Hello. I placed 3 consecutive bets on satoshidice about 6 weeks ago. Apparently all 3 lost. Can you tell me what the number "rolled" was? You used to be able to see for yourself on the site using a txid but I can't find that option anymore.

144ee7e72b1a563e6657013d55426ae689a17d15f5a56bd8c84434d38d147d06-000

5554ecd74ce58eb6116b4c63a9c6d0bca57c807fa8658601efabe47ba07eae35-000

70aa746f85e6b4340a3f969ad2e205297a64e17e0d143a849b16431ed31f3e7b-000

Total of about 56 Bitcoins lost.

Really hard to believe that all 3 rolls lost, 2 rolls were on the lessthan 56000(85.4492% chance to win) and 1 roll on lessthan 48000(73.2422% chance to win).

The chances of losing all 3 rolls given those odds is extremely, extremely low.

Are you able to provide more info regarding the rolls? Like what I actually rolled? Tongue

Slightly more than half a percent. Quite low, but I wouldn't call it "extremely, extremely low".

Hi Kwoody -

You got it. Here are the links to all three transactions (and you can still access these anytimes at the classic.satoshidice.com/lookup

https://classic.satoshidice.com/lookup/144ee7e72b1a563e6657013d55426ae689a17d15f5a56bd8c84434d38d147d06

Kat

why is there delays when placing bets? My bets have had up to 5 confirmations before they get placed? why also if I place many bets in a row do they get split up between other bets? They are appearing to be convienently placed  Huh which is getting VERY perculiar in the pattern thats starting to emerge?

Hi there,

Hmmm, I don't know of any global issues - shoot us an email at support@satoshidice with a transaction # and we will research it pronto. Thank you!

Hi all!

I have just been informed that our processing agent is stuck, and this is why you're not seeing the results of your bets right now. Rest assured that this will be reactivated shortly, and that all transactions will be honored and are definitely not lost. The outcome of the bets will also not change - this is simply a delay. Thank you for your patience and for alerting us to the issue!

It's the txid of your bet transaction, then a colon, then the number of the output within that transaction, counting from zero.

Typically there are two outputs in a transaction, the payment and the change. One is output 0 and the other is output 1. Blockchain.info will list them in the correct order.

Hey, just noticed the new max bet limits. They're getting lower and lower.. 5.93 BTC max at 50% chance now. About a few days ago, the limit was somewhere at 19 if I remember.

Any reason for that?

P.S: I'm not a 'whale' gambler myself, but placed a few bets lately. I am just wondering why change the limits? Are you guys getting low on reserves?

Maybe not many highrollers, no money in bankroll. People going to other dice sites that are better.

Huh? Did I miss something? The max profit is 176.82 BTC, so you should be able to bet nearly 90 BTC on 50% chance.

I recommend asking me for a signature from my GPG key before doing a trade. I will NEVER deny such a request.
