Remember that posting the ANN in your respective local boards is a great responsibility that endures even if you decide to quit or you get kicked after a voting: I mean, we are asking even old members to update their OPs when there are major changes, to avoid the duplication of topics.

This is true... And, just as a thought... perhaps it would help more if the translations would be made only in the languages which have standalone local boards...? This would mean to not take into consideration translations in Ukrainian and Urdu, for example.

You are right, but if they want to translate it in their local threads I would leave the choice in their hands. They could even re-post it every time there are changes (if it's not forbidden, considered a duplicate), as the original post would've been lost along the thread.

Other than that, I thought about adding one more (and last ) topic to our To Do list... I am mentioning it just to not forget about it, since it's a valuable history lessson: Satoshi's lesson, by theymos. It is very short and shouldn't put any pressure on the translators, although many will be free in August... What do you / other AOBTers think?

I have already done the Filipino translation of the thread “Talksearch.io - Advanced Bitcointalk Search Engine”, so rather than making a new topic it would be better if I update the original post (OP) and changelog that would highlight the new features of v1.0.5, in that manner everyone would be able to see the latest version and the complete team credits. However, expect the update within the next few days.

I have a question about the topic on the welcome message. Does anybody know if it is going to be implemented anytime soon, or was it just an idea that didn't see the light? Because I hope that now, with all these translations,  some new members will read that welcome message in our local boards, but it would be much more useful as the welcome message it was meant to be.

Mmmm I'm not so sure about it. Due to some personal issues I'm also taking a short vacation... that's why I'm taking a little longer than usual to answer and update the lists these days
