Above are the games for today, which match are you looking forward to and predictions. My interest is more on the Nigeria match and I won't be missing it for anything.

The Nigeria vs Libya match is the most important game for me and the game time is cool since it will be played around 5pm Nigerian time. I'm also looking forward to seeing the other game between Benin and Rwanda because they are the teams in the group D with Nigeria, since Nigeria is on top of the group with 4 points and Benin is second with 3 points, a win for Nigeria will see them retain the top spot with 7 points while the PO outcome of the game between Benin and Rwanda will determine the position of both teams in the table.

The schedule for this game is quite okay and good as you have mentioned but what I still have some concerns around would with the super eagles because they still have a very uncoordinated pattern of play, they are yet to be really definite with their strategy and patterns and just as mentioned by CryptopreneurBrainboss, the fact that these players have varrying philosophy by virtue of the Leagues in which they aee playing is a problem as they will time to make adjustments which in most cases they don't have.

If it were possible Nigeria could look inwards to their homes based players and see if and see how to build a team from them such that they may not really have to depend so much on the international players who they have to call all the time and still not getting just the best results just yet, they will go a long way helping them build a better team.

I don't think the Super Eagles should have any difficulty in winning their game against Libya being that in their last three meetings, Nigeria have been having the lead and in their present Group D, Libya only has one point from two games and are at the bottom so even without the services of Victor Osimhen, the Super Eagles should comfortably defeat them.
 I want to believe that Austin Eguavon, the caretaker coach of the Super Eagles won't be pressured into making any wrong decisions concerning who to start and who to keep as substitute because another factor that will ensure they get good results is how he makes his selections.

Nigerian Super Eagles has not played three games in the qualifiers games that are going on. I don't know where you played the third game. Super Eagles has only played 2 games in the Nations Cup qualifiers and win 1 game then draw the second one. They won Benin Republic 3-0 and draw with Rwanda. And the full name of the Super Eagles coach is Augustine Eguavoen and not Austin Eguavon. If you are not conversat with Africa football then you can discuss the European games..

Since you are so quick to show how little you understand English, I'd gladly help you. If you noticed (which I doubt you did) I said their last three meetings and never mentioned that those meetings were in this ongoing tournament. Our Super Eagles team is made of very professional players, I don't see us lacking in any way and losing against Libya is not a supposed to be an option to mention.

I will say the Super Eagles have the best squad in Africa for now, just that most of the coaches we are having don’t know how to make use of those players, or maybe the players don’t really want to perform well when it comes to playing for their country, because with the squad the Super Eagles are having, we are not supposed to be scared of any African country, we should be able to conveniently win any African country we are playing against, but things don’t always go well for the Super Eagles.
 
I will be placing my bet on them to win the match. Libya shouldn’t give them a difficult time in the match with the players we are having, but let’s just see how it goes, because I never expected them to draw against Rwanda in their last match, but they surprised me.

Looking at the squad and how almost all the players have made a name for themselves individually in the world of football is a good feeling that the Super Eagles of Nigeria have the best individual players in all over African countries; but what baffles me is when you see them playing as if they are not interested in the games, they do lose some matches that you will never expect to lose, and that is why we are not getting the high rating we deserve from FIFA.
On the other hand, the coaches are also contributing to our poor performance in the field through their selfish team selection and the players they are calling to represent Nigeria, but this time, I can see a fair selection process, and I am having good hope on the team this time because we have players with individual talent, and I can see that they are getting to be used to each other.

I am expecting more than three goals in today's match. Nigeria to win.

Omg! I guess I have to spell everything out, don't I?   Well, in the 2018 AFCON , on the 16th of October, Nigeria defeated Libya by 3 goals to 2. Prior to that, three days before, which was on the 13th of October they already thrashed the same Libya at home 4-0 in the same competition... While the third beating was earlier in the month of January of the same year 2018 at the African Nations championship..dude! Take a chill pill. True. Victor Osimhen may not be in action with his teammates but I don't think that will be a problem for the Super Eagles. Lately there's being this synergy about them that if a player I'd absent, they try to not let it show and I'm sure they will put up a great performance today especially as it is in their home turf..

Victor Osimhen isn't only the current Nigeria super start player we have in the super eagle team this time around, Ademola Lookman is there with couple of other players, but Victor Osimhen is undoubtedly Nigerian most important striker at the moment, However his absent in this game won't actually matter that much because I'm not seeing Libya as a threatening opponent team, for our there striker victor osimhen to be most needed in this match.

Looking at the starting line-up I'm very confident about Nigeria wining this game tonight without Victor Osimhen in our frontline.

Hey woman, you edit your comment and all these are defend mechanism. If not my comments, you wouldn't go into research and brought out the 6 years past games. Your statement in the first comment which I quoted was not specific and it was general and that made me to quote you. But now you have specify it. Next time don't play smart game.
Well Nigeria might win or not, though they are dominating Libya now but they have not scored any goals.  And Benin Republic has scored 1 goal against Rwanda. Super Eagles are dominating but that is not a guarantee for them to win.

True. Victor Osimhen may not be in action with his teammates but I don't think that will be a problem for the Super Eagles. The match has started and from what i see so far in this game, no doubt they are playing a beautiful game. Even with the absence of Osimhen, Boniface is still a good replacement. Who observed the tight defense coming from the Libya team, their attack and midfield are terrible but how they manage to keep the defense choked from the Super Eagles penetrating is unbelievable. I hope we don not under rate them this time because from the goings if our players don't go harder in this second half, then probably the match might end in draw, obviously i don't see them having a chance of scoring facing our defense line.

Do we have anything impressive to say about the performance of the Super Eagles in the first half? All they did was to give the visitors enough time to hang on the ball and if this Libya guys have any chance I believe they'll utilize it and that would be a problem for the Eagles. Is as if we can't control the ball down to the opposition 18 yard box and get a goal, I think the wingers need to do more as well as the left and right back, their crosses are not impressive enough and it makes the attacker look weak in the box. Hopefully the second half they can get something positive.

Please don't get disappointed if the super Eagles don't score a single goal, I've watched this super Eagles for a while now, outside the individual talents they have and fact that they are all European base footballers, the coach haven't still been able to blend them together, they play on individual brilliance not as a team. What the super Eagles need is a touch of some homebased players that are hungry to be at spotlight mixing them with European based guys, there and then you will see the spark that will come out of that mixture.

I think what the NFF needs to do is to learn how to groom players from a long time coming at a young age, and not wait for already made players that will just appear in the tournament just to fulfill all righteousness and at the end, go home trophy-less.

 Right on our own turf we are being rigged! I still need the ref and linesman to explain to me how Ademola's goal was offside because he timed he runs and wasn't off when Chukwueze gave him the pass. Well, if they had played their game well and not throw away chances, we won't be depending on this to at least get something.
 Obviously, Nigeria is the dominant side and if we could do something, we'd get goals and three points.

The stadium is in jubilation. Nigeria just scored against Lybia in the 86th minutes. Dele-Bashiru scored a goal to give us the lead, I was fuming that we hadn’t scored against Libya since the first half. Libya’s defense has been really strong, they made a small error in the defense that’s why Bashiru was able to get the goal in. Again Iwobi has proved to me that he should not be a starter for the Super Eagles.

They robbed the Super Eagle a goal few minutes ago, that wasn't an offside and it's so shameful to watch the officials make such wrong decision, that would've put Nigeria ahead of their opponent but thankfully the cancer goal have been justified few minutes later. Nigeria is supposed to be two or three goals ahead by now, for christ sake they're playing against Libya, not a top African nation so i wonder why it took them so long to score, they better defend this goal or try to add another one again cause a draw against Libya at home ground would seem like a lose and fans would payed their way to the stadium from different locations across the country would be very disappointed, I'm not really impressed with a 1-0 scoreline currently but then it would give them 3 points if it ends that way and much better than a draw. I wish my favourite Super Eagle player ( Victor Osimhen) was featured in the match instead of Boniface but it's good Lookman was in the match and he even scored but was cancelled.

Dele-Bashiru have just scored a goal to give the Super Eagles the lead less than three minutes before the end of the normal time in the game between Nigeria vs Libya. Nigeria have been the better side but was been resisted by the Libyan defense from getting a goal. Few minutes before Dele-Bashiru scored, Atalanta attacker Ademola Lookman's goal was harshly ruled out as offside. I think the Super Eagles of Nigeria are going to get win this one even when their visitors are to find a late equalizer.

Lol that was a clear off-side. When Lookman scored the off-side goal, I told my brother that Nigerians are going to use this as a compensation and say the game was rigged if we lose this game. So I’m not at all surprised that you’re reacting this way, it’s just a Nigerian thing. The same way we have the habit of calculating the points of other teams when the Super Eagles are losing in group stages, it’s the same way we like to argue about referee decisions when it doesn’t favor us. Thank God Adele-Bashiru scored the winning goal. Libya were wasting time before we scored, I think they were hoping for a draw.
