Those who are in their 20s may not remember Kambli. I was a small kid at that time and back then scoring above a run a ball in the ODIs was considered as something special. He made a few good scores and the media hyped him all the way up to moon. Naturally, that made him arrogant and undisciplined. And to make matter worse, when his form declined he accused the other team members of caste discrimination. After that everything went downhill for him, and it has stayed that way till now.

There are no experienced players in the West Indies squad. I hope they will lose today's match as usual

I missed out in the match, but once i saw the West Indies squad i was confused on what to take of it as i could not identify a single player and i should have place a full house bet on Bangladesh to win the match. Will look forward for the next match to place the bet, the odds were low but against a strong Bangladesh team and in their own ground it is hard for the new West Indies players to compete.

This series can be said more like a practice match for Bangladesh as winning comfortably by 3-0. West Indies have a lot of challenges ahead and not sure how it would be resolved and when.

What you predicted has happened. I do not understand why the West Indies came to Bangladesh with such a broken team.  A whole series went by where they couldn't stand it properly.  Bangladesh should have played with their alternate team against West Indies.  It might have made the whole series more exciting.

This ODI series was very important. With a large number of matches from the 2020–23 ICC Cricket World Cup Super League called off or postponed, all the remaining matches have a lot of importance. In order to receive automatic qualification for the 2023 World Cup, West Indies need to finish within top 8. Right now they are at the last position, even below Ireland and Afghanistan. Last time also, they had to play the qualifier tournament (in 2018, for the CWC2019).

For this tour most of Sr players was not happy with board because they was asking for cancellation due to Covid-19 but West Indian Cricket Board was stick with their decision so they bring too many young players which is main cause of this thrashing defeat my understanding is now they are going more down and even out of this cricket in near future as there many problems appearing day by day.

In another series Afghanistan whitewash Ireland even they was also in good position but sadly fail to handle every time and lost this serious very badly.

It was a great match, Ireland were in the match till Paul Stirling was in the crease, unfortunately once he was dismissed i jumped on to place a bet on Afghanistan to win the match as i knew they will use their bowlers smartly and Rashid Khan as always was the main bowler picking crucial wickets and i was impressed with the captaincy how they managed their bowlers.

Why the West Indies board sent an inexperienced team, is it because of the current pandemic restrictions and playing other tournaments, if that is the case it is really unfortunate. The series was dominated by Bangladesh and it is good to see Shakib Al Hasan returning to the team and he did not miss much cricket either because of the pandemic.

Cricketing activity has resumed all over the world and international games are being scheduled everywhere. Now I don't know why the West Indies regular players made themselves unavailable for the Bangladesh tour. The board can't force anyone to be a part of the squad and it is their own choice. But if the team fails to qualify for the world cup, then these same players will be affected in terms of lack of exposure.
