Hi, is it posible to set more than 3 default pools for antminer? If i put pool group it works untill unit resets, then only 3 default are left. And for profit switcher would be nice to have more. Cheers

I've been using Awesome Miner for a few days now, and it's been seriously helpful! I'm away from my setup for about 10hrs a day, and it's very reassuring to have access, and the ability to restart remotely. If I run into any issues, I'll post here. Keep up the GREAT work!

Any chance in a future update there could be a feature that caps the amount of time Awesome Miner will remain on a single algo when profit switching? For example, if PHI (or any algo) remains most profitable and is mined for say 10 minutes straight (or through 5 consecutive 2min Switching Interval checks) have a setting that would cause AM to switch to the next most profitable algo and put PHI on timeout/cooldown for a configurable amount of time after which the profit switching profile would take it back into consideration. Perhaps per algo in Options -> Online Services a setting like "Max Continuous Mining Duration Before Forced Switch" or "Max Time Active" paired with that a setting that could remove the algo from profit switching consideration for a configurable amount of time if it triggers the previous setting so it doesn't just immediately switch back next Switching Interval check. Either that if per algo is too much to implement, the 2 settings could just apply to all algos and be configured under Options --> Profit Switching right were Switching Interval and Profit switch Threshold are configured
My thinking is that with tuning these settings could help AM from getting stuck on a single algo for too long with a high ttf that isn't finding blocks. Anyway, thanks for the Awesome software and the continuous updates!

Hi,
Using version 4.5.0, I am trying to develop a script which is supposed to turn off and turn on a smart plug if certain miner goes offline. To do so, I have defined a custom rule which uses "Detect offline, 180 seconds" as a trigger and as an action, I use "Run executable" which takes an .exe file which looks up smart plug IP based on miner hostname and restarts the smart plug. It all runs fine, if script manages to execute well and restart the plug, however, if there is an error, like plug is offline for any reason or the farm which is offline isn't equipped with the plug, AwesomeMiner keeps triggering my executable every couple of seconds. So the question is: is there a functionality when choosing "Run executable" action to perform it only fixed number of times? For example, if miner went offline, I would try to restart associated smart plug 3 times, if there is one, and, if it doesn't work for any reason (plug lost network or no plug is installed on that miner), I don't want executable to be called anymore.
Thanks a lot for help in advance!
You probably need some waits in the actions to allow the rig to power back on. Otherwise, the rule will get triggered again. Check out my version of what you are trying to do with Awesome Miner and Smart Plugs. I use IFTTT to integrate the Smart Plugs and Awesome Miner. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2866608.msg29694068

I'm confused by this, but I'm sure you have a good reason for wanting this. This behavior runs counter to what profit-switching is for. I think Patrike has said he would look into adding profit-switching triggers and actions, so maybe this could be set in a future version.

You could add the individual pools available on this site as a pool group and set profit-switching to the pool group.

Did you setup the workers on Mining Dutch in the same format? username.rigname A lot of mining pools want you to do this like Suprnova and MPH for instance. Some pools will auto-create the miner for you, but I setup the workers on the pool first just to make sure there are no errors.

I have already added "Wait" to give miner some time to boot up, however, the major problem is that on my farm there are a lot of machines that are not equipped with plugs. To get a bit more technical, I maintain a file which stores a mapping from miner name to IP address of associated smart plug, but if miner isn't equipped with a plug, an executable that powers plugs on/off simply finds no matching IP and exits. But AwesomeMiner keeps triggering it again and again. The only solution I can think of is use "Only apply to selected miners" and chose only those that are equipped with a plug.

AwesomeMiner Coin Updater 0.2 ( Requires AwesomeMiner 4.4.7 Dev or 4.5 Release) - Changed away from nethash to difficulty measurements (delete your LocalCoinData.json file)
- Now updates all coin properties thanks to new AwesomeMiner HTTP APIs
- You no longer have to add custom coins, they are created for you thanks to new AwesomeMiner HTTP APIs
- Updated config.json to support these new changes. You MUST update your custom coins to the new format.
- Made the error messages more obvious about what is going on

Is the default setup for profit mining a good one to start with? Specifically, what time duration, % change are people have good success with? I have most everything turned on... on 1080Ti's (6) and am using Zpool, MPH, and ahashpool (I turned on zergpool for a while, but it seems it never pays ... unless it stuck behind some mandatory hold timer, I mined there for 10 hours and everything is in the exchange, nothing has cleared). Anyway, just looking for a good starting point and process and proposed BTC/day for the above? looking for any suggestions.

I wish the profit switching had some options like "If profit drops below X(user defined) for more then X(user defined)minutes, then restart (switch). Also, an option of "if miner stops, restart after x(user defined) minutes" would be great too. My experience has been that I will be home, and I set the switch time to 20-25 minutes. It will be mining along at profit of $20 a day. It will go anywhere from 10-20 minutes like that, then all of a sudden it drops to $6.75. If I'm there I wait 2 minutes to watch, and if it isn't recovering, I hit restart, and it usually switches to something in the $17-22 dollar range. Once in awhile it will choose another poor choice in the $8-9 range, and I hit restart again, and it catches another $17-22 switch. Once in awhile the miner stops. I've figured out most of the algorithms, and pools that cause trouble, and disabled, or removed them, but to avoid the miner going down, when I'm sleeping, or out of the house, I change the switch time to 38 minutes so it will switch less (in case it stops, to avoid waking up and realizing the miner has been down for 4 hours, which kills whatever extra profit I may of made) That scenario wouldn't be a problem if it just auto restarted after 3-5 minutes. Thanks for all your hard work Patrike!

BUGS: - after i change the pool to some miners i can't change the pool to the rest anymore. I have to restart Am then it works. - AM does not apply changed pool / template / mining application after applying them, several restarts of the miner is required
FEATURE REQUEST: - IMPORTANT - add an option to remove all income/revenue data in the dashboard from the view only / control view user roles - when you search for awesome miner agents put a field in the wizard to enter the password, so you don't have to enter the password for each host - if you add lots of miner it is tiresome to modify each one. - add a checkmark in miner properties to get the worker name from the description, so you don't have to always check "add to worker name" and type the worker for each miner - make a "clone" button for the managed hosts section - make the hw errors text color in webserver red so it pops out and see it better - make a button to map all the selected miner gpus to system monitoring - maybe add a tooltip so when you hover with the mouse above the miner after 2 you can see the details ( command line arguments and configuration )
