Bangladesh is close to a lead of 500 runs. Close to 65 overs remain for today, and it looks very likely that the match will get over by today. Najmul Hossain Shanto has scored a century in the second innings as well, after doing so in the first innings. Mominul Haque is at the other end and both the batsmen are looking very comfortable out there. Afghan bowlers are looking very ordinary and they seems incapable of troubling the Bangladeshi batsmen. After their win against Bangladesh in 2019, this match has turned out to be a big disappointment for Afghanistan.

Najmul Hossain Shanto is playing a big role for Bangladesh to win this Test match. I think if Najmul Hossain Shanto did not perform so well in batting then Bangladesh team would not have scored so many runs. Afghanistan started playing badly both in bowling and batting. It seems  Afghanistan will lose the match by many runs.Bangladesh team will focus on winning. 274 runs in 53 overs till now.Bangladesh lost 2 wickets.

At the moment, Bangladesh lead by 526 runs, a good collection so far. With such a strong collection of runs, Bangladesh should win the one-off test against Afghanistan. While it would be great if Afghanistan could put up a good fight, which is unlikely to happen. In fact, it may turn out to be a big disappointment for them. Yes, Afghanistan should be given more opportunities to play in test matches. As newcomers in the test culture, it's important plat more matches and level up their skills.

Earlier it was Mominul holding the record of scoring century in both the innings of a test match. Now Shanto have got added to the record list. An awesome game from Shanto with strike rate above 80. Bangladesh have lead by 543 runs with the second innings score of 307/4. Afghanistan doesn't have any chance of win/draw the match. The team can plan something and fight hard, considering the first innings performance Bangladesh would finish the game earlier.

Bangladesh is leading by 536 runs and I don't know why they are not declaring yet. Zahir Khan just picked up two quick wickets and apart from that Bangladeshis were cruising along quite comfortably. Mominul Haque is still out there and scoring at brisk pace, and now Litton Kumer Das, the captain has come out to join him. Perhaps Bangladesh wants to bat for another hour or so, since this is a good opportunity to improve the individual stats for their batsmen. Anyway, today is the 3rd day. So there is plenty of time remaining to bowl Afghanistan out in the 2nd innings.

Lol, now this is pure bullying and stat padding from the Bangladeshi batters. 

They have more than enough runs on the board but still no sign of declaration and piling up more runs. They are surely going to make some kind of winning margin record if they clean up Afghanistan cheaply in 4th inning.

After Nazmul Hossain scored a quiet century in the second innings, Mominul Haque is close to a century. If he can score only 12 runs, this Bangladeshi Test specialist player will pick up another century in his Test career. Liton Das has formed a good partnership with Mominul Haque at the moment. So far Liton Das is unbeaten with 43 runs. A huge target awaits Afghanistan. I don't think Afghanistan can win with such a huge target. There is also a possibility of Afghanistan losing by innings. Bangladesh may declare the match by batting all day today.

Bangladesh's performance so far has been abysmal and has racked up massive runs that have cost Afghanistan dearly. Later on I think Afghanistan will never be able to meet this target as Afghanistan were all out by few runs on the first day. But the runs scored by the Bangladesh Tigers are very good and Nazmul Hasan has scored centuries in two matches. And Liton Das and Mominul are currently batting on the pitch. With Mominul on the way to a century and Liton Das on the way to a half-century, chances are high that they will end this match today and put Afghanistan into bat.

Bangladesh has declared the innings against Afghanistan

Bangladesh declared the innings by scoring 425 runs in the second innings. Whereas in the second innings Bangladesh batted a total of 80 overs and Bangladesh lost only four wickets in 80 overs and Mominul Haque and Liton Das remained unbeaten. Out of which Mominul Haque was unbeaten with 121 and Liton Das was unbeaten with 66. Bangladesh declared an innings against Afghanistan at the end of the third day so that the match would not be a draw. Afghanistan need 662 runs to win the Test. With a target of 662 runs, two opening batsmen of Afghanistan have already entered the field. Afghan bowlers failed to give their best against Bangladesh now the onus is on the batsmen let's see what the batsmen do.

I was not expecting such one sided game. Really a disappointing performance from Afghanistan side. First they were all out for 146 runs in first innings and then they allowed Bangladesh to score 425 runs. In run chase of 662 two of there wickets have already gone down and skipper is retired hurt. We saw such performance from India in WTC final. The T20 is destroying the teams capacity to play test.

Australia recently won WTC by beating India comprehensively. England are normally good on there hoem ground and it will be great test for Aussies that how they perform in England. In last Ashes, England lost 4-0 and in current ashes they have new captain. Its just start of the game, lets wait till tea to see who is on upper side.

Ashes 1st Test Day 1  Lunch Break England 124-3 in their 1st innings against Australia. Its been an encouraging start for England with Zak Crawley leading the charge with a well-constructed 61 runs. The team performance reflects their determination to bounce back after the previous Ashes defeat. Australia having recently won the WTC faces a formidable challenge on England home ground. The match is finely poised and the outcome remains uncertain. Lets eagerly await the post lunch session to witness further thrilling cricketing action in the Test match.

 In today's team's 1st Test match, England put in to bat and scored 124 runs in 26.4 overs. So far England have lost 3 wickets. Zak Crawley is out for 61 runs from 73 balls. Ben Duckett is out for 12 runs from 10 balls. Ollie Pope is out for 31 runs from 44 balls.  Australia is bowling very well for which the batsmen of the England team are under a lot of pressure. If England bats like this, there is a possibility that they will be all out.

One thing that I liked about Australia is that they kicked out Mitchell Starc from the squad and instead included Scott Boland. Josh Hazlewood is in prime form and it would have been huge injustice if he was excluded from the playing XI. They did the right thing by dropping the non-performing player (unlike teams like India who would sustain with non-performers for many years). At this point the match is 50-50. Zak Crawley was looking good out there, but then Scott Boland struck at the right moment. Now Joe Root and Harry Brook are at the crease.

Afghanistan finished their game 617 runs behind Bangladesh. At the end of the third day, Afghanistan lost two valuable wickets. If they could finish the third day without a wicket, Afghanistan would have a lot of confidence going into the fourth day. With the loss of two wickets for 45 at the end of the third day, they will undoubtedly struggle to handle the pressure on the fourth day.  
England are currently batting after winning the toss against Australia in The Ashes 2023. England has managed to score 137 runs for three wickets in the first innings so far. The two English batsmen are now trying to get set on the wicket. A good partnership will form if they can be set on the wicket.

Nazmul Hossain Shanto became the second batsman of Bangladesh to score two centuries in the same Test. Earlier, Mominul Haque became the first Bangladeshi to score two centuries in two innings in the same Test. Today, Nazmul Hossain Shanto shared the record of Mominul Haque.  

Nazmul Hossain Shanto is unbeaten with 103 runs so far. Bangladesh is 460 runs ahead of Afghanistan. Zakir Hasan was unfortunately run out for 71 runs. Bangladesh is batting more aggressively in the second innings than the first innings. Bangladesh is running at an economic rate of 5.27. Bangladesh has lost only two wickets so far. With eight more wickets in hand, Bangladesh's innings is expected to be even bigger.

Bangladesh team is batting more beautifully in the second innings than the first innings. Earlier, Mominul Haque scored two centuries in Test matches. Bangladesh player Nazmul Hossain Shanto broke the previous record of two centuries held by Moomin against Afghanistan. Nazmul Hossain batted so beautifully against Shanta Afghanistan. The next batsmen can play with confidence. Bangladesh came ahead of Afghanistan's 460 runs. I think the Bangladesh team is very close to winning the Test series.
