One loss wouldn't ruin Arsenal's form. Arteta has built a really strong team for this season. New transfers are able to show the expected level of performance so far as well. Manchester United were the biggest challenge for them after those comfortable matches and they failed I'm afraid. But Manchester United are playing much more different against the biggest teams of the league these days. First Liverpool now Arsenal. Maybe they will even do the same to Manchester City also in Old Trafford.

My point is that we still need to see Arsenal's performance against the other big teams of the league later. It will help us have a better idea about how successful they can be this season. So far they have been much stronger than their performance in the previous season. Fans are very hopeful about their team to finish the season in top four at least.

I agree with you; if they are to be taken seriously this season, they must perform well against the top six teams; that is how we will know if they are title contenders or merely pretenders; so far, they have only failed one test; they still have five more top teams to show us more. Unfortunately, Manchester City is the only club that appears to be dangerous and fighting to keep that trophy.

Even though Antony did not play the full game, he scored a brilliant goal on his debut. What a player he will be for them. As for Arsenal, they have a young side that have a bright future if their manager Arteta can hold the team together.

Was he really that good, aside from the goal he scored? I didn't watch the game, only the highlights, and I didn't see much of him in it, so maybe I missed something.

It was a brilliant goal on his debut and he will be a brilliant player for them. If you view the play of Antony for Ajax online you will see why. He was not in the game much but when it mattered he was there to give them the lead. If Manchester City, Chelsea or Liverpool purchased Anthony they would be title favourites but if Tottenham, Manchester United or Arsenal purchased him they would be top 4 favourites. Manchester United should finish in the top 4 this season.

Fortunately' for Arsenal you mean?    I was starting to think that Arsenal was looking like legit title contenders, I still kinda do but seeing them loss in their toughest test so far in the season, I'm slowly thinking 'wait' and not to get carried away.  But then again what did everybody expect with match played at Old Trafford?  So of course United had the more likely chance of winning it.  I had it 2 - 1 for United in our EPL pool.

After losing to Dinamo Zagreb in the Champions League last night he is no longer Chelsea's coach. This was very sudden honestly. I don't know why Todd Boehly didn't want to give him more time. You shouldn't sack a coach just for getting unsatisfying results for a few weeks. We are talking about a coach which made the team champions in the Champions League not much time ago. All teams can have good and bad times. Tuchel's credit shouldn't have been this much low for the team. Besides we are only at the beginning of the season. This is too early to make a decision about whether to sack a coach or not. I hope this doesn't hurt the team much more while they are in search of a new coach.

You shouldn't sack a coach just for getting unsatisfying results for a few weeks. We are talking about a coach which made the team champions in the Champions League not much time ago. All teams can have good and bad times. Tuchel's credit shouldn't have been this much low for the team. Besides we are only at the beginning of the season. I think that this decision would have been different if Abramovich was still Chelsea's owner. I don't think that he would have taken such action very early. But I still respect the choice of the team now. Pochettino is a pretty good option among the managers who are free agent at the moment. The problem is that it is really difficult for Chelsea to reach an agreement with one of the most successful managers who are actively managing a team at the moment.

Therefore I think that it would be the best for them to sign a deal with Pochettino quickly. Pochettino was already rumoured about returning to the Premier League before the season started. This is a good chance for him to do so. He knows this league and Chelsea very well. I don't have someone else coming to my mind for now. I'd have said Zidane also but I think there is no way they can convince him now.

I think, Chelsea president want to act like Manchester united president but I don't think they will get it right in this season because Chelsea coach has sold out all their potential players that made Chelsea strong last season to another team. Sacked the coach at this point, I don't think it will bring good result to the team than to make their players confuse more because it will take them a long time before they can fully understand the new coach.

This came as a bit of a surprise to me. I wonder why they would let him go after losing their first champions league match. The decision by the management to let him go is perhaps the best thing for the club. After spending a whole lot in the transfer window and making some major improvements in the club. All teams can have good and bad times; that is true and I’m still baffled as why he was let go suddenly.

I don't think that the main problem was Tuchel for Chelsea. It was clearly related to not having the needed kind of a striker in the team. After Lukaku and Werner both left the team their attacking line weakened quite much. They waited too long for signing a striker and they got unpleasant results meanwhile. Finally they have signed Aubameyang to create a solution for the productivity problem of the team. But after losing one match they quickly took action to sack Tuchel.

I guess that they won't continue with an assistant manager for a long time. I remember what they achieved with Di Matteo in the past but it doesn't always happen of course.    Pochettino is the most likely candidate for the position and I guess that they would announce him very soon.

The new owners trusted Tuchel with £250 million worth transfers but they sacked him after just 6 Premier League games and after the defeat in their first Champions League game. I think he deserved a lot more time than 7 games and I think his sacking was premature by the new owners.



Tuchel will receive £13 million in compensation while his backroom staff will receive £2 million. The fans are fuming, they wanted Tuchel to be given much more time and they are not exactly happy that Graham Potter (current Brighton manager) is in talks to become their next manager.

Its one of the toughest game of the week, intensity was high and both teams gave it their best. United came prepared for arsenal they were physical and tried to stop arsenal from playing and gaining balance in the early first half, it wasn't easy for them either. Manchester United has improved in their recent matches and its a good sign for them. The manager is trying to put the team together.

Manchester United is very good. They have improved on several levels and I hope they are consistent for this season. Manchester United's change was proven, Eriksen. A player who was in doubt when he came to Manchester United because of the events of Euro 2020. But he continues to prove that he is fine and was instrumental in Erik Ten Hag scheme against Arsenal.

It looks like we will have to wait for a long time for the matches of this week to be played. Because all of them were postponed after Queen Elizabeth II passed away yesterday. The matches of next week might also be postponed depending on the duration of mourning.



Brighton - Crystal Palace match has already been postponed which was going to be played next week. However I've found out that the reason for it is different. After some rail strikes in the UK recently there have been some travel issues and this match has been affected by that too as a result. This is good for Brighton in fact as Graham Potter has left the team to join Chelsea. Andrew Crofts is the caretaker manager for now but maybe they might use this time to find a new manager.

Honestly, I don't think there is anything special about this guy at all. He was just selected as a result of the fact that he has a fair amount of experience in the English Premier League. Besides that, I do not see any reason as to why they would choose him, when they had Zidane or Pochettino in mind. I am really at a loss. As far as I am concerned, there isn't anything positive that can be said about Chelsea's decision. I just hope that they made the right choice because at this moment it doesn't seem like one.

Of course there isn't any very special thing about Graham Potter. He doesn't have any impressive achievement in his career in the end. But I just want to be patient to see how good impact he will make in the team. The Salzburg match is only a few days away from us. Considering that they lost to Dinamo Zagreb this is a tougher match for them. We will see how strong the team will be able to play. Aubameyang came here for Tuchel maybe but he is a very professional striker. He would abide by Potter's system well also. If they win this match then this might be a green light to their upcoming Premier League matches as well.

It is still the beginning of the season so Chelsea can make up for their bad results so far in time. Potter just needs to find the right game plan for the team to improve the morale also.

I don't like the way Tuchel was fired as manager, but if Potter's hiring turned out to be for the right reasons in the long run, the club would benefit. Potter might not have been fortunate enough to coach a big team, but making a significant step in your coaching career does not automatically make you a better coach than those coaching smaller teams. This is Potter's first big project experience, and in terms of tactical talent, I believe he is more gifted than Tuchel. In contrast to Tuchel, who prefers to play more defensive football, Potter plays some of the best attacking football in Europe. By the way,

Todd wanted a coach who would be more involved in player development and assist the team in finding the best DOF before the January transfer window opened. We saw how Chelsea suffered in the recently closed transfer window due to a lack of DOF, and all of our top targets were taken from us.

Tuchel informed the Board that he would refrain from participating in extracurricular activities and that he would not assist the club in obtaining a DOF since he detests dealing with one.
