Hello and thank you for your interest in joining us. But first, you should have read the rules. You do not have the required rank at the moment, although we don't have a Hebrew translator.

Having this in mind, you may start by filling the application form and do some translations, then we will decide if we make an exception.

What baffles me is that your account was created in March 2022 and you have only 3 posts.

I created this account long time ago but I didn't work here that was my big mistake. But I dont want to make it More bigger mistake of my life. Beacose everytime life don't give opportunity. That's the reason I want to use my prime time to gaining knlowge. I think that's the great opportunity by translate in posts it give me knlowge. That's the reason I want to start. I found my old account in my PC password manager that's the reason I didn't create new account. I want to start new journey with old account. That's the reason I already have acount that's the reason I didn't want to creat new one.

Having this in mind, you may start by filling the application form and do some translations, then we will decide if we make an exception.

Heads-up: I deleted Akuma_ from the list of translators and also his translations from OP. It turned out this user made translations using automated tools, breaking forum rules.

At same time, he organized a fake giveaway trying to farm for merits. Obviously, this led to have him red tagged.

I am not sure, but there are similarities in actions of YarchaBeatz with Akuma_.

Akuma_ literally jumped on doing translations for AOBT and thought he will farm merits from me, therefore instead of focusing on translations made by AOBT he insisted on doing translations of my topics. After discussing with a user knowing Japanese language perfectly, we found out that Akuma_ used automated translation tools. He also selected an exotic language, hoping he will not get caught. I contacted him and told him that automated translations are not allowed, but he never replied my PM. Later, he started spamming AOBT with his giveaway. Seeing he is active again, I sent him another PM. He replied, saying he will revisit his translations. Since then he gave no sign anymore, excpeting for saying inside his giveaway thread that he is practically a scammer, lol.

Now YarchaBeatz follows the same pattern: he appears as a Newbie, just like Akuma_. He wants to do translations also in an exotic language, hoping nobody can check if his translations are good nor not. From all the topics from the list I gave him above, he chooses one of mine. Akuma_ knew that Porf or I were sending 1 merit to the translations done inside by AOBT but also knew I am usually sending more merits to someone translating my topics, hence his focus on translating topics of mine. Now YarchaBeatz does the same. In the link I have him are 41 topics and from all those 41 he chooses a topic of mine -- there was 41:1 chances for this to happen, lol. Furthermore, he even mentions Akuma_ in one of his earlier posts.

I hope I'm wrong, but his behavior looks like Akuma_'s to me.

I did not approve his translation because he did not even announce me before that he intends to translate a topic of mine. He just presented the translation as being done, not even bothering to read the rules from my OP. Even if he is not Akuma_, his translation is not approved for this reason and also because my policy is to not collaborate with translators which are below Full Members.

In any case, Akuma_'s profile is now useless to him.

This is what I was also intuiting, and that is why I wrote after its translation, asking for the opinion of the members of the local forum on the quality of their work. It is impossible for us to value works in languages such as Hebrew or Japanese ourselves, but we have a responsibility when someone uses our name or we merit a post.

Our goal was to bring together the best translators in the forum, considered the best for their previous work, and although I think flexibility is a positive feature, the exception cannot become the norm.

That's just sad, him exploiting your generosity like this. I now understand why you guys have such strict rank requirements

Yes, that is the setup that we have agreed up, so everyone is in the loop, including Gazeta and working together to close the gap on those topic that needed to be translated in our local board.

Gazeta, told you from the beginning this akuma guy is not for real.  Yet first you chose to publish his work which surprised me a little bit cause I told you it didn't sound natural and was definitely tool/AI based. But whatever.

This other dude is also him, I am convinced. They both use "Beacose" instead of because, which really is giving it away. Too bad people go through such great lengths just to get some merit. Thankfully it's often easy enough to spot these fake clowns right away.

Well... when you saw his "work" wasn't the beginning... it was after he made some translations (only a few, fortunately)... At first, I acted with good faith... But after you told me about his translations, I did not give him any credit anymore. He even made 2 more translations afterwards, for one of LV's threads and also for icopress, but I did not announce them about those shitty translations, as they were useless.
I still hoped that, being new, maybe he does not know the forum rules, so I informed him by a PM, asking him to revisit his translations. Instead of doing it, he started that scam giveaway, which led to the red tags he received.

Regarding the translation of the topic: Ambulance - Campaign - Ukraine. Is the campaign still active and raising funds? I see there haven't been any updates to the thread since 2024...
