BtcLucky.com have multiplier and % of win more high!!!!!!!!

Is that a real gambling site or a parody site?  It's hard to tell:

It's full of spelling mistakes and horrible grammar:

Also, the maximum bets are tiny in comparison to SDICE.  Dude wouldn't have been able to accidentally bet 30 BTC, since the maximum on the 4x game is only 3.5 BTC!

BtcLucky is the first italian gambling site for bitcoin! My English is not perfect...for the max bet? Every day are most high!

I would suggest running at least a spellcheck over it.

Any sufficiently advanced technology is indistinguishable from any sufficiently complex parody or how did the rule go?

Just thinking out loud here, but a less professionally done gambling site might be more likely to have an error in the gambler's favor.  Wink

Yes, but they might also be more likely to cheat and/or run off with your money.

ODDS = LESS / 65536
WIN = ( 2000 * 0.981 * BET - 10 * BET + 10 * BET * ODDS - ODDS) / 2000 / ODDS
LOSS = BET / 200 - 0.0005

Just wait. Sometimes a transaction can't reach a pool it's doomed to be included into a block by. I had the same issue and got the payment after a couple of days.

does satoshidice have a good connection to the bitcoin network at the moment - over the past few days I've had a few bets where the payment TX never hits my bitcoin client and also blockchain.info (and blockchain.info is very well connected)

There have been some glitches the past day or two, with transactions getting stuck. They all clear though, don't worry.

This transaction hasn't left SatoshiDice:

http://satoshidice.com/lookup.php?tx=639636f16c21340dd1f452147ff3a5d3ff3638b5acdb877b42d50f116130b6d6&limit=100&min_bet=0&status=ALL

Any chance you can give it a nudge?

Yes I just bet some and was wondering what's going on... hope that it will be up anytime soon.

Explanation of outage:

The file system a bitcoind we needed was running on filled.  It was small and I wasn't tracking it (booo).  I moved that to a larger file system and got things back up this morning.

I also took things down again to try to update to the newest bitcoind version.  That was taking too long to sync blocks so I aborted that and moved back to the old one.  I'll probably still do the upgrade, but I'll get it synced elsewhere and then move the files in to minimize downtime.

We had alarms that caught when things went down but I don't have those alarms set to wake me up and I was asleep so things stayed down until I got up and checked my email.

There are 3 stuck bets from October still:

b289fcfaf01dffd0fd645175df092b126d526fac0acac92257d29db5f113b770
0a916eccc98787009d114b7587799d3264929f51e7c6407993ce18bde3d1ddd3
1cbee7df12ddc24d2a9754e96aa6126664bb176e89ce32ade2b5731a51114db7

Each one was bet using freshly mined coins which is probably why they weren't processed properly.
