You'll see that there's a 52% chance of losing all 5 bets (a total of 472 BTC), but if any of the 5 bets win, you'll win 497 BTC.  That seems like a good deal to me actually - because it feels like 497.6 * 47.845% is bigger than 471.85 * 52.155% (but, of course, it isn't - there's no "good deal" when playing SatoshiDice...)

Also, if you won on the 5th roll, you'd be the 2nd biggest winner in the history of SatoshiDice.

Looks to me that when (if!) you eventually win, your overall profit is roughly equal to the amount of your winning bet.

So if you win on the 20th turn, you bet 219 BTC, and make a profit of 213.83 BTC.

Of course, it's possible that you lose all 20 bets in a row, and then you lose the whole 662 BTC that you bet.  Or you could play a 21st time and hope to almost break even.

I made an excel sheet with some calculations done automaticly, i started with 0,01 in the beginning until i had around 200 btc, then i started 0.1 Because the change of 17 bets losing is 0,86%.

But as always, 219 is the max bet, so there is a max But the highest i've seen in my betting work is turn 15 winning   (2 times total now)

What about such an idea: more the others lose, more u win? The premise is that SatoshiDICE doesn't distinguish different players and Statistics says that in the long run SatoshiDice gets only 2%.

A winning strategy should be playing only when SatoshiDICE wins, not loses.

This doesn't work.  The dice has no memory.  The law of large numbers guarantees that the site's performance will eventually tend towards the expected house edge, even without the dice having any memory.

So any strategy which relies on historical results won't work.

Brainless people with money...
Seriously, starting a Martingale betting with 16 BTC @ <24000, doubling the bet each round, AND knowing the max bet -> 250 BTC.

To be fair, my script doesn't display any bet where the profit or loss is less than 10 BTC, so it's quite possible he started considerably lower than 16 BTC and had a run of bad luck.
