RESULTS:

Liverpool 3-0 Brentford   
West Ham United 2-3 Leeds United


Liverpool swept past Brentford but even though they are in 2nd place in the Premier League table they are 11 points behind 1st placed Manchester City. Liverpool have one game in hand which means they could go 8 points behind if they win it but Manchester City seem certain to win the title again but anything could happen with around 16 games of the season remaining to be played.

West Ham stay in 4th but failed to strengthen their position in the Premier League table by failing to take any points from Leeds who are 15th and 9 points above the relegation zone.

Liverpool has come back with their good performance I would say and yes though Man City is really far from 2nd place, Liverpool is really challenging 3rd, 4th and 5th place. Expected West Ham to win the match against Leeds yesterday and move up to 2nd place with good points if Liverpool lost, but unfortunately lost with 2:3. Seems to be a heavy competition between 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th place in the table. However, Man City yes assuring of the cup. Lets see.

If it works for them and keeps them in the Premier League then we all will say it was a tactical masterpiece by Howe but if it fails plenty will criticise. Newcastle have the funds so they will try their best to avoid relegation.

Things aren't looking good up there; they're not getting the results they need to stay out of the relegation zone, and despite the fact that they have some talented players, I still believe Howe was not the right man for the job, and I can see why Aston Villa snatched him up. Only a few weeks ago, they were knocked out of the FA Cup by a second-tier club, which makes you question why. Only Big Sam has the ability to save them at this point.

Newcastle avoided relegation last season, but they are already looking like a championship club this season.

Good result for Liverpool I didn't watch the game after an awful display from my team Chelsea yesterday I'm fully focused on AFCON now. My club is a joke.

It is very difficult to win 12 games in a row in the most competitive league in the world, even in computer games. With City, we see once again how important the coach and the system are in the long run. It is not normal for the team in the 2nd place of the league to play football so badly and be crushed. City is that good... The struggle of Kovacic and Bernardo in the midfield really gave a different pleasure to the match. Kevin De Bruyne was great in this match. Can we consider City as champions already?

Yes, it's like a competition for second place between Liverpool and Chelsea, 8 or 11 points is very much different for both teams to defeat the 1st position. If we have seen Chelsea in the last game, I believe Liverpool is the biggest obstacle for the city because they have 2 the same losses to date. at least this is what makes the English league very competitive from others until week 38.

Too hard to say with Burnley and Watford.  They’re both inconsistent and it’s a mid week fixture.  Watford had a short break but Burnley didn’t play vs Leicester due to the fixture getting postponed.  So Burnley players are rested.  It could give them an edge in the second half of the match.  Watford also got 4 players injured a couple others out on international duty.  I think Watford could park the bus here and try to get what they can at the counter.  HT draw at 2.11 looks good here imo.

The reverse fixture was 1 - 1 but I can’t see Brighton scoring against Chelsea after seeing how they defended against City tbh.  Yeah KDB got one in but I don’t think Brighton could do the same...  This feels like a win for Chelsea to nil.  But a safer bet would be to go for Brighton team totals under 0.5 goals at 2.25 or something.

Chelsea is playing poorly at the moment, and with Kepa and Alonso in the team, you can be sure that the opponent will score. Brighton is playing far better than Chelsea at the moment, and Chelsea has played a lot of games in a short period of time.

To be honest, I think Brighton over 0.5 goals is a good bet.

They must play from now on otherwise I can't even imagine their schedules in the future. Son seems to be injured at Tottenham. But they can still play great thanks to Conte's right game plan. I expect to watch a competitive match first of all. We can see goals from both sides and at the end there is a slight chance for Tottenham to win this match also.

Since kepa is poor in goal as you've said, the best bet would be over2.5.
Don't be scared you can take the risk, still pretty sure Chelsea won't want to loss this game.
Staying in the top four will be at the back of their minds....goal goal and over 2,5 is my final prediction.

Liverpool probably still have a completely different opinion on this matter The most unpleasant thing about such winning streaks is that they usually tend to end sometime and the completion of a winning streak does not always have a positive effect on the morale of the team. Of course, I do not mean that this can necessarily happen with a team like Manchester City and there do not seem to be any prerequisites for this, but still do not forget that such precedents take place. Moreover, there are still 16 rounds ahead, including a face-to-face meeting between Liverpool and Manchester City, which may make changes to the tournament layouts.

Is Tottenham ready for the match against Leicester city seeing the covid issues surrounding  white hart lane stadium. But if by chance the match should take place then we should be seeing goals from both sides. It's either Vardy salvage a point for Leicester or iheanacho breaks hotspurs back. Son is on injury that might likely last till February. Much loads would be on Harry Kane or Dele Alli

First is not spurs that have covid issues is because of arsenal that they cancel that game on arsenal. Iheanacho  is not playing because he is in AFCON talking about deli Alli there is no load in his shoulder because he will be in the bench.he is not an important player for spurs anymore.

A lot of the match's results will depend on 3 players - Harry Kane, Vardy, and Son. As these are the important players for these teams. Kane especially will play an important part for the Spurs and Vardy has been the guy scoring almost all the goals for Leicester. I hope that the match doesn't get suspended or postponed as this will be an exciting match to see.

Chelsea now two points behind Liverpool and Liverpool is behind two matches.  Assuming they win those matches, they’d be ahead of Chelsea by 8 points.  Meh..  I have a side bet with Trofo that Chelsea finishes higher than Liverpool for 30 bucks.    I guess I’ll be giving it another month or so before I pay him.

I think Aston villa will suit him well,if for nothing having an old friend as the gaffer in Steven Gerrard, another thing is that the Aston villa faithfuls will love him because he comes with magic in his feet,and the pressure won't be much for him at Aston villa to always deliver just like it will be in other clubs like spurs and arsenal, but I wanted him to come to Tottenham Hotspur because they are more competitive than Aston villa.

Coutinho's move from Barcelona to Aston Villa was heavily influenced by Gerrard's involvement as coach. We both know that Coutinho and Gerrard were once a team at Liverpool and now they are also reunited in the same team although with different statuses. Tottenham are more competitive, that's true but are Tottenham interested in Coutinho? If they are interested in him, why don't they send a proposal to Barcelona?

I think Coutinho still deserves to play in the Premier League regardless of which team wants him, but it looks like he still loves Liverpool because he made the absolutely ridiculous decision in his career to move to Barcelona. Now he must manage to regain his best form with Aston Villa.

Chelsea let their supporters down by drawing with Brighton yesterday. There were so many people who believed that they would be able to win this match this time. But they couldn't secure their 1-0 score advantage and it ended by 1-1. I accept that Brighton are one of the toughest teams to defeat away. But at least Chelsea should have been able to do this. By this result, Liverpool can consolidate their position in the standings much stronger now. Chelsea are likely to end this season at the third place as long as they keep going like this.

The close relationship between gerrard and coutinho made the transfer finally happen, even compared to aston villa, actually arsenal was the first to submit a proposal to barcelona to sign coutinho this January, and as far as I know, coutinho is one step away from being a player the gunner, but before the transfer materialized, aston villa sent a proposal to barcelona and the value of the proposal was not much different from arsenal, but because of the emotional bond that had existed between gerrard and coutinho when they were liverpool players, of course, coutinho would prefer aston villa over arsenal, in my opinion, if aston villa was not coached by gerrard, I believe coutinho will be an arsenal player now.
Btw now Gerrard is again trying to take advantage of his closeness with former Liverpool players to want to join Aston Villa and it is reported that Suarez, who is an Atletico Madrid player, is the next target for Gerrard to join Aston Villa this season.

Chelsea's draw against Brighton Albion has left them very far away from leaders Manchester city and even they have to settle for being in third place in the standings behind Liverpool who still have two games left to play, we don't know what happened. with Chelsea at the moment where they are often drawn to mid-table teams making it difficult for them to compete with Liverpool and Manchester city in the race for the Premier League title, we can say that the chances for the Premier League title man this season are closed though, Minecraft The Londoners only focus on the FA Cup and Champions League, including the English league cup match where they will determine the winner between Liverpool and Arsenal.

Chelsa is continuing with its poor performance. What happened to Chelsa. It has just own one match out of recent 5 matches and its really disappointing to see a top best team in the table performing very poorly. Since it has performed well in the beginning of the tournament, Chelsa is able to be on top. Soon Arsanal or West Ham will take over its 2nd place and that's not too far I am sure if Chelsa is continuing with current performance.

The first half of the match has ended, the current score is still 1-1, the game of the two teams in my opinion is quite balanced but tottenham are able to create more chances to trouble the leicester city defense so far, leicester first took the lead through a goal scored by Daka in minute 24th, after a goal down to make the tottenham rise and continue to attack the leicester defense, fortunately for tottenham they were able to reply in the 38th minute through a goal scored by harry kane by utilizing assists from harry winks.

So far manchester united has more possession of the ball but Brentford was about to score, Brentford is much better at causing real danger to the opponent so I believe Brentford can win this game if they continue like this and since don't make the mistake in defense, their attacks against manchester unted leave an opening in their defense and cristiano ronaldo can take advantage of that if he has the opportunity

I was switching within stations, watching the AFCON and this game same time, but in the first half, Brentford played really well, was expecting them to get a goal and make things tough for MUFC since but MUFC has been the lucky side with two goals at the moment. In this second half, Brentford is not looking like the team that played the first 45, hopefully MUFC can hold on to the win and secure the three points.
