Looks like Australia is going to win this test and it is clear even before the end of play for first day. Before start of this series I have watched few Australian and English former players those were giving their predictions about this series and nine were feeling England can win this series and just two were in favor of Australia but now after watching first test match and now second start I have feeling Australia will be winner by 3 - 1 or 3 - 2 because in quality England is not near them which is big dilemma for them even they are playing at home bowling is completely exposed both veteran bowlers are having nothing positive and spinner is also not available.

Batting is also not as par they were playing some months back I can compare their batting as they were against India in India completely failure they need to reshuffle if they want to go with Bazball or having anything positive against quality teams at home and in away matches around 400 could be good for them in first inning.

Today we have good show of top class batting from all top Australian batsmen with just khawaja is out on 17 and all others having decent runs on board right now inning run-rate is 4.15 and this partnership run-rate is above 5.6 which is amazing and better than English Bazball Steven Smith playing like Champions test batsman and heading for another hundred and Travis Head is also giving him good support as having 66 runs on just 60 balls now we have 71 overs and most chances we will have no complete 90 overs due to rain but still good handy batting give good chance to Australians in this second test match, and they can cross 400 to 450 tomorrow which will give them pole position for this test match and surely another headache to England which are completely struggling at home against arch-rivals in this series.

Joe Root was the best England bowler yesterday, followed (at some distance) by Josh Tongue. Root had figures of 8-1-19-2. And despite helpful conditions, the two main England seamers (James Anderson and Stuart Broad) failed to take any wickets after conceding a total of 101 runs. This actually shows the weakness in England lineup. They are badly missing a quality spinner who could support Root from the other end. BTW, Root has become more of an allrounder nowadays and during the first test also he managed to get some of the crucial wickets.
