The under 19 team (both men &women) have performed exceptionally well in ICC tournaments. They have each won the T20WC against big countries which proves India has a good talent base. I do not know what happened to these players when they join the senior team, they start losing the same ICC tournaments. I guess the fame & money takes over the innocense and the zeal to perform. Last time India won the T20WC was in 2007.

I don't think BPL is getting popular. Because I don't see much attendance in BPL matches. The main reason why BPL is not popular is mismanagement. Since the inception of BPL we have been hearing various controversies about it. And seeing the latest bad decisions by the umpires. Despite BCB being a rich enough cricket board they are organizing BPL without DRS technology. The third umpire also created controversy with several wrong decisions. Due to these reasons the popularity of BPL is decreasing day by day. Viewers are losing interest in watching BPL.

None of the franchises leagues can depend mainly on the revenue from outside. First, they need to maximize the revenue earning potential within the host country. BPL is broadcasted in India and some of the other countries, but there is fierce competition from other leagues such as SA20, BBL and ILT20. But then, they should focus on Bangladesh first. It is a country of close to 200 million people and right now only a fraction of the revenue earning potential is being realized. And regarding the recent controversies in BPL, it is disappointing. Hopefully BCB will get things in order without much delay.

Schedule is the problem. Since it is being staged in January-February, there is an overlap with the other franchise leagues and therefore most of the international players are unavailable. But then, Bangladesh is a country that is heavily impacted by Monsoon rains. There is only a small window when the BPL can be played. January is the driest month, followed by December and February. In December there is an overlap with the BBL. If they schedule for November-December, then chances are that at least a few matches will be lost to rain. But I guess that is a risk that they should be willing to take.

Khulna Tigers have performed very poorly. Now it is a matter of seeing how well the batsmen of Khulna Tigers can play.

The second major ICC tournament of this year will start by next week. 2023 ICC Women's T20 World Cup will witness the participation from 10 countries, and will be played in South Africa from 10th to 26th February 2023 (the same venue where U-19 Women's world cup was held a few weeks back). India and Australia are the favorites to win the trophy this time, with England and South Africa also in contention. Bangladesh and Ireland have progressed from the qualifier tournament (which saw participation from 8 teams).

Today 33rd Match of Bangladesh Premier League Fortune Barishal vs Khulna Tigers these two teams came to the field to play. Fortune Barishal batted first and set a target of 194 runs in 20 overs. I think the run Fortune Barishal scored was the right run to win. Great batting.  Performance has shown Fortune Barishal. Now it is a matter of seeing how well Fortune Barishal can do in bowling. Khulna Tigers have performed very poorly. Now it is a matter of seeing how well the batsmen of Khulna Tigers can play.

Fortune Barishal won the match by 37 runs,  they gave target of 194 runs to khulna Tigers which they were unable to chase and went short if balls . In 20 overs they chased 157 runs with 8 loss of wickets,  Fortune balling was good so was batting that's why they won the match.

Bangladesh premier League (BPL) Tamim Iqbal of Khulna team is under a lot of pressure due to not performing well.  The number of wickets fell by Khulna team was also higher while Barisal collected 194 runs losing only five wickets.  But Yasir Ali of Khulna team scored a half century and the rest of the players could not show such a good performance.  Barisal's bowling performance is very good and Barisal's points count stands at 14.  Meanwhile, Khulna has only 4 points.  Shakib Al Hasan can lead well in team formation.

I have been following some senior players like Kohli, Rahul, and Chahal on social media and prominently on Instagram. They were never so cool or active on Instagram or existed social media. Junior players when they join the senior team learn before becoming famous or learn how to get into that level as a senior member.

When you see your senior doing fine without being part of the playing 11 or those players who play well for some time and still they make more money than them, what can you think they would have in their mind when playing?

And with this win South Africa Women won 'South Africa Women's T20I Tri-Series'. From Indian side only Harleen Deol and Harmanpreet Kaur were able to score 46 and 21  runs, no other player was able to score runs and India end up giving a small target of 110 runs. India bowling was impressive as they picked up 3 wickets quite early and didnt allowed SA to score runs in Power Play, SA were 21/3 in 6.3 overs. The arrival of Tyron on the pitch turned the match towards SA. If India have scored around 130 then surely they have a chance to win the final.

Well... they should be happy with whatever they have achieved. Their opponents in the tri-series were two of the giants in women's cricket - South Africa and West Indies and the playing conditions were unfamiliar. And despite that the Indian women did well. And in the final, they lost the match from a winning position. At one point, South Africa was at 47/4 after 10.2 overs. But then the partnership between Chloe Tryon and Nadine de Klerk took them home. The Indian captain (Harmanpreet Kaur) looked clueless once Tyron started attacking the bowlers.

Indian Women's team has shown some strong performances. India lost the Women's T20I Tri-Series final to host South Africa due to weak batting efforts. While Indian Women's bats were not up to par, their bowlers were impressive. Although winning moments create excitement during a match, their comeback wasn't sustained for long because of this low score. There is no way I will overthrow their will and efforts as it has been proven. It was their due.

I don't think the runs scored by Dhaka Dominators are the right runs for them to win. If Dhaka Dominators start a bad bowling performance now, then they won't win this match.  There will be no chance. If Dhaka Dominators could have scored 150 runs then the match between the two teams would have been frozen.

Dhaka Dominators gave an easy target to Rangpur Riders with required run rate of 6 so if they didn't ball good , rangpur riders  will win this match easily.  RR did a great task in balling and restricted Dhaka Dominators on 130 runs .

The performance of Rangpur's batsmen was also poor in this match. If Nurul Haran could not collect 61 runs from just 33 balls, Rangpur would have been defeated for sure. Batsmen should bat more consciously if batting at low targets.
