QUESTION ABOUT NEMSTAKE REDEMPTION
When I create the real NEM address, and receive private key and public key,
can I use them later in whatever computer, in different operating system?
Yes, your private key can be imported into your NEM wallet on any computer anywhere.

I have a dumb question. Is NEM a brain wallet?
I am facing this problem all the time. NIS is not available. Then i go to Users>nem --> Delete, restart everything. After a couple of tries, maybe i get lucky with the NIS sync. One thing i noticed, after i delete the nem folder, my wallet record is now 0. So i have to create a new wallet again and its a new wallet. What is this scenario when we have the real version out? What happens IF i delete the nem folder, my wallet will show 0, So i would not be able to login into my wallet again.. isn't ? or is the password is your account. Just to re-confirm.

you just use the private key you used to import it the first time and import your wallet again. any time you create a wallet make sure to save the private key associated with that account somewhere safe and if ever you end up deleting the wallet you can easily import your wallet again. i think you would have to create a new dummy wallet first and then go to import wallet but im not sure. you might be able to do it from the welcome screen. as for brain wallet, it is in the plans that users will be able to create brain wallets so then we will have local and brain wallets or some kind of hybrid wallet.. makes sense on the import wallet part. But what's with the NIS not available everytime...

At one time during the alpha (before the beta) a dev actually made a brainwallet code, but since some things have changed with PoI, it doesn't work in this version. I am pretty sure that some creative dev will bring back the brain wallet -> private key code thing. I gather it isn't too difficult to make. Also, at some point I have heard it mentioned that NEM will be able to store the private key as a paper wallet too. I think in some months from now, it will be very easy to load the client, unplug from the net, create a private key and paper wallet, print it and then connect back to the internet and send the NEM to the account you created and pretty much know that even a top notch hacker would have had a difficult time compromising you.

Like it has been guessed that if one owns 2000000 dollars, he gives away more easily 10000 dollars than in such situation that he owns 1000000 dollars. Would the following assumption be true? - if the total amount of NEMcoins is 888 000 000 000 000, then there would be more transactions than if there is only 8 000 000 000 coins. "The more money, the faster it moves" If that is true, then the current Beta testing will not be enough for big numbers like 888 000 000 000 000. Maybe the increase of the transaction amount is not linear in relation with the total coin amount, but logarithmic ... The change of 4 to 8 is not so significant that it would bring any new risks to the current Beta testing.

A supply in the billions was once controversial until it was popularized by Doge, NXT and Ripple. Now many coins come out with a supply in the billions. It could very well be the case that a supply in the trillions will work better but we don't know as nobody has taken the initiative to try it.
I think from an international perspective the international monetary supply is around $20 trillion and then derivative, assets and other things do add up to $500 trillion to $1 quadrillion. So having a NEM supply at 800 - 888 trillion does fit that global scale.
I think it would also work better for tipping. Doge used to get a lot of interest as people were tipping each other millions of coins but nobody does this anymore because 1 million Doge = $200+ and you aren't going to tip a stranger $200 bucks+. People don't get as excited over a free 10,000 coins anymore. This change would mean each stake would get around 250 billion NEM each and that is a lot of tipping millions. It is a psychological thing but many people like the sound of millions and billions.
I don't think the motivation from anybody here is to cause a riot or a meltdown. I think we have to remember we are still in the innovation phase. The user base of this digital currency technology is only 500K-2M people when the internet in 1989 had up to 3 million. We should always be trying to take every unprecedented initiative we can with the hopes of introducing this technology to more people. One form of that, I guess, could be "much NEM much wow" where new users are lured in by receiving millions of coins.
