Revising the github history and comments I think that we are only like 1 month away from the official GUI Beta. I can not wait to transfer at last everything I have on the off. gui. I don't want to ever look again at that ugly dos window or being afraid that polo will be hacked or that mymonero will be phish-ed or ddos-ed.

Thats funny. It had the opposate effect on me. I bought this book: The Linux Command Line: A Complete Introduction and am presently working towards banishing desktop environments from my life entirely. Command line and the occasional xwindow only for me from here on out.

I sold all of my XMR during that epic pump and I am now waiting to buy back in. I think Zcash will rocket to the top 5 coins pretty fast after it launches. Zcash is an obvious cash grab but has some serious hype and well-known backers. Wondering how bad it will hurt XMR's prices? My current plan is to wait for it to launch and if XMR drops I buy some cheap coins.

I think I should follow your move, if I will buy with the current price and the price will still continue to drop then I will just sell when it dump half of the current price, I lose half of my investment if happens, but I am seeing another light as we have been staying with this price.

I guess Adolf comes within 24 hrs telling us he cannot take this anymore and sells his coins with small loss in order to buy back 3 % lower again.

The last time i sold i ended up lowering my breakeven price from 0.01371 to 0.01106, now it's too late to sell but i have considered selling above 0.012 but unfortinatily i have decided to wait 0.013 and lose a lot of money.

I have noticed from poloniex that the selling almost stops below 0.0113, i guess almmost all holders that is left are expecting higher prices. A lot of people seam to struggle with when to buy/sell and this moment. We are not in a downtrend for now(price has remained above 0.011 most of the time and never dropped below 0.01 again) but it's not really an uptrend either since the peaks are getting lower too.

Well, I guess we will not see 0.01 for our monero  and I believe it is a good buy with the current price in polo, if price will stable in that range there's a great chance that it will increase in due time giving us a good income as we have bought a cheaper price of monero now.

high probabilty to go below 100 soon. It was already strong in trend to. Latest news only delayed the trend. Could either go up this weekend because of late starters who get the news late and think it's smart to get in fast cause they are emotional and don't figure out the facts before buy. Or it will drop already this weekend, than it will do so fast.
A lot of people bought now at "high" prices (114+)...when sey see that XMR will continue to fall, they will get rid of their coins as fast as they can to minimize loss (what i can totally understand 115-125 down to 80-90 are at least 22% total loss)....

if it will drop below 0.0095 i could even imagine that people who went in really high try to get rid of their coins. At some point everyone accepts the reality. I feel really sorry for everyone who bought above 180 and keeps a really expensive bag now

the downtrend was interrupted by the app news. Small hype, now price is falling again. The buy walls are fake as always. I wouldn't trust them. Imagine price goes down to lets say for example 60. Its a loss of nearly 50%

This time it's not going for a short dump below 100 (my speculation)...i think it will drop something between 85 and 60. Followed by some buy activities than down again and finally silence until an important news appeared.

Who knows if not even zcash will make the race about Ransomware for next next weeks. Until moneros's RingCT is not implemented zCash is with zksnark's far more anonymous. And still a missing GUI. Moreover I see some money flowing from monero to zcash (Hype) at release.

Realistically ZCash is unlikely to affect XMR's price at all. If anything, it will probably move XMR upwards, as despite the ZCash hype, Monero is still the better coin. We often always saw XMR and DASH moving together despite the perceived rivalry.

I don't see how ZCash could be a Top 5 coin pretty fast though. That would mean a marketcap of above $100,000,000 but the limited supply would imply ludicrous unit prices that wouldn't be sustained.

It does not matter if XMR is a better coin... All that matters is hype and marketing in this area. No other coins have much real world usage besides BTC and even that is pretty low. Look at ETH's price...lol that coin is a joke these days and still has high prices.

Well, if that is your decision you are free to do what you want, I usually do not go with the flow, meaning I use to fade the public as I myself is a complete gambler, I bet you are talking about the public and that is your perception, so with that I am going to buy more XMR and hold it with the current price.
