Lorient is going to be a quite difficult opponent for Monaco to beat. It is an away game which makes things more difficult for them. Lorient's having a much better season the previous one is also adding an extra difficulty to this game. Lorient are only two points behind Monaco in the standings as well. It is like Lorient and Strasbourg changed the roles in this season by the way. 

Monaco are still not able to enter any title competition but they can at least fight for one of the Champions League tickets. They need to show their ambition by winning this kind of games and hopefully they will beat Lorient here maybe by a small margin.

The match of Lorient vs Monaco is going to be one of the most important matches of Ligue 1. The difference between these two teams is only 2 points. If Monaco can win this match, they will be able to move up to third place in the table. On the other hand, if Lorient wins, they will be able to move up to fourth place in the table.

Monaco's performance after the World Cup break is not as good as expected. They won both matches though. But it was very difficult for Monaco to win match two. It was just a mistake in betting and not the fault of the PSG team, because PSG only needs to win with full points when they see their opponents are a little weaker than them. So there's no need to sacrifice more effort from the players to score more goals which in the end also get three points and it's the same thing when they win with the fewest goals they score

In the Ligue1 PSG is obviously going for the win in every match. And they have the luxury to do that because they are the best team in the league. And even if they do lose one or two matches, that is not going to impact them too much because they know they have the capability of getting back to first place on the table again.

One thing PSG does is that they do tend to underestimate their opponent sometimes. And it causes them a few problems against weaker opponents. You know, against Lens, PSG did not have a few players available. That’s why they lost. But in the next match, PSG won, it was not a league match. But I believe they will be able to win the next league match against Angers.

Seems I'm going to try pay attention to some of the picks here as I failed miserably in my Coupe matches yesterday. I know cups are never quite the same situation as league games because of different stakes, but usually in France you feel that the favorites are way too strong for lower leagues (and yet upsets happen all the time).

We always have the feeling that a team playing in a superior league is always better than a team playing in a lower one until we see the opposite result happening. It will be more shocking when a top team in the first league is defeated by unknown one!

After World Cup 2022, as a big club with many star players joined the tournament, they have more impacts from World Cup 2022 than smaller clubs. I believe PSG will return to winning habit soon, a few weeks after World Cup. Messi returned to Paris and started his training too and other players will have better fitness in coming weeks.

Furthermore in my personal opinion I believe that PSG will score at least 3 goals to show their champions mentality, and in the end comfortably win the match too but if they fail to win then that’ll be a cause of concern for their coach and their fan’s.

That is so because in France to the home team is given a big advantage in the odds no matter that they,Strasbourg are near the bottom while Lens is fighting to win the title.If this was to happen in Premier League or Italy Serie A for example the odd would not have been more than 1.7 at a maximum for such game.I also we should take profit from this error margin from the bookies and bet on Lens to win the game or at least a draw no bet if we would be happy with a 1.45 odd and knowing that most likely Lens will not lose and in the case of a draw we would get our money back.
