could be down at any moment if the schmucks are taking down everything Bitcoin related.

Looking from the other side of the coin, these activities are indication that the Illuminati is feeling insecure.

Secondary private DNS has been updated (couldn't update it because Cloudflare went down).

Isn't it always? And with the Oct 1 bomb looming over, seems quite realistic rather than theory

Naw, if it was government you'd just be redirected to fbi/nsa/homeland security.  This was just a very big attack that *appears* to have targetted many Bitcoin sites & services.  However, it's tough to say since all of Cloudflare was down for a while there.
