The performance of the Indian women's team in the second match was truly amazing. However, they were not able to win. But they played very well. The performance of the Indian batsmen was good in the first match as well. But the Indian women's bowling line-up is still not strong enough. They are not able to do well against renowned teams. If India women's bowlers are able to perform well then they will be able to defeat Australia. The result in the upcoming matches will depend on the performance of the Indian bowlers.

Why you are saying that they were unable to win? The second match was tied, but India won during the super-over. But I agree about the first match. Australia just destroyed India and won by 9 wickets. The third match will be played tomorrow at Brabourne and Indian women will have the momentum with them. Smriti Mandhana has so far scored 107 runs from two matches, and looks like in optimal form. Others such as Harmanpreet Kaur and Shafali Verma also got good starts. But the bowling is a concern. Both the pacers and the spinners have leaked too many runs.

Good come back from Indian women team in 2nd T20I. No one was expecting a win from Indian women team over Australia as they are very strong. Beth Mooney and Tahlia McGrath destroyed Indian bowling as they both had a partnership of 158 runs. In reply Indian batting was good and they were unlucky not to win the match in 20 overs. Its still a win, as India were ahead of Australia in super over. Its good to see jam pack stadium for women T20I and it will be a positive indicator for WIPL coming up next year.

There is no doubt that Indians are crazy for cricket. I wasn't able to see today's match, but I am sure it must be on high side. This is good for women cricket and for upcoming WIPL. Right now in terms of performance only Australia is leader and its good to see Indian women beating them in 2nd T20I. Indian women lost today T20I but they have confidence with them that they can beat Australia in upcoming matches.

The credit to Australian women victory is dedicated to Ellyse Perry who played an exceptional innings of 75 runs and Grace Harris  41 runs which has contributed alot to the good target of 172 runs given to Indian women. Balling wise they also restricted alot of runs by Indians that lead them to win this match.

India Woman is a strong team but Australia is leaps and bounds above the rest of the teams in terms of performance and winning percentage, like the old 90s and 2000s men's team and you need to have some incredible performance to defeat them even when India is playing in their home turf. India is dependent on the top order to perform unlike Australia who has some power hitters down the batting order as well.

England women played this match well. Obviously, they are also very improved and much stronger than the West Indies women. But the way England played this match, it always felt like they were under control from start to finish. The West Indies women actually performed well in this match. They did decent enough to get close to the score. But in the end, the West Indies women did not have enough wickets in hand to accelerate at any moment. Whenever they wanted to accelerate, they lost wickets.

The next T-20 match is going to be a must-win for the West Indies women. Because if they lose that, they lose the series.

In the past if Australia men's team is playing, then it'll be a win from Australia. Such a position is being achieved by Australia Women and the same is being stopped by the India Women team. After the defeat by India, now Australia Women team had made a comfortable win and leads the series. The next match will be the decider as the winning of the match conclude the series result.

Is there any reason behind the sudden degradation of Indian bowling? During the T20I series against England, Indian women constantly conceded more than 170 runs in each of the matches. Renuka Singh bowled well during the 3rd match, but she was expensive in the first two. Other bowlers such as Devika Vaidya and Deepti Sharma are having economy rate of close to 10 runs per over so far in the series. And ESPN Cricinfo pointed out that the Indian women are without a bowling coach for some time now. That maybe one of the reasons.

Yeah, they are missing the bowling coach right now. Skipper Harmanpreet also mentioned this, although Bowling was always a problem for the Indian Women's team when playing against England and Australia (Especially Aussie).

This doesn't mean they are shit, actually quite good against other teams, it's just Aussies are a way too good team for any bowling attack in women's cricket.
