This is another unfunny joke....
Really complicated.......
[...]
[...]
Conclusion?.... I initially sent 10btc to Gox, sold 5 at good prices, above happened, and now have 13btc (+30%) returned to my wallet, when that was not my intention. Very weird morning.
As for Gox, i regard them as dangerously flawed, at best, and i will not be putting btc back in, unless they answer to the above.
Cool story bro thanks for the joke but the real joke is: Thousands of people frequent these forums every single day, and read all the negative reviews of MtGoX's performance (including yours), and will CONTINUE USING IT AS THEIR #1 EXCHANGE. Doesn't it just make you giggle?

11 confirms and btc still not show up at gox. if anyone plans to play around at gox be prepared to not get your magic btc into your account quickly. so one of the main reasons to use btc, for fast transfer, aint working right with duh gox.
Same problem... I guess they realized that as long as you can't dump btc on their exchange the price will go up. So, just delay all kinds of btc deposits.

My anger against what is wrong in the Bitcoin community is productive: Bitcointa.lk - Replace "Bitcointalk.org" with "Bitcointa.lk" in this url to see how this page looks like on a proper forum (Announcement Thread)Hashfast.org - Wiki for screwed customers

I don't trade at gox and don't intend to but me like it or not, it's gox who are dictating the whole market and that is pissing me off. Site with such problems should never be the market leader.

(no confirmation) doubled checked the address and sent a smaller amount it went through (12 confirmations) but this one is not showing up either

Gox was closed for 12 hours and Bitstamp was open. People also transferred coins to Bitstamp. The result of this is that fiat is running dry on Bitstamp and there are more sellers than usual. I would also guess that the people still using MtGox have a lower IQ which leads them to be of a more bullish nature than the other exchanges.

.... Uh, what? Lol, dude. The issue is not bulls blaming gox for whatever, it is silly people using a service that is incredibly inferior. There are a dozen other exchanges where you could transfer your BTC to and sell it for USD and make the same profit. Some exchanges even have a higher USD/BTC rate than GoX much of the time. Yet, you choose the one that at any given moment could have 427 seconds of lag time or be completely unreachable due to "victim of our own success." I'm not laughing at people trying to make money, I'm laughing at people picking the poorest-performing broker to do so. Lrn2freemarket. So if fcmatt were picking a convalescent home to put his mum in, he would pick the one that costs more, has the electricity shut off randomly, and beats its patients, rather than the one that has excellent service, nice staff, no rolling blackouts, and no beatings? And he would state a completely unrelated, incorrect reason as to why other people don't put their mums in the abusive home with the outages? Matt don't let your mum know you have such bad skillz at choosing institutions with which to do business based on their performance...

I know this is for Gox charts but here's some Bitfloor porn: Finally broke above $80 again. Great. Another bubble. I'm actually pretty content with the $75 at MtGox. If we can slowly build off of that It'll speak volumes for the future of Bitcoin.

Nothing. And btc-e is $74 and Bitfloor was $84.97, last I checked. These differences between exchanges are pretty standard and until we have more extensive arbitrage operations, will generally be in that range. One of the things that affect it is how easy it is to fund the account with fiat. With some exchanges I could have fiat there in an hour if I wanted to, for free. With some other exchanges I'd have to wait a week.

Lol, bubble? I give up, sure, let's call $75-$82 a "bubble." (By the way, it's not actually a bubble, it's just a fluctuation of the sort that have been happening all day, and it will probably go back down to 80 in a minute, then 82 again, then 75, then 80, then 65, then 75, then 72, then 78, then 88, then 82, then 65) you get the point?

This is not some pseudoeconomic post-modern Libertarian cult, it's an un-led, crowd-sourced mega startup organized around mutual self-interest where problems, whether of the theoretical or purely practical variety, are treated as temporary and, ultimately, solvable. Censorship of e-gold was easy. Censorship of Bitcoin will be… entertaining.

Considering the substantial parallels with the June 2011 bubble, I would say that any support at these levels, i.e. 76, is not going to hold. The primary reason is identical with the last time - the onetime flood of new bitcoin buyers is going to dry up. There is only bad media about bitcoin, e.g. no new all time highs to report - now just the crash and how Mt.Gox messed up, same as last time.

I don't understand how people are able to trade without live streams from bitcoinity or clarkmoody.
