For the past several hours these trolls have been overtime spreading FUD about FCT, coinciding with the slamming of the FCT price.

Check http://www.polonibox.com/?messageText=fct
for the attacks there.

This is completely ridiculous ...

Do people actually listen to users on there?  I would think everyone on there would have their own agenda.

In the absence of regular communication these forums are what form perception, yes. As you well know.

And no, not everyone on here has an "agenda." Believe it or not, some people actually want to discuss the team and technology and future in an open way. And not have to deal with FUD armies scamming people for a living, let's say.

But really, you guys are doing an impressive job. Really coordinated, totally cold and aggressive. Can't imagine how you explain yourself to yourself, though.

?  Your the one stating trolls are out in droves on polo.  I just reiterated that.

30% loss in one day.  I'll give it another hour then I'm tapping out.  Bye bye crypto.  NOT again, at least not in this lifetime.

nobody should invest in crypto if not ready to lose 30% in one day. It has happened today, it has happened in the past, and it will happen again

I got like 8% margin left, I wish someone would dump 10,000 fct to put me out of my misery.

If you look back in the forum posts, you were warned many times - but anyone who doubts the absolute and complete success of factom is immediately described as a troll. I believe one of the devs of factom actually wrote an article on the value of constructive criticism. The irony.

Shame because as we all know, anchoring proof of existence, audit and process into a blockchain is a very very big idea.

I'm waiting for a lower entry point. Sub 0.002.

Holy fuck I went to bed to a pool of blood and woke up to a sea of red.
Literally half of altcoins on Poloniex are posting double-digit losses.

I still think this presents a really interesting opportunity.
Personally I'm going to put a little bit of my money into Factom, Lisk, Augur, etc and not look at the prices for a few weeks.
I like to gamble and hopefully at least one of the projects isn't a total bust.  Wink

0.0025 hit on Poloniex as predicted.

if the weekly bearish divergence (RSI+Volume) plays fully, 0.0015 is the final destination.

I guess nobody is laughing now at my "trollish" predictions.

Nobody can predict a market like factom, thats the thing not you not me we can all just speculate.

Too many factors in play.

Factom have got a great future too bad they are now getting some insane margin calls, specialy for people that really like the project. But as long as M2 is clueless and nowhere it can go much and much lower.
Specialy now that people buy btc and zcash.

The only people buying zerocash are compulsive gamblers and the mentally infirm. But the bitcoin rise and subsequent altcoin bloodbath was widely expected to happen. What I'm most surprised (and somewhat pleased) about is the carnage for ethereum. They've had that coming for a long long time.

Apologise for off topic, but what is happening with Ethereum? Did they do something wrong? I wasn't following it for a month or so.

I got like 8% margin left, I wish someone would dump 10,000 fct to put me out of my misery.

Hang in there and live to trade another day!  I too took out margin on this fella and got my ass kicked too.  I finally hit my pain point after some forced liquidations and dumped it.  I went short and closed out mostly in the .0023's.  That helped shore up some losses, but not all, to be sure.  Anyway, anything can happen in crypto, but what a day!

I think the communication has been crappy but I don't have high expectations for a new company.  They don't go to work each day thinking how they can continue to prop up our account balances, and it's not their duty to.  GrossBit has been right about a lot of things.  We can't fall into group think, or as he calls it, circle-jerks.  Thanks for that visual.

Anyway, fundamentals are still the same with FCT.  The forced liquidations on this one are mighty and I would wager that explains why the sell-off got more brutal on this one than many others.  BTC still has some room to run until hitting the summer high.  Once that cools off then hopefully we'll see some green in the alts again.

I started falling in love with the idea of holding FCT long term.  Part of me still wants to...I see the long term and it looks beautiful.  This trade has reminded me once again about dangers of falling in love with a coin/stock.  These things fly and fall.  That's just reality.  If you take too many falls then you're an idiot, but good for you to remain loyal if that's what you care about when you are broke.  As an example, I got in on the VIA ICO a few years ago.  It flew and I was up 10x.  I thought I was king.  Then it started dropping, dropping, dropping.  I planned to hold it forever but eventually dumped it.  It's been coming up lately but it dropped to practically nothing.  Guess I'm just saying it pays to be vigilant and be honest with yourself, no sense going down with the ship unless you are captain.

And with that, I'm thinking hard about starting up a starter long...back in the .0023s again.

Thanks for the tip. As for FCT, I think GrossBit is right most of the time, so better ask him =)

A lot of people where warned about this. But whenever anyone here provides a view that goes against the majority you're made out as a troll.

Bitcoin only went up around 10% and everything crashes with +30%? Then it's not just Bitcoin.

I doubt the price will recover for a long time as users will try to quickly scramble to get out of Factom with minimal loses when the price goes up again. Hope the loses where minimal for everyone though, sucks to lose money.

I think Poloniex has a vital role in all this. Most of us watch markets carefully. I remember how easy was for Polo to affect BTC price. This is well prepared scenario. It is easy to them to ruin the confidence. If you sell you give Polo easy money. All this will reflect on price in near future. After we feed the beast even leftovers will be expensive. Trade wisely, do not panic, be confident.

Best time to buy is now. Bitcoin typically doesn't do well in November. Factom pair will benefit significantly.
