Have no clue about Tari, Go ahead and post a link with an update if you want. I don't even think it has a thread here and I'm far to busy/lazy ATM to check. I think Algo change for next fork is still in debate.

Finally! Monero backed loans!Coinloan.io, a P2P lending platform for crypto-to-fiat loans, is now accepting Monero as collateral. The Estonian-based startup rolled out an update allowing to use privacy oriented coin Monero (XMR) to get credit in fiat currencies (USD, EUR, GBP, RUB) or stablecoins (TUSD, GUSD, USDC). The World’s First Monero-Backed Loans There is a large community behind XMR that has now gained an opportunity to acquire fiat with no need to sell favorite cryptoasset. It opens the door to multiple use cases from leverage and hedging to tax optimizations and fast cash keeping HODL. Max Sapelov, Co-founder and CTO at CoinLoan, explained: “Our biggest competitors will not be able to accept Monero, even if they wanted to. Simply because BitGo wallet service they use stuck for specific currencies that don’t include Monero along with a significant number of other promising coins. In contrast, CoinLoan can build complex solutions for crypto from scratch thanks to an expert development team. So we will continue to list more coins missed out by BitGo for better coverage of the crypto market”. For more information, please visit our website coinloan.io.

Interesting, how can you be sure funds will be released after repayment? I see nothing but trust us we have a license. CoinLoan is a European company with all the licenses required for operational activities. The platform has fully legal status and protected infrastructure to ensure the security of funds. So its centralized and in Estonia? Does it use multisig?

Is there monero full node only secure way to store monero? I'd like to acumulate some but I am afraid it will not be much enough to make a full instalation worth of its work and costs But it could be too much to keep it on exchanges so I am looking for inditect solution

just create a wallet with the GUI software keep your seed and send the funds from the exchange to your xmr address .If you want to access your xmr just connect to a remote node using the gui (I always do a test run first with a small amount, but i'm super paranoid)

The GUI now also features a simple mode where you automatically connect to a remote node, thereby excluding the need for the blockchain sync. A full node is obviously better for privacy and more secure, but a remote node is still acceptable privacy and security wise.

Back up wallet and seeds are key essential things have to do to secure wallet and prepare for bad situation later. When backing up seeds, make sure that seeds should be written down and stored via as diversify methods as possible, and seeds should not be stored in online places, like Cloud Storage Services, Emails, and so on. Someone might argue that there are good security protections on Cloud storage services, but I don't think we should store important seeds online. Instead, storing seeds in offline computers, harddisks, usb, paper might be good or better options.

I’ve been in xmr since almost the beginning and still hold a fair share of what I originally purchased and going to keep holding as this coin still looks and is promising!

Looking for some advice.
I have about 6 paper wallets with a small amount of Monero gained from Beating an old Graphics card with stick. I have a Ledger Nano which I bought but I dont trust it so its sat unused. Will my paper wallets become outdated and I will lose the coins (paper wallets become unusable) as monero updates over the years. Also... Is it possible to import multiple Paper Wallet (seeds) into a freshly downloaded and Sync'ed Monero Wallet? Also... Will 2020 or 2021 be likely dates for tail emission? Is Monero going POS? Also... Bitcoin has been forked many times, why hasnt Monero had a successful fork? Is it because its ANON?
Thanks in advance, been watching the forum for a while.

Yes Also... Will 2020 or 2021 be likely dates for tail emission? Can't remeber, too lazy to look it up. Is Monero going POS? Fuck No. Also... Bitcoin has been forked many times, why hasnt Monero had a successful fork? Is it because its ANON?
They are all scams and only serve to weaken Monero's anonymity. Thanks in advance, been watching the forum for a while.
