Most of the RR batsmen have flopped this season and Robin Uthappa is not the only one. You might be surprised to hear that their best batsman during this season was Tom Curran, who averaged 83.00 with the bat. They actually managed to drop him from the playing XI. 

Tewatia is the second in the list, as he averages 44.80. Others are Buttler - 30.11, Smith - 26.50, Samson - 24.72, Stokes - 22.00 and Archer - 21.40. Uthappa is far down, with 16.33.

I don't know why this guy is not thrown out of the squad yet. Younger players such as Narayan Jagadeesan and Ruturaj Gaikwad may be inexperienced, but they deserve a couple of outings.

Mathematically CSK can still qualify but for that they need to play very good cricket which i doubt they can't. Mumbai Indians, on the other hand are playing decent cricket and they will want to win the two points to secure their position in the top four teams.

I doubt CSK has the ability to win today's match, if we look back to their consistent defeat. Of course you never know cricket is always unpredictable.

Finally international cricket will return to Pakistan after the pandemic. Zimbabwe team will visit Pakistan and will play 3 ODIs scheduled for October 30, November 1 and 3 and three T20Is on November 7, 8 and 10. The T20 will be held in my home city, Lahore but i think it will be closed stadium matches with no crowd.  

The matches are shifted from Lahore to Rawalpindi due to smog  
So this means that now both ODI and T20 against Zimbabwe will be played at the same venue. Also PSL 2020 remaining matches will not be played in Lahore too.

CSK - 114/9 in 20 overs. This is the lowest total of Chennai in this season and not at all the winning score against MI for sure. Dhoni would be disappointed with this season and the way his team has played. Also, one thing the fans would be disappointed is due to Covid T20 WC got postponed and finally Dhoni resigned retired and this I think might be the last season before Dhoni calls off from IPL as well. So not able to make it to play off will hurt him for sure.

MI got a flying start with 26/0 in 3.1 overs. Edit :- MI won comfortably with 10 wickets remaining.

Today all the hopes of CSK progressing further in the tournament will end. When the tournament started, i was favoring this team but they proved to be one of the weakest team of the tournament. Ms Dhoni did not gained any batting form in the tournament and this also effected on the team moral. I am of the point of view that that CSK should change their captain for the next season.

No one could have imagined that CSK would play so badly in the IPL this time. It never occurred to me how bad a team would be if their first five batsmen played badly frequently.  I did not like the captaincy of Captain Dhoni at this time.  And he himself is now in off form.  I don't remember where CSK Last played so badly.  Because they have never played so badly in a match.  MS Dhoni's performance in every last season was above all but this season he is performing the worst.  On the other hand, Mumbai Indians are performing as well as every year.  And the captaincy of Rohit Sharma is worth remembering. Until the last news, Mumbai Indians scored 70 runs for the loss of 0 wickets in seven overs.  I am sure Mumbai Indians will win the match before 11 overs today.

I don't think there will be a change of captaincy for CSK if MSD is going to play for the next year because we all know how good he is while captaining any teams he played for, single season's bad performance is not going to change anything.I think the CSK need to change their core team in my opinion because they are playing with the same core team for years and years. Even though they got experience still they are out of an international career for too long.
