I'm curious do we have a wiki somewhere that explains how to use arbitrary transactions?

Check the API document listed in the OP. There's some stuff in there.

Looks like QORA is possibly experiencing a slow pump.  It's about time to skim a little profit for those who have caught the dumps and have significantly bought up a decent stake.

Otherwise, if you are new to QORA, now might be a good time to buy.  The price might fall again, but if a whale has good steam then we might have seen the low.  It's better to get in before a real pump takes place or just accept that 16 sats is low, even if it temporarily goes lower.

Small-time hodlers should continue to hold or buy a little more.

Bter was at 16 sats this morning, and we've already broken 20 today.

Called it!

A Personal Quote on BTT from 2011:
"I'd be willing to make a moderate "investment" if the value of the BTC went below $2.00.  Otherwise I'll just have to live with my 5 BTC and be happy. :/"  ...sigh.  If only I knew.

I need more BTC to buy more Qora!!! Man, this dev is the best, I mean completely honest and trustfull. He has not taken a single line of the NXT code, Qora is a brand new cryptocurrency. He codes far better and faster than all the rest 2nd gen cryptos. He is also communicative and always present behind the scenes, building something that makes Qora even more embellished.

BAM!   Grin

Code:
This will allow you to create an order for Qora/asset or asset/asset. This way you will be able to directly trade one asset for
another asset. The fee of the transaction will still have to be paid in Qora.

Edit:  ...there is something about dividends and multi-payments too...

Yet again NXT is trumped!

To give everyone an idea of how assets are going to work in Qora I created this document that explains the basics.
https://docs.google.com/document/d/1fEM-zDwelHxL4RuwelCZThu1zhFeRThUnH3z01KlowU/edit?pli=1

Creating and transferring assets are finished. Creating orders will probably be finished tomorrow. I don't expect the rest to take very long.

I hope Qora doesnt mind. This is what is in the document. This is so freaking exciting!

Quote

Qora Assets
Everything in this document is subject to change and should not be interpreted as final.

1. Issuing a new asset
An asset can be created using a new transaction.

An asset should have the following properties:
Issuer (The issuer of the asset)
Name (The name of the asset)
Description (The description of the asset)
Quantity (The quantity that has to be issued)
Divisible (Whether the asset will be divisible or not)

Each asset will be given an ID when the asset is confirmed. The ID’s will start from 1. For simulation purposes Qora will be seen as the asset with ID: 0.

Because an asset will be given an ID the name of the asset does not have to be unique. It will be advised to search assets by ID instead of by name.

Based on the divisibility the quantity will be limited so that the asset can not become worth more then Qora itself.

Just like Qora a divisible asset will be able to have up to 8 decimal places.

2. Transferring an asset

To transfer an asset a new transaction will have to be made that will allow an account to send a given amount of a given asset to another address.

Because you will also be able to send Qora using this transaction the default payment transaction will be removed in the future.
3. Creating an order
To create decentralized trading of assets a new transaction will have to be made that will allow the user to create an order.

An order should have the following properties:
Have (The asset that you want to trade)
Want (The asset that you want to receive)
Amount (How much you want to trade)
Ratio (At which ratio do you want to trade)

This is the main reason as to why Qora will be simulated as asset 0. This will allow you to create an order for Qora/asset or asset/asset. This way you will be able to directly trade one asset for another asset. The fee of the transaction will still have to be paid in Qora.
4. Canceling an order
A transaction should be created that allows the user to cancel an existing order.
5. Paying dividend / Multi-payment
To pay stakeholders a dividend or something similar there can be two approaches.
5.1 Specific dividend transaction
This would allow the issuer to pay out a dividend for a certain amount of any asset.

The good thing about this is that the transaction would be small as you don’t have to make individual payments to each stakeholder.

The bad thing about this is that this could also be transformed into a multi-transfer transaction which would have more purposes.
5.2 Multi-payment transaction (most likely)
This would allow a user to send multiple payments to multiple addresses in a single transaction.

The good thing about this is that it can also be used for other purposes. It would also be possible to make multiple payments of multiple assets in one transaction.

The bad thing about this is that it would require more space in a block as each payment would have to be defined individually.

I think "colored coins" idea has been around for a while, even wrt bitcoin. I think NXT was the first to implement it, and a large amount of NXT transactions are AE transactions.

I could be wrong. There is coloredcoins.org but I have no idea who implemented this idea first.

I don't know if NXT AE supports asset/asset exchange directly. If not then Qora is the first to implement that (among other things).

That is true. The NXT AE exchange you buy/sell always with NXT.

What other things?

NXT doesnt have dividends yet so would be great to get there before them

Does NXT have voting and name exchange? Qora is already ahead of NXT (by asset/asset exchange & dividends).

Imagine Qora with a great GUI.

boom! TOP 1 in market cap - bitcoin is doomed (with the right marketing of course)
