Polo has unfrozen XCR market  Cool

Is it working nicely?

Testing it out now. One of my outstanding deposits from yesterday have come through, so it seems to be working fine at the moment.

Poloniex is working perfectly at the moment, just sent 2 deposits there and both showed up within 10 minutes on Poloniex.

were the two 26000 XCR deposits, that just went thru the BC yours?

Waiting on Bter is much like loaning money to a friend, and then he stops returning your calls.

I see on Bter's Titter page that they are trying to use Bitcoinfog service to trace transactions on the BTC blockchain.

as for Blackjack on the CBC........ yes, definitely.......... thats what the CBC's are all about

I´ve tried to setup a crypti node on ubuntu 14.10.

:~/0.1.9c# forever list
info:    Forever processes running
data:        uid  command         script forever pid  id logfile                 uptime
data:
  • Zb_j /usr/bin/nodejs app.js 5811    5813    /root/.forever/Zb_j.log 0:0:49:21.958

seems like it is running fine. But the logs.log is empty and the webinterface @IP:6040 shows "Cannot GET / "

Any clues what´s wrong here? Wink

We have had internal discussions on how to react to "the Bter Problem".    As of now, the decision is to wait and see what they do, as the ball is in their court.   Also, we are just one of about 90 coins that are affected.  It is a long line.

The slowness of Bter's response to enable withdrawals of any coin, indicates to me that they are lacking in leadership, and that they either do not have any set plan or strategy for coin withdrawals, or they do not have the coins and are using delay tactics.

Its not umcommon for exchanges to sell some of the coins into the market to fund their operation, because they know that ALL the coins are never withdrawn, so they can use the average balances for speculation by selling at a hopeful HIGH, and either buying back at a LOW, or waiting for the coin to go dark and its blockchain to disappear from the net.

As the situation changes with Bter, we will be re-evaluating our options.

Why do you think BTER was paying interest for "keeping coins" on the exchange ?  Wink

I bet Cryptsy exchange is the next one. That's why they don't update wallets.

--------------

I think may be the crypti strategy is right. In investment I heard this rule: "Scale profits, not losses". So why to began to promote XCR actively, when there is no product which "grows by itself" ? If Crypti team will create some feature which will attract users without ad - that's the point to start to promote hardly. It's more natural thing, but from investors point of view it takes good patience skill.

Great tweet from Bter, guys! Smiley

https://twitter.com/btercom/status/571382510073966592

So the altcoins are up next. We hope that Crypti will be one of the firsts.. Meanwhile the price rose to nearly 1000! Smiley

Please also note, that we are still testing v0.2.0! We are making good progress, but there are still things left to do and fix. It is important that you know, that as long as Bter has all the Crypti we can't release it. Else Bter can manipulate the blockchain with their 65% of coins. It is also important to keep in mind that in the future, the exchanges can't be allowed to have too many XCR. This case is valid for ALL crypto currencies; but because Crypti is pretty cheap right now, it is just more likely that this could be the case.  Smiley

CryptiKit Update - Simple & easy Crypti node deployment and management.

Hello Everyone! Smiley

Sorry, it's been a while since my last update. I've been very busy developing some exciting things for crypti Grin

Today's release is a small but useful update focused on making it easier to update to new versions of crypti. As always, feedback is welcome. If anyone requires assistance, just pm me.

Please download here: https://github.com/karmacoma/cryptikit/releases/tag/v1.8.1

If you don't know about CryptiKit and what it can do already, please read here:

For the complete changelog, please read here:

Changelog

  • Adding reinstall_nodes task
  • Updated crypti node to latest version: 0.1.9c
  • Removing application version from install path (prevents error on future update)
  • Updating/freshening files upon decompression (prevents error on future update)

Reinstall Nodes

The reinstall_nodes task installs a fresh copy of crypti and preserves the existing blockchain. This is useful when you want to update to the latest version of crypti without having to download a new copy of the blockchain.

For reference:

  • To install from scratch: rake install_all or rake install_nodes
  • To install/update and keep the existing blockchain: rake reinstall_nodes
  • To replace only the blockchain: rake rebuild_nodes
