On a daily basis it seems more and more people are leaning towards the hype methods rather than the bomb dropping. We have been discussing this awhile as the core team, and though we do not want to completely change our gameplan, we do want to keep everyone happy and focused on the positive.
That being said, we are going to begin releasing more information in regards to what we are currently working on, and what we have planned for the future. At the end of the day, the whole "no announcements and just dropping bombs" was part of our plan to prove that we are truly trying to make something of PINK. It is not a Pump and Dump that gets all its investments, and pumps from announcements of announcements. We feel that at this point, we have proven that we have the ability, dedication and passion to begin announcing features, and upcoming products/tools without it being referred to as pump hype.
So from this point on, we will announce everything earlier than we have been. This does not necessarily mean that we will make announcements of what we have planned. Instead, we will let everyone know when we have begun a project, and are at a point that we can with 100% confidence achieve its completion.
In essence, we realize that doing the extreme opposite of hyping and keeping completely quiet, is not a long term plan for success. So we will try and find a happy medium.
To give a little taste of our new plan, 3 days ago we had completed a design for a new PINK game and began working on it. So 3 days ago, we could have released a screenshot of this game, with both a description of how it works, and what we hope it will achieve. This game is in the final stages of its build, and will likely go into testing with the next 24-48 hours. We have many things on the go, some of them are still on the fence, but a good portion of them are guarantees. So we will begin writeups and preparing them for community involvement and inclusion.
We hope this will satisfy everyone on both ends of the spectrum. I myself have been a developer for many years, and 90% of the time that we would release a product too early, it would end in either failure, and weakened results. So if I could describe this in my own language, our new plan would go like this: Instead of just releasing a finished product, we will get it to a BETA stage and than let the community know about it.

I'm excited to hear about this new game and would love to see a screenshot and learn a few more details about it, but no pressure. I know you will tell us more when you feel it's the right time and I'm ok with that. I think you guys have proven to be an attentive, dedicated and sensible dev team. The only thing PINK might be lacking is better exposure. Other than that, great job guys. Keep it up!

Of course.... default is not something we tolerate at pink. The interface is getting thrown out the window and the new wallet is being built that will be pink enough to handle all the new features. The GUI design will be at par with all other design element at pink. We're targeting non crypto users, so rest assured, it will "feel" like you are using a regular software than a basic qt wallet. It's going to be noob friendly enough for grandma to send some pink

This is exactly what I wanted, to have some information about what is going on. ++10 for that. I think that only announcing what is going on Will keep PINK alive and at the same time bring some attention to PINK from the cryptoworld. I am looking forward for the PINK game, sound interesting:) Keep up the good work.

Since PinkEE, white paper and all, hasn't produced anything substantial -or sustained, anyway-, why not implement something that has? Like the SMS anon featured in Razor, for instance... It is OPEN SOURCE and they welcome the copy/paste: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=644498.1080It sounds quite pinky to me! Besides that, a couple considerations for the longer term: 1.- Although the fad now is the coins with a maximum count very reduced (2 million and lower, a la Razor) the fact that Pink has 365 million coins total is a VERY GOOD thing. There are many proponents of scarcity as an element of value. Nothing can be further from the truth historically: Abundance of currency has helped every economy in the last 5000 years. Scarcity, on the other hand, has never survived. 2.- Along those lines, the fact that the value of one single Pink will never be too high allows for much more simplicity in actual use and adoption by the general public. Imagine paying for a bottle of water, "X" amount of Pinkcoin as opposed to 0.00000----whatever BTC? It is, in fact, a clear barrier for adoption by both merchants and public. Make those simple but very significant facts known to everyone. They will eventually see PINK!

Please stop spreading nonsense... or word your sentences in a way that reflects the truth. You make it sound like its all out there and already implemented. When and IF something open source is released, we'll definitely take a look. No harm in adding an extra anon feature in the new wallet.
