No, I was actually a little surprised to see that performance of Mark Wood in this towards the end. He was playing like a very classy batsman. He was clearing the front leg and playing the ball in the offside. It was risky though. If he missed the Australian bowler was going to knock off the stumps. He was very brave I have to say. It was actually funny in the end to see that he was actually keeping the strike when he had Chris Woakes on the other end. Not saying that Mark Wood is a bad player though.  Good performance from England.

I also think they genuinely deserved to win this test match because they had not done many things wrong in this one. Honestly, after Ben Stokes got out I thought England was done. Australia must've thought the same thing as well. But England showed great resilience. It will still be hard for them to win the Ashes series. But at least they have a chance.

England is also a very good team and especially in test matches. The won this game because they played better than Australia, but they lost the previous match against Australia, and we can easily conclude that both teams are quite good and are very well competitors for each other. Australia has always been a T20 champion team and their main role is to play well in those matches only, and they are among the strongest teams of T20 and ODI match formats, and they always give their best to win those matches. However, we still can't say that they aren't good in test matches, as sometimes it can happen with any team not Australia team to face some losses. I hope that they will play better in the coming matches to regain the fame that they have lost by losing some test matches.

I think this will be the most important match of this Ashes series and England will go in this game with more confidence.

Warner should rather concentrate on T2O and ODI. He has been out of form for quite a long time. He is almost 37 years old and I get a feeling that he gets selected in to the team continuously as a result of his past performances rather than current form. At the most, he has 2-3 years of cricket left with him. Either he could retire from international cricket and concentrate on franchise leagues, or he can just retire from test format and focus on limited overs cricket. At this point, selecting Warner in to the playing XI is going to be unfair to the younger players.

Yep, they played very well. But losing a wicket in a crucial moment can change the game. The Aussies missed some tough 50/50 catches. The result could have been bad for England if they could catch those missed catches. The hits from Mark Wood were outstanding. I thought he might be out early. There is no reason to bat like that in a test match. But, he got some confidence.

Ben Stokes also batted well in the first innings. But he scored only 13 runs in the second innings. However, England still have the chance to win the series as a result of England's victory in this match.

A batter cannot bat well every day. Every player tries their best in series like Ashes! I won't say England will win the series yet, even though they are playing at home. Let's wait for the fourth match result.

Now almost he is going to be 37 years old after this The Ashes series he needs to be announced from all formats specially after his performance in last IPL and now in this series he fails to give any impression which is surely big setback for him and his team already play more than 100 test matches in 12 years of his cricket with 8000+ runs and many good achievements wants to announce this after winning this The Ashes because most chances he will be not going to have his spot into World Cup spot after performance like this in last few months.

His ODI career is also having not good record but as I watch him in IPL there was feeling he will announce about his career but look like he is mentally not ready for this, but he needs to announce as soon as possible because many youngsters are already having good chance for filling this spot quickly in coming Australian season.

We have seen an impressive fight back from the England with 13 wickets taken by Waokes and Wood have big difference and Australian top order batting completely fail to compete with Wood speed and Waokes line and length which was big challenge for them in next test match as well even Mitchel March done good job with Travis head, but this was not enough for them to have another win in this series.
 
Even both teams were completely failed to have anything positive in batting but here English bowling were completely at the top, and they never allow Australia to have anything good for the win in this match and series.
Now from here these two W's can bring back their team in series and surely Australians will feel pressure, but now it's time for English batsmen to improve their performance and bring back their team into competition which is challenging job, but they can do this with their skills and performance.

English selections policy is never been good for themselves as they have too many quality players but mostly wasted and have no good achievements in their career because they never give them proper playing time and their domestic system which is also now burden with too many injuries and other problems are hurting them badly Mark Wood and Chris Woakes entry was massive booster for them and these both turn the tables for their team which was going down badly.

Hopefully now in fourth test which is having good gape will be played at Manchester England will go with this deadly combination instead of going with James Anderson which is completely down in this series with no good performance and surely age factor is also having impact on his performance, but Stuart Broad is surely at his best with leading wicket-taker hopefully he will complete his 600 at Manchester and also give his team second win of this series.

You are partially right here. Woakes was another great inclusion that made a huge difference since he is taking wickets and scoring really well as a tail-ender. Also, Lyon's injury helped them a lot too since Murphy isn't really bowling well.

England need a better wicketkeeper though since Bairstow is doing a shit-job.
