What exactly do you want to do? To place a simple Limit order, you should stay in the "Simple" Tab. That is usually all you need.
The + and - on the Advanced page does mean "market price - the number you type in".
So if the market price is 855 (market price is the price of last executed order I guess) and you type in - 850 , you will place an order at limit price 5€/BTC.
Thank you for your explanation Serpens66 but it is still not totally clear to me. What I really need to do it is SELL STOP LOSS LIMIT orders for my Bitcoin and it is possible doing them only in the advanced tab. When you select this type of order the tab has already pre selected the "-" in the "Stop Price" row, the "+" is even not possible to select it. If for example in the Stop I select the "=" and I type 800$ this means if the highest price in the Bids (Buying) of the Order book drop to 800$ or below (also "or below" right?) then sell the Bitcoins at for example 790$ Limit price. Is this correct? If instead in the STOP I select the "-"and as before I type 800$ as Stop and 790$ as Limit, what does it change? And also in the Limit Price I can choose the "+-=", why? If someone can please explain me also making a couple of examples with numbers, that's would be great. Or else if can link me a place where i can read precise explanations, I mean i'm not lazy, I just need to learn because now i'm not able to set STOP LOSS LIMIT selling orders which can be pretty helpful. I read the Kraken guide but it is not that precise and detailed in the explanations, it even don't mentions these "+-=" options. I already explained you with an example what the "-" and "+" is for. There is nothing special about them, simply "market price +- the number you type in" that is all. It has nothing to do with stop loss or anything. In you case, all you need is the "=", I would never use the - or +. And yes, your example with 800 und 790 is correct. Just read the hint below the "OrderType you chose. If you choose Sell and Stop Loss Limit, then there is written: "Sell at a fixed price once market price <= stop price." |

Guys I have little experience on trading plus English it's not my native language since I'm Italian (actually my native language it's Venice countryside dialect  ). So i have some doubts when I perfom orders on Kraken. For example in a BUY order of Bitcoin using USD with a LIMIT price, I am not sure I understand the meaning of the "+=-" symbols near the word "Limit Price". If you go over the "+" a note appears saying "positive offset from market price". If I click on the "+" does this "positive offset" means for example in a BUY order for 10 Bitcoin with a Limit Price of 800$ but with a market price (the market price is unknown right?) of 795$ then the order will be executed at the 795$ price? jetzt steht komischerweise wieder dieser kleine Betrag ฿0.xxxxx als Maximum withdrawal da  Kann man bei Kraken nur mehr in Kleinstbeträgen BTC seriell versenden? Bei deposit gibt es ja kein limit... beim Deposit gilt dasselbe limit ... ah ne, deposit gibts nur ein limit bei Fiat einzahlungen...zumindest laut verify Seite... aber bei mir wird ein limit angezeigt... strange Aber da bei dir steht 0 / 5000 , liegt es ja offenbar nicht am Erreichen des daily limits, wie ich gedacht hab. Könntest höchstens nochmal gucken, ob du offene Margin Positionen hast und sonst bleibt dir da nur der Support. Falls du aus Deutschland bist, könnte es theoretisch auch daran liegen, dass du nur Tier2 bist, obwohl alle Deutschen Tier3 sein müssen.. war zumindest mal so, weiß nicht ob das noch immer gilt. Allerdings ist dann die Frage, warum kleinstbeträge funktionieren. |

Jetzt stell dir mal vor, ich zahle mit den Coins die ich 2012 bei 4 €, 12,50€ und 36€ gekauft habe und 2013 bei 250€ meinen neuen TV. Wie soll man das jemals auseinanderrechnen können und vor allen Dingen, wo muss man das angeben?
Willkommen in der unglaublich komplizierten Welt von Bitcointradern  Was meinst du warum wir auf Tools wie aus meiner Signatur "Cointracking" angewiesen sind. Aber in deinem Beispiel gibts keine Probleme, da natürlich weiterhin die Haltefrist von 1 Jahr gilt. Und bei FiFo verkauft man automatisch immer die ältesten Coins, sodass man als hodler meistens nichts zu befürchten hat, sofern man schon länger als ein Jahr dabei ist. |

Bei der Gewinnermitlungsvariante ermittelt er den Gewinn. Vorteil, die Kosten (für die Beschaffung 1000 Euro Einkauf) mindern den Gewinn 1000 Euro = 0.
Aaaaber! Die restlichen Bitcoin bleiben in seiner Bilanz und sämtliche Erträge sind und bleiben Steuerpflichtig!

Die restlichen Bitcoin werden wie jedes andere Fremdwährungskonto bewertet.
a) Bilanzpflichtig.
Bilanzpflichtig bedeutet der theoretische Gewinn für die restlichen Bitcoin ist zum Jahresende zu versteuern. Sind die Bitcoin nächstes Jahr mehr oder weniger Wert, wieder (Zugewinn) zahlen oder (Buchverlust) gewinnmindernd gegenrechnen.

b) Einnahmenüberschussrechnung (EÜR): Nur angefallene Erträge sind zu versteuern.
Bedeutet für deinen Bekannten. Will er Einkauf 1000 Euro gegen Verkauf 1000 Euro gegenrechnen bleiben die restlichen Bitcoin für immer Steuerpflichtig. Auch wenn er nach April 2017 nur noch 100 Euro dafür erhielte.

Nice  I will think about adding my reflink to my signature But... as usual an advise how you could improve it further: I think the most successful Affiliate System, is a system where the new user also gets a small advantage. So e.g you could reduce trading fees for one week for the new user which uses a Reflink. Or a tiny amount of bitcoins for free, after he verificates his account. Most users are afraid of Ref-Links, if they don't give them any advantage. |

Wir hatten in diesem Thread letztens zumindest über den Handel auf Bitcoinbörsen diskutiert und sind zu dem Schluss gekommen, dass die "Hürden" sehr hoch sind, um als gewerblich eingestuft zu werden, und dass es auf die allerwenigsten Bitcointrader zutrifft. Am besten ab der Hälfte vom folgenden Post lesen, da es ab dort Bezüge zu Rechtsurteilen gibt und das davor eig alles nur spekulation ist (iudica war eig vorher der Auffassung, dass vieles schon gewerblich ist, hat dann aber seine Meinung aufgrund der zitierten Urteile geändert, deswegen liest sich der Post etwas komisch ^^): https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1616661.msg16319669#msg16319669Wie das allerdings mit Offline Trading aussieht weiß ich nicht genau. Mein Steuerberater schrieb mir, dass ich trotzdem LiFo nehmen kann. Ich weiß leider nicht inwiefern ich die exakte Antwort hier schreiben darf... Ich fasse das Fazit mal mit eigenen Worte zusammen: Weil Bitcoin keine Währung ist und wenn sie nicht im Rahmen eines Gewerbes gehandelt werden, darf das Verfahren selbst gewählt werden, weil es nicht vorgegeben ist. Wäre bitcoin eine Währung, dann würde §23 Absatz 1 Nummer 2 Satz 3 gelten (nicht sicher ob bezeichnungen richtig, steht jedenfalls in der ersten Hälfte von $23 ESTG): "Bei Anschaffung und Veräußerung mehrerer gleichartiger Fremdwährungsbeträge ist zu unterstellen, dass die zuerst angeschafften Beträge zuerst veräußert wurden. " |

@polister: ah, danke für die Erklärung Auf EÜR kam ich, weil das der allererste Vorschlag war, von dem ich gelesen hatte, noch bevor man sich mehr oder weniger auf FiFo geeinigt hatte und bevor Bitcoin als irgendwas eingestufft wurde: http://www.frag-einen-anwalt.de/Bitcoin--f228068.htmlist zwar ein interessanter Beitrag, aber vermutlich dann doch das allermeiste falsch ? OK, fertig.
Nun kann zwischen 3 Umrechnungs-Methoden gewählt werden.
Außerdem steht bei allen neu erstellten Reports die gewählte Umrechnung in der Steuer Tabelle "Übersicht der erstellten Steuer Reports".

Interessanterweise sagt mein FA sogar das Verbrauchsfolgeverfahren wie FIFO/LIFO bei Bitcoin nicht zwingend verwendet werden müssen sondern ich auch nach Durchschnittspreisen berechnen dürfte oder per Einzelcointracking (wie auch immer das funktionieren soll)

Ich habe auch fest vor LIFO zu verwenden (zumindest wenn die Wahl FiFo oder LiFo ist) Das klingt aufjedenfalls sehr interessant, dass auch andere Methdoen zulässig sein könnten?! Innerhalb eines Jahres, muss man sich ja für eine Methode entscheiden. Aber kann man sich theoretisch jedes Jahr die Methode mit dem geringsten Gewinn raussuchen? Besonders Durchschnittspreis oder falls erlaubt Einnahmenenüberschussrechnung, bringen ja nochmal völlig andere Eregbnisse... so gesehen bin ich eher ein wenig verwirrt, weil ich fast sicher bin, dass immer eine dieser berechnungsmöglichkeiten einen extrem kleinen Gewinn ausgibt, sodass man sich dadurch um die steuer herumschummeln könnte... Durchschnitts und einnahmenüberschuss ist aber glaube ich nicht möglich wenn man am Ende des Jahres noch Coins besitzt, weil man da keine Bewertung des Restbesstandes hat, oder? Ich mein bei EÜR kann man am Ende des Jahres einfach nochmal viele BTC kaufen, erhält somit hohe Ausgaben = "Verlust". Dann verkauft man die Bitcoins einfach am Jahrensanfang wieder und kann so seinen Gewinn von einem Jahr in das nächste schieben usw usw. , oder? |

Our Web platform uses order mechanism from MetaTrader4. There are 4 types of Pending Orders:
Buy Limit – The current price level is higher than the value of the placed order. Orders of this type are usually placed in anticipation of that the security price, having fallen to a certain level, will increase;
Buy Stop – The current price level is lower than the value of the placed order. Orders of this type are usually placed in anticipation of that the security price, having reached a certain level, will keep on increasing;
Sell Limit – The current price level is lower than the value of the placed order. Orders of this type are usually placed in anticipation of that the security price, having increased to a certain level, will fall;
Sell Stop – The current price level is higher than the value of the placed order. Orders of this type are usually placed in anticipation of that the security price, having reached a certain level, will keep on falling.
And how do they work in practice? When order price is reached, the order becomes market order, so it is sent to the market and being executed (whole order) at the best available price. Open price which you set in pending order does not guarantee that order will be executed at this price.
Okay, if I understood it correctly, you transform a limit buy order into a limit stop buy order, if "current price level is lower than the value of the placed order". I thought the follwing usecase would not be possible with that: Usage:
The EUR/USD price is fluctuating between 1.042 and 1.041. The price changes quickly every second. I would like to sell for 1.042, not for 1.041. With the "market order" it is very hard to get the better price. Here I would need the limit order, to make sure I get 1.042. But I think it is still possible, when simply placing a pending sell order at 1.042... but I'm not 100% sure, since this does mean "if price reaches 1.042, make a market order". So in fact I could get a worse price than 1.042 ? So is there a way to make sure I get exactly the price of 1.042? |

If you place Pending Order with direction SELL and open price 1.0390 then it will work exactly as you say. ?! Then I misunderstood something. There is a difference between "Limit Order" and "Limit Stop Order". - A limit order is an order that will rest in an "orderbook" at the given price (I know there is no orderbook at simplefx, but that does not matter). It is active as soon as you made the request. In case of an limit sell order, if the chosen price is lower then the acutal market price, a limit order will act as an market order up to the chosen price and if there is an restamount, this restamount will rest in orderbook. Example:EUR/USD is at 1.042. When I place a limit sell order for 1.04 it will sell the whole amount immediately, up to 1.04. If there is still an amount left, the order will rest at 1.04 until someone else buys them at this price. Usage:The EUR/USD price is fluctuating between 1.042 and 1.041. The price changes quickly every second. I would like to sell for 1.042, not for 1.041. With the "market order" it is very hard to get the better price. Here I would need the limit order, to make sure I get 1.042. - A limit stop order works different. It is not active right after the request. It will become an active limit order, as soon as the Stop price is reached. Usually you have the "Stop price" and a "limit price". A limit order is placed at limit price as soon as the stop price is reached. Example:EUR/USD is at 1.042. When I place a limit stop sell order for a stop price of 1.04, I don't want to sell now. I want to sell, as soon as the market price goes below 1.04. If I did not specified an additional limit price, it will be a market price sell. Usage:I think 1.04 is an important number and in case the price goes below it, it might go down much further. So I only want to sell, if the price goes below 1.04. You told me now, that your "pending order" is the same like limit order and the same like stop limit order. But since these are two different mechanics, that can't be true?! Could you please describe how a pending order works, using the description pattern I used above? I would like to be able to place both kind of orders at simplefx. Unfortunately not, but it will probably be available in the future generation of our platform.
