Yes Nigeria, Cote d'Ivoire, and Morocco are the top teams in Africa right now but I don't think they would be first second and third. The African nations cup is highly unpredictable and even big teams can fall to smaller teams. I think in terms of players quality Nigeria and Morocco stands out but not all the times this players gel together when they come to play for their national team. I would be keeping my fingers crossed till the tournament kicks off.

Hey my man sorry to say that, are you not aware that Ghana didn't qualify in the African Cup of Nations in 2025? You are not current. Cameron and South Africa and Mali are good teams but those teams I mentioned earlier will be the teams that will be seeding in this December and from April 2025 we will know who will lead the rank. But those teams you mentioned will not cross the knockout stage.
we can't just predict from now until the tournament starts and we see how teams perform.

The Super Eagles team of today is filled with players who has maximum respect with each other so I'm very surprised at the speculation that's been making the rounds in the media that there's some rift among the Super Eagles players. Victor Osimhen congratulated Ademola Lookman after the latter was awarded the African Best Player of the year by sending him a private message and that I think is enough.

I see this as just being Nigerians that we are, no matter how it plays we must have something filled up our throats to voice out. Osimhen already came out after the drag and made clear that he did congratulate him privately after his game in the Turkish League. This is making me get fed up in publicity, Nigerians wants everything we do to go public meanwhile there are positive things that should be done privately as well, in as much they are celebrities they also have the feeling of private personal lifestyle that they don't like sharing out.

Osimhen isn't jealous, he won previously and so far on his performance last season he knows that he doesn't meet up to what is needed, Lookman was the show man and he deserves it. The media is another problem we have but i think everyone of us should have advanced knowledge and try to see things differently from what they put out in public.

I think at this point the Libyan FA should stop participating in any football activity both in Africa and the international competitions until they put their house in order. CAF should not wait for more eventuality to happen for them to put a total stop on Libya in competing for tournaments in Africa. It's now obvious that they cannot guarantee the safety and well-being of visitors in their home ground. The continue fine of $50,000 on them is not yielding a favourable response as we would have expected, maybe a ban should be placed.

Did Lybia pay the previous fine they were given? I remember they were trying to appeal the verdict months ago. I think I got bored of the Libya-Nigeria saga and didn’t follow it up. I think CAF should impose stricter sanctions on Libya, a temporary ban should be a fitting punishment for them instead of these fines that they are struggling to pay.

You asked a very good question, and it brought up a notable topic for discussion. Come to think of it, I haven't heard any news that Libya has officially paid the fine.

  The CAF Disciplinary Board's decision was made on October 27, 2024, and the fine was to be paid within 60 days, which would have been around December 26, 2024.

 Judging from the timeline, they should have paid but we haven't heard anything about the payment, and I'm looking forward to hearing that they've paid the fine because I'd keep checking the news from time to time.

I don’t see any big deal in this if at all he later congratulated him privately. The thing is that the social media space will only show us what can bring them more views, likes and comments but in the real sense, there’s always more behind more to which we see. Ademola Lookman was given the best player African award of the year, what much can Osimehn’s post on his page add to him since he already achieved the same greatness as Osimehn did in the past. This is not a matter of escalation and I don’t see why we are still discussing about that here again. They know themselves better and will solve any pending issues between themselves better than we can. So, I don’t see any big deal in this when they’re still cool with each other.

With the recent sanction Libya have received from CAF, it means the North African country have now been sanction two times by the football governing body in Africa in less than four months. Libra's national team football management deserves to be questioned and sacked if possible for their poor administration that's brought nothing but global embarrassment to the country.

Since it was dated December 26th, 2024 for the fine to be paid, I doubt if they haven't paid it yet, I also don't believe a country will be playing with the CAF,  or the CAF no longer wants to maintain their stands on this matter. Furthermore, if this does not make headlines news, It doesn't mean that they haven't paid, maybe the media aren't aware of it, or they have not decided to make it known to the public, these are possible reasons.

The problem Libyan football is facing is politically motivated. The country is controlled by two governments which has caused conflicting policies. I suspect that it was the military controlled territory that delayed the Super Eagles from leaving the airport. The maltreatment of the Benin side which even led to the injury of the coach is condemnable and it shows that they have not really learned their lessons. Players are good at hiding their feelings on the pitch, they may be having a bad blood and still still play well together and not letting their personal feelings affect the team's performance. They're professional and will keep their job that way.

I also think Libya's arrogancy is coming form the top. Probably from the presidency, Minister of sports to the commissioner and to the team Management.  Before Libya team got liver to misbehaved like this then they have strong back up because the first fine was a warning but they have not learned anything. If Libya didn't learn from Nigeria and Benin Republic fines then the best option is to ban them from participating in any Continental game for some years until they are ready to participate and agreed to the teams of the CAF before they will be allowed to participate again.
