I just think XPY is a good buy here and I simply use the same observations which convinced me to convince others.

Why do you feel this need to "convince others"?

He needs suckers to pump the price up so he can sell to them and not end up holding the bag.

Edit:  Personally though i think after the hack announcement its way to late.  Ive been around crypto long enough to know what a questionable company being hacked means.

They have no real valid income other than used miners, correct?   Huh

I'm not sure about even that.  Their website is all jacked up so if you actually tried to go put a miner in your cart you have just a couple of options (after clicking around quite a bit to find them):
-the rockminer at $400 for 470 Gh/s
-a bundle of five of those ancient gridseed dual miners that do 300 Kh/s scrypt and not even enough SHA256 to produce BTC dust for $30
-an innosilicon A2 at a massively overpriced $4k

And that's it.  You can also purchase various overpriced accessories or used PSU's or this: http://www.gawminers.com/collections/all/products/test but essentially nothing anyone in their right mind should be buying.  In fact the whole web store looks to have been messed up by some amateur web admin and never fixed.  And it's been that way for at least a week.

Interesting...seems they switched to thr "old one" after thr s4 firesale

are we on to the next step?  The "We got hacked" step lol.

It says the coins were protected  Grin

TBH I'm having trouble reconciling that post. If they caught it early there shouldn't be much "verification" needed. Worst case, restore last known good backup and replay known good transactions. Either they don't have a clue when and how the attack started or the whole thing is made up. To shut it down for a week is a truly confidence-inspiring act by a wannabe financial institution boasting to change the "industry".

Could it be connected with your previous post?

Hearing the Dev left a back door in in Zencloud before they fired him, maybe thats why nobody can withdraw there coins from there for 2 days

Would that be checking for other backdoors n anything that he worked on ..and how long would that take?

While this was happening, we had all hands on deck verifying every database and ensuring there were no other holes or doors they could use. Verification of all databases is in the final stages and we expect to be online next week, if not sooner.

The centralized nature of this coin leaves it open to this type of data loss/hacking problem.  Im curious about the veracity of the supposed backdoor.  I bet that would be incredibly easy to implement if it was your own creation.  I wonder how the typical company prevents this type of thing?  The chance of blackmail is huge here.

Backdoor or his back pocket?

Maybe he got caught siphoning off coins by his own system or staff and needed to find a way to explain it to whatever remaining staff he has.  Easy to blame your theft on an ex-employee.

If you have to quote this low life for the sake of us that have him on ignore strike out his comment so we don't have to read his vile.  Much appreciated.

The proper question isn't "who keeps dumping", but "who the hell keeps buying" this POS (and I don't mean staking) coin.

personally, I don't get why the price remains > 1 satoshi...

Wouldn't that be a brilliant plan to make XPY price go to $20, $50, and the moon. Put a permanent hold on withdrawals Grin

Come one favelle, you can figure out who's dumping. Think. Come over here if you need help.

And just a couple short months ago Favelle was here on BCT all cocky and bragging about XPY price:

Its not going to stay at $20. It will be lucky to stay at $2.

They are dreaming about it lasting generations, great bit of humor there Grin

Can you please let me know when its $2?  Thanks.

Sure dumbass, consider this your free wake up call: It was $2 a MONTH ago, or 1 month after you wrote that idiocy when Paycoin was briefly near $20.

I just realized zencloud will let you work through the withdrawal process, send a SMS code and then tell you withdrawals are suspended at the very last step.
The "Cloud Mining disabled" title should say Cloud Mining and withdrawals disabled" or even better, "this website is pretty much shutdown and the fat lady will be singing soon"
or
"Cloud Mining, Markets and Withdrawals are disabled" sounds closed to me

They was hackered:

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=857670.msg10624141#msg10624141

I didn't think it was possible to spin it positively, but I obviously underestimated - here's a "glass half full" interpretation I saw posted somewhere:

"This proves that there is a coordinated attack against Paycoin" or something along those lines.

Has HJG "announced" who (he thought) it was yet?

Incoming

(I think they'll have some document out soon accusing someone of this, which the ht crowd will eat up. I wouldn't be surprised if they didn't release it due to "legal", though.)

Another serving of pure idiocy from HT. They are all convinced that they are on a "Team" and Josh is the quarterback. These fucking idiots simply can not figure out that Josh is on Josh's team and his game plan is to put THEIR money in HIS pocket.

Nice photoshop job moron, except you missed one detail.  All of those pretty red candles on the charts every day are Josh giving YOU the finger, ya fucking dumbass.

This is Josh's Happy Dump Dance he goes into after giving you morons the big red Dump Finger every day.

Maybe it's like the infamous 1mh-prime-is-really-25Mh fiasco...where supposedly they lost a lot of money...
I was just thinking about that one yesterday (another conspiracy theory)

since you guys are quiet and boring today, i'll bring back this topic. Not sure if it was discussed much back then. It's one of those things that was not a broken promises but it was or should have been a massive wake up call for a lot of people. The way they handled this whole fiasco showed it was managed by a team of amateurs ( at best).
Out of blue, 1Mh primes were really 25Mh primes (nobody knew how this happened, i don't think it was ever revealed). GAW knew about it because people reported it to the resellers and the resellers informed GAW. GAW knew about it, yet they did nothing. They shrugged it off as not true from what I heard. Around the same time (can't remember if before or after) , they gave (sold to) the resellers marked up primes (because they were not going to be sold anymore and ) so they would sell them at over $60.
Josh also made people think they were going to be worth over $80-90 once the market opened.
when the market opened, it was indeed high if I remember correctly, but then the prices crashed due to those that had 25Mh. They split them up and then they sold them for as low as $30 or so before GAW closed the market.
A lot of people  sold low because they thought that was the market price, but it was only because of GAW's gross negligence (or something else worse)..
They also locked up people's money for several days.
They did not even apologize to those that sold low because of their own stupidity (and of course there was no compensation).
(i may have missed/forgotten some details about this, feel free to add)

for a later discussion
-how the resellers were screwed by GAW
-how the buybacks of hashlets only happened whenever Josh wanted
