The delay was caused by one of the cosigners being on a business trip.  After he is back this week, the last of the transactions will go out.

.........Great news about sock puppets and late redemptions. They are all processed and the last batch is waiting to be sent out in a few days.......

No way!!

You still haven't sent out all the stakes yet!! You all said that over and over and over again. You still have them. Why won't you send these poor people their stakes. They still haven't gotten their stakes? Why are you keeping them for months and months?

I'll be back herein a few days to make sure the community finally holds these devs accountable!!!
This kind of shadiness makes NEM look shifty as all hell!!! What is wrong with you guys.

Give these poor people their stakes. Why would you devs hurt your own coin like this. How stupid can you be?

I will just add that I was flagged as a sock for some reason, and I have not received my stake. I am still hopeful that someone will take a look at my case.

Yeah OK...  like the devs should have broken a leg for a bunch of sockpuppets and late redeemers...   Roll Eyes

It's not like they had anything better to do...  right?   Roll Eyes

They blanket accused and they labeled accounts socks and asked questions later. The accounts who have been accused contain innocent individuals.

In this case I would say yes that once accused much effort should be made to determine the answer quickly. Please now don't even defend devs it only makes NEM look worse. The devs have flat out lied. They have promised they were going to be sent out in a week for many month.

IF THE NEM DEVS ARE NOT THEIVES THEY NEED TO START DOING WHAT THEY PROMISE

You got it all wrong. These vampires received tenty ten TRILLION dollars from us so far.

This means each of the NEM developers have a higher net worth than THE WHOLE OF THE UNITED STATES EACH.

Which is the better scenario?

Makoto focused on socks, got them all out By skipping all the presentations and conferences and doesn't land any vc funding and doesn't go full time on nem

Or

Focused on presenting nem, landing funding, going full time and getting companies involved while delaying socks?

I know what I'd choose and I know what anyone who doesn't just want to dump would choose.

The devs are working their asses off on something they truly believe in. I have full faith in them, their abilities and their intentions. If it wernt for jaguar, gimre, br, makoto abd the other guys working like crazy id have given up on crypto long ago.

It is not one or the other!! Send these people what they are owed. It has been 100 days. I don't know why you care? You dumped and bailed on NEM. What are you doing here?

When NEM was first launched the versions of NEM upon release just went by the version number, like for instance 0.6.21 was just that 0.6.21, but now that a hard fork has been announced, it would be better if each major version also had a name.  Like Apple does with their OS, they name a number and a name, like 10.9 Mavericks, or 10.11 El Capitan and so on.

So what would be a good name for the version of NEM that lasted from 0.6.21 to 0.6.31, the original version of NEM?

And what would be a good name for 0.6.42 and on until the next hard fork?

One suggestion is
1. 0.6.21+ Washington
2. 0.6.42+ Adams
3. 0.6.xx Jefferson

but we won't be using names of any political leaders from any one country.

Another suggestions would be

1. 0.6.21+ red
2. 0.6.42+ orange
3. 0.6.xx yellow

Another could be whatever was the flavor of the month at Baskin Robbins

1. 0.6.21+ Snacknado
2. 0.6.42+ Oreo 'n Cake
3. 0.6.xx tba

Do you like colors or flavors?  Can you suggest something that is interesting?

I vote close the redemption period early.

The market is already far oversaturated with NEM, which nobody seems to want. You have to give people a reason to use NEM. The whitepaper and future promises mean nothing if there's no reason to use this coin as a currency. Every one of you whales who has any sort of link into the e-commerce world should be touting the advantages of adopting NEM over bitcoin as an online payment method.

Otherwise this coin will end up just like the hundreds of predecessors before it -- a useless novelty.

Stop trying to market towards investors and start marketing to people who are looking to use an online currency that skirts the prohibitive and costly nature of dealing in fiat.

Hello.

I think is not normal! Smiley

Don't know which version you use (standalone or with installer) but that usually means that you have
also older files in the same NEM folder.
I had same issue once when I have just copied the latest version into the folder
where I had an older version but if you have used the installer
to make the update then is something wrong with the installer because I think
the installer should remove automatically
the older files.

The solution at least when using NEM standalone version is to delete the content of the
NEM folder before doing the upgrade.

@sword555

Listen man, why are you starting to trip out now that they have everyone processed and will be sending out the stakes tomorrow?

Just doesn't make sense to cause a stir now that they are about to send them.

Just chill for a second

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=trust;u=186785
Here is the link to my trust settings here on forum. This trust system is very unfair. I make good on every deal Ive ever made. I had many, many deals as you can see and I never scammed anyone. All it takes is a random account to give you negative trust and youre screwed. Tomatocage has never even talked to me ever but when the random acct hit me with negative trust, Tomatocage came right behind him and marked neg trust again so obviously he was the one who did it. You can look at Tomatocage trust and see how many of his compeditors at the currency exchange thread he labeled scammers. I never scammed anyone. My trust was green over 20 before this. I hope it never happens to you because the mods cant help you.
