Hey I am totally new to cryptocurrencies and it was just recently I really got into it, thus how I found my way to Mary Jane coin and I am loving it!
I figured I'd just give you guys some love and tell you how awesome the user interface is. Although it could use a little TLC here and there it has been extremely useful, especially after the latest update. I probably won't post to much, but I figured I'd make this one count.

You should have way more than one, did you download the final fix?

i downloaded it now second time still 0 active connection and not sync..
it looks like a get some times a day 1 active connection and found some blocks.. but never sync..

I used rpcport=22789 in maryjanecoin.conf without port= so it use defaulf.
But if you use just for node without need for RPC you do not need to set any of those in conf, it will work with defaults.

Create a maryjanecoin.conf file, it will help you connect.

Go to Control Panel
In the Search box, type Folder
Click "Folder Options"
Click the tab that says View
Make sure there is no check in the box for "Hide file extensions for known file types" (de-select this option and click OK)
Exit Control Panel

On Windows 8, right-click the start button and select "Run"
(for Windows 7, left-click the start button and type "run" into "Search Programs and Files", then click Run at the top of the list)
In "Run", type %appdata% and press Enter
You should see the folder located at Appdata/Roaming
Open the MaryJaneCoin folder
Right-click and Create New File - create a new Text document
Open the document with Notepad
Paste the following into the file: (but put a username and password instead of "username" and "password)

listen=1
server=1
daemon=1
rpcuser=*username*
rpcpassword=*password*
rpcport=9420
port=8420
rpcallowip=127.0.0.1
addnode=194.135.90.5
addnode=194.135.90.81
addnode=107.170.179.27


Save the file.
Re-name the document maryjanecoin.conf (filetype .conf, not .txt)
Restart your MaryJaneCoin wallet.

addnode=107.170.179.27 is a node I've put up and on the highest chain.

Config file updated with Crestingtons node, added an installation guide, and updated the blockchain.

Did you add that little guide I added for the config file? If you give a stock one then that is what people will use and probably wouldn't change the username and password in the conf file.

You must always assume that users will use the client as stock so it must be as detailed as possible for people to understand and use.

Yeah I included your guide, instead of having them make the config file, I just added it to the package. I think everything looks pretty clean. I made the username = x and the password = y

Great, a bootstrap is good if not better because you might get DB errors, plus you should have the checksum to check it against as an extra layer of security.

You could probably do both, a bootstrap is great because you don't need an internet connection to reindex the Blockchain.
