Currently West Indies are trying to meet the target given by India and they have already lost 1 wicket. Although West Indies are under a bit of pressure due to the rapid fall of wickets, the runs are likely to increase if the 2 batsmen currently at the crease can hold on to the game. If Kirk McKenzie and Kraigg Brathwaite can continue to monitor the game well, West Indies can reach the target set by India. West Indies have collected 86 runs for the loss of 1 wicket so far and they still need to reach the huge margin of 352 runs.

West Indies got a good start as they lost only one wicket on day 2. West Indies are still 352 runs behind and it wont be easy to score 350 runs against Ashwin and Jadeja. The struggling Kohli has scored a test hundred which means his spot in Test squad is confirmed once again. West Indies lost first test miserably and there is not much hope for second test also.

The third day of the match and West Indies got off to a great start in their first innings. West Indies may have entered the field with a different plan against India in the second Test after losing the first Test match badly. So far West Indies have collected 86 runs for one wicket. West Indies are 352 runs behind India's first innings run so far. Even though West Indies' wickets do not fall, the average of runs is very low. At the moment, West Indies are managing to score just 2 runs per over against the Indian bowlers. Besides keeping the wickets intact, West Indies need to increase their run average otherwise they will not do well in this match. West Indies must increase the run rate if they want to score the runs that India did in the first innings.

But there is no way to say for sure if West Indies will be able to score 400 runs. The performance of the batsmen of this team is very erratic. And the sudden batting disaster of West Indies is not surprising. But Kraigg Brathwaite's batting really impressed me. He is unbeaten on 67 runs. But the important thing is that Kraigg Brathwaite's strike rate is only 34. If another West Indies batsman can bat responsibly and form a partnership with Kraigg Brathwaite, there is a chance for West Indies to collect 400 runs.

It will not be difficult for Cameroon Green and Mitchell Marsh at the crease to collect 61 runs. And the important thing is that there is a strong chance of rain in the coming days too. But if it doesn't rain the next day then maybe England will win the match. And the series will be tied at 2-2.

This is still looking like very much winnable from England. Actually, this is easier to win for England. I have no idea how Australia is going to actually survive the day.

I also do not think that Australia actually have any good alternative other than playing out the fifth day. Because if Australia wants to get a good score to give a good target to England, you can actually be a problem for them. Because Australia might actually lose all the 5 wickets wanting to do that.

But the problem is if Australia drives to just hold back and play out the whole day. They might actually lose the five wickets that they have left anyway. So will it be a good idea to go for some good score? Australia has a decision to make.
