Never doubted it.

You centralize and premine anything crypto related....that spells "DOOM".

Bitcoin Up, Gold who cares, Ripple RIP.

I can't emphasize enough how bullish this is for Bitcoin.

Ripple was the longest standing of all the alts and they even looked to be making a go of it with the recent Fidor bank deal.  For them to go down like this from precisely what you and I warned about from the very beginning spells trouble for ANY AND ALL alts that do a premine. Ripple had some of the most vicious and dedicated backers (trolls) of any of them along with stellar devs like David Schwartz and Stefan Thomas.

This is huge. For Bitcoin.

Ripple is/was the biggest scam. Bye bye Ripple.

Anyone notice that it has been quite a while since anyone discussed silver in depth on this thread?

Sentiment even rears its ugly head here as well.

Is "Ripple is now controlled by corporate "suits" who do not care about the community." a direct quote from the Law Offices of George Frost?

No, Frost is saying that Jesse is promoting that as a false narrative.

The way it's written, especially if you take the green text out of there, reads kind of like one of those apocryphal, "Help, I'm trapped in a fortune cookie factory" notes.

There was also the precedent of Mastercoin. Despite his promise to not sold before 0.75, J.R Willet sold a bunch of his stash at 0.15. The price was divided by half in the process, and never recover. It's now at 0.05.

6/10   if he wants his bonds back there is no resistance. he just wants $2,000,000 on a bet that went bad. he had the option to take btc at the time.

ok, Mastercoin and Ripple down.

i just got done listening to Daniel Larimer from Bitshares talk about his difficulties dealing with the complexity of trying to layer multiple platforms.  his thing about "delegates" sound like gateways to me and centralization.  doesn't sound promising.

even Darkcoin involves something about Masternodes which are required.

until proven otherwise, Bitcoin is IT.

other than getting to show their logo and hand out some cards, what do they gain?

its not like anyone can buy beer with btc...

Edit: "By getting people hooked on bitcoin at an early age, there is a better chance for bitcoin to be around years from now."

not really cool.

So will the gold bugs start fleeing the ship and buy some BTC? Grin

No way. Gold bugs are all about the physical. Their 40 year scenarios involve a global meltdown and general SYSTEM FAILURE, a "gold" that requires a functioning internet and power system would be laughable to them.

at least they won't be able to post on blogs that their 10 year daily prediction of doom finally came through.. if they hate the internet so much why do they yap the most on it?
