US womens team looked uninspired out there.  Not sure if other teams have caught up in talent or that there is a lack of talent on the US side.  Either way Sweden sldeserved to win that game.  Not so sure I'd like to see the US side play Japan, they are eons better right now.

I'm good with what the rest of the league is good with.  In terms of kickers I do prefer to keep kickers in the league, I've won and lost by what the kicker has done.  Played right they can help you.  I put defense in the same category, not high up in terms of importance but can swing a game.  Either way I'm excited for football (and fantasy) back!
1063  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Importance of Gambling to the society on: August 05, 2023, 06:33:33 PM
This board has a lot of topic that comprises with the negativity about gambling addiction. Let’s change it for now to support the casino we are promoting here.

Gambling is important to the society because it provides huge taxes that government use on hospitals, infrastructure and other projects to help its citizens. Monacco country is popular with their casino but they don't allow its citizen to play. This shows how important gambling in their country because they still allowed to operate it even though they don't want citizens to be involved.

In our country, Our lottery use the proceeds to donate on the health center that provides free health service to our citizens.

Even if gambling commonly view as negative by commoner. Many didn't notice how big is the contribution of gambling to the society.

What is the benefits of gambling to your society?

Entertainment.  People pay $500 to go to a sporting event for entertainment.  I feel like gambling is the same thing.  If you enjoy it than it's worth the run even if you lose.  It's when gambling doesn't become fun but rather a need is when it slides into negativity.
1064  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIFA World Cup 2026 :Canada/Mexico/United States: Discussion Thread on: August 05, 2023, 05:01:16 AM
The US held World Cup was brilliantly held in 1994 when the technology and infrastructure was not as advanced as is now although the freedom even there was the same in the USA.I don't care much what Qatar did and if they ruined their reputation or not but overall I think they made their country well known into the world as no one would know Qatar without this event,no one would know this well about Qatar without this event.

In the countries where it will be held in 2026 it will be one of the most beautiful World Cups ever as the fans are awesome in these countries, and even their national leagues, mainly MLS has become a major sport in US while in 1994 was not that big.
Yeah, US is one of the best country which can organize sporting events at their best and their history about this is also very good because we have too many big events in this country still one of the best fanbase as well for the sports even not like we have for the NFL and MLB but still can expect good gatherings during this event with completely new image of soccer after having problematic event in Qatar even this was also not bad at all.

Now most chances 2026 Soccer world cup is going to have set new trends for the soccer world because mostly we have many new things and technologies from them for big events with now three countries are sharing this all which is also amazing and new experience with 48 teams are going to take part first time as well.

The advantage that the US has over other countries is that with major sports arenas built across the country is that they don't need to build anything new.  They can leverage existing infrastructure to build out for the world cup.  My concern is with Mexico.  They play at a significantly higher sea level than US or Canada.  When the US plays Mexico in the US vs in Mexico its 2 completely different games than each other.  Going to be interesting how the draws occur and the location they play in.  Canada is wildly different than Mexico.
1065  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: August 05, 2023, 04:56:26 AM
The Lakers giving Anthony Davis $186,000,000 with a three year extension seems a bit insane given how much time he has missed. He’d better start staying healthy for the amount of money they’re giving him. 62 million dollars when he only plays about 50 games in a good year seems like like overpaying. I sure hope that contract doesn’t come back to bite them.

Anthony Davis is eligible for the maximum contract extension with that huge worth. Therefore, if the given contract is probably below, Davis might just spend the remaining 2 years on his contract and then consider leaving. What the Lakers do is secure him early despite being an injured prone.

In fairness to Anthony Davis, he's the only player I know that even an injury prone, he can unleash his monster performance right away after returning to play.

Referring to his last season performance, Davis was able to keep his average percentage after being sidelined for several games.

Yeah but the NBA is a contract cap league not like the major league baseball league.  Meaning if AD is injured the Lakers won't have any room to sign anyone else.  They are locked into Lebron and AD and both are older and on the downward trajectory of theor careers.  They will sell seats but they aren't going to win anything with old dudes sucking up all the cap room.

Sorry but I am biased with the Philippines yeah I really don't want to be regarding that this is a Sport where everything can surely happen but As I watch the games of the Philippines against Iran I was quite amazed at what the Philippines can do now on what I remember back then here is the video of the friendly match for the Philippines VS Iran https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RbDGSnED7ZA

And against Senegal, I really think that the Philippines did great in this match and this is without Kai Sotto, Jordan Clarkson, and Scottie Thompson, pretty much the Philippines team is making progress in their training for sure they will make a big impact when Kai Sotto, Jordan Clarkson would play with them, here is the Philippines VS Senegal game, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kdIux7z8r3w

I read through this entire thread and honestly was trying to see what this tourney was all about.  Was shocked to see Jordan Clarkson plays for the Philippines.  Has he always played for them in international play?  I'm a huge fan of his play in the NBA but just always thought he was of US dissent. He reminds me of Lou Williams career.  6th man type but who.could star on a younger type team.
1067  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: My new favorite betting method. on: August 04, 2023, 09:37:50 PM
The logic behind this betting method isn't complex at all. You bet $2 on x2 and on the next bet you sum +1 to the bet amount and it looks something like this:

Code:
$2 - x2
$3 - x3
$4 - x4
$5 - x5
...
$10,000 - x10,000

I know, in the example looks like a lot of money to bet, but now think about starting from 0.00000002 BTC or better known as 2 satoshis, with increments of 1 satoshi, you can be betting in the long run with 0.001 btc.

To do this I hire a guy to make a betting bot for a casino, and is looking good, is really hard to find a losing run with it.

So, what do you think about this betting method, Has someone tried it in the past?
NBA.

Every "method" has its flaws there is no full proof way to consistently beat the casinos or it would be replicated by everyone and eventually there wouldn't be any casinos.  Gamble for fun if you win great if you lose oh well have fun doing it.  Maybe it works maybe it doesn't I'd like to see some data behind all of your bet results to see how much if any you swing the odds into your favor.

Agreed, I can't see any teams throwing big money at guys in theor 30s with injury histories.  Paul george and kawhi come to mind.  Knick fans were pleading to try to get Paul george via a trade lol.  Dude is 34 and in the last 4 years the most games he has ever played is like 50 games.  Throwing big money at guys who can't lace up is a recipe for lottery picks incoming.  186 seems crazy for sure.  Chances are he won't last on the court, injuries don't get better with age in the nba.
1069  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIFA Women’s World Cup 2023 on: August 04, 2023, 09:32:18 PM
Wow! That's a pretty high confidence for a team that just recently broke history by qualifying for this round in their first time. whatsoever Morocco is as a surprise to anyone watching this women world cup and I for one has been amazed by their excellent performance. Although it's quite clear that African teams have done pretty well this time looking at the likes of Nigeria and Morocco who has already qualifed for the next round.
Morocco made history in both Men's And women's World Cup whether in Qatar or in Australia and New Zealand. In Men's competition they were able to reach the semifinals. This time I don't know if their Women could pass France in the round of 16. Odds for Morocco are x16 vs 1.17 for france. Nigeria x12 and South Africa x10. That's quite a sad ending for the African team in this competition?

Yeah Africa has had a nice showing in this cup.  Women's is much more volatile in terms of who can win where men's is much more predictable.  Might throw a couple long shots out there and see if one of them goes through.  Always like a good underdog story I will be rooting for them regardless.
1070  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Terrence Crawford vs Errol Spence - July 29 on: August 04, 2023, 09:24:28 PM

So now, we will wait what will be the official PPV numbers and it has somewhat around 500k-800k or even break the 1 million mark.

The numbers are already out, Errol Spence Jr. Vs Terence Crawford PPV Buys Reach 700k, Bring In $50 Million In Revenue
Quote
The highly anticipated boxing match between Terence Crawford and Errol Spence Jr. was a huge success, generating an estimated 700,000 pay-per-view buys and bringing in more than $50 Million in revenue. This is the highest number of buys for a boxing PPV since Floyd Mayweather Jr. vs. Manny Pacquiao in 2015.

You prediction is correct, the PPV buys is lower than the Garcia vs Davis fight but of course it's still a big success.

No doubt it was highly anticipated.  Unifying those belts and the career win that Crawford needed to solidify his legacy.  Doesn't take much anymore though the decent boxing matches that are worth ppv have gone dramatically so when one pops up it will get more hits than it would have in the past.  Worth the price on this one.  I will buy round 2 of this fight.

I guess everyone is waiting for round 2. But there are also boxing pundits that says that a rematch is not needed as it was overwhelming performance. However, if the fight is 154 lbs in which fans of Spence says that he was weight drain at 147 lbs and Crawford knows it, could be a different outcome.

So for me if there is a rematch, the numbers might not be as close as the first one. Even the GGG vs Canelo rematch was way below in revenues in terms of PPV as compare to the first one, if I'm not mistaken.

That's the beauty of the contract is that as part of the deal the lower can enact a rematch within 30 days of the match and it needs to go off by the end of 2023.  There is no way Spence doesn't lock this in.  If he ducks the rematch that's what his legacy will end up with.  And the money on the table is gonna be huge.  Whether it's needed or not it's likely Spence signs up for it.
1071  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: EXPECTIONS FROM LITECOIN HALVING on: August 03, 2023, 08:58:16 PM
There are few days left until the next LTC halving. I understand that a new huge milestone in any of the major crypto generally causes a positive response in the entire market; an example being the recent court judgement in favor of XRP that saw market responding positively. So, do we expect some positive response from the LTC halving? If yes, to what extent can this impact on the general market condition?

Just mentioned this in another thread but litecoin halving does literally nothing in terms of momentum building for any market.  It's price movement is directly in line with what the overall market is doing.  The only coin to drive markets is and always was bitcoin.  Once bitcoin moves one way or another everything else follows.  It's not hard to see the cycles.
1072  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIFA Women’s World Cup 2023 on: August 03, 2023, 08:54:24 PM
The performance from the African teams were the big discussion of the ongoing season of FIFA Women's World Cup. In the knockout stage matches we can expect more surprises. England stands strong as the favourite to win the trophy. However the determination from the small teams were great and the same will keep them going forward. Japan is the only team on the knockout stage, with its tremendous performance I believe Japan can reach the quarter finals.
Morocco made a surprise by passing the Group stage thanks to a victory vs Colombia and the draw the German team made! Germany won 6 - 0 vs Morocco then Morocco qualify and Germany leave the World Cup!
South Africa made it too, kicking Italy and Argentina from the competition. Brazil wasn't lucky too along with Portugal and Canada.
South Africa will face Netherlands, Nigeria vs England and Morocco vs France will be challenging for the African team at this point

Yeah imagine that a team who list by 6 against another team made it out and the winning team didn't lol.  That's why betting girls soccer is so difficult.  You wouldn't see that happen on the men's side.  If someone gets licked like that by any team they never make it out.  Makes the US getting through look better though lol.
1073  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: August 03, 2023, 08:52:21 PM
It would not be wise to keep Dame, but it would be unwise to trade him for nothing as well. Portland wants to just rebuild, and for that to happen they need a lot of picks, picks that Miami can't give because they do not end up with bad results, certainly won't with Dame as well.

There needs to be a third team, and Miami has to find someone who would be willing to give a good pick in exchange for someone. That way, whatever Heat have as picks, and whatever the third team has for picks would go to Blazers, Dame would go to Miami, but who would go to that third team? Well there aren't really that many players Miami have that worth high picks, this is why this trade hasn't been made so far and that's causing a little trouble.

I mean Portland can certainly keep him it's not like he is going to sit out.  Be worth a mint come the trade deadline in February for a fringe title contender.  Can flush more picks out mid year than up front.  I can see Dame staying put for the beginning of the season.

Right now I'm bullish on polygon.  They have some pretty cool things in the works and has a relatively cheap platform compared to some of the other ones.  When every other project was stale or rugging everyone polygon team has kept building out its vision.  I'd take a serious look at picking some up.
1076  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: How are your exchange tokens performing at the moment? on: August 02, 2023, 09:48:47 PM
this year has been quite turbulent for some altcoins, especially exchange tokens. I've invested in a few and performance-wise, only a handful of them have shown decent growth throughout the year. How about you? Do you have any exchange tokens in your holdings, and what are your thoughts on their market performance this year? Let's discuss our experiences and perspectives on how these tokens have been faring in this volatile market.

I mean I think they are right in line with every other coin here.  Way off it's all time high and pretty much flat lining.  In a market like this there isn't much money to be made in the short term.  If ypu are really bullish on one of them then now is the time for accumulation.  Profits will come later.
1077  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling experience using loan money on: August 02, 2023, 09:47:14 PM
I knew that there's many topic like this in the past that askingSuns.

ce about loaning for gambling. The intention of this thread is determined what's the actual feeling when you are using a loan money on gambling knowing that there's an interest rate on your borrowed money which means you already lose part of your money before you start gambling.

I saw many high rank users here that asking for loan and directly deposit the loan amount on gambling account. I want to know what's the experience on using loan money. Is there additional pressure on gameplay or just the same using regular money without an interest rate.

It's an interesting topic, but I don't think we can see any variety of responses here - it seems obvious to me that people are under extra pressure when they play with borrowed money. Naturally, there are some not quite normal people who do not believe that they can lose, so they feel calm until the moment of failure. Playing for borrowed money is extremely bad, but in fact it is a kind of all in - if a player loses, he loses the collateral under which he took out a loan. In fact, this is not much different from the loss of a deposit.

It is very different.  If the loan is uncollateralized than it will sink you into debt that is sometimes hard to get out of.  I don't think anyone under any circumstance should take out a loan to gamble.  It might ruin your ability to take out a loan when you really need it for something like a mortgage, car, etc.  If ypu can pay it off fast than just wait until ypu have the money.

One on one is way different than team ball.  This kid would look absolutely lost on an nba court right now.  Beal will be fine, he is going to get a lot of spacing with book and Durant on the court as well.  I wouldn't worry if I was the suns.
1079  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIFA Women’s World Cup 2023 on: August 02, 2023, 09:41:36 PM
This will be another test for USA because of course we know how strong Sweden was in the group stage and it could be that if USA performs the same as in the group stage maybe it will be very difficult for them to qualify for the quarter-finals.

This is where my doubts about the USA come in. Have they really given all they are capable of? I don't think so...

I think that the USA, in the group stage, was sure they would pass because they considered being in an easy group. And that was noticeable, because it left some of the best players on the bench in the game against Portugal.

So I guess now is when we get to see the real USA women's soccer team.

I tend to agree a little.  The hard part will be losing rose Lavelle for a game.  This one is going to be tough and then on the back end of it they could face Japan in the quarters.  They definately didn't do themselves any favors but they are still one of the teams to beat here.  My money is on them to pass through sweden.
1080  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: July 31, 2023, 09:48:36 PM
They are good but they can still be matched. The Suns last season was fresh and do not have chemistry. They should be better this year with all the talent they have. Giannis was injured in the playoffs. It could have been a different story if he stayed healthy in the post season. The Nuggets are strong but other teams are getting stronger as well. The competition is still very strong.

The Suns were the only team that were able to give good competition to the Nuggets, so I think you have a point that they are going to be even better next season. Although they lost CP3, he wasn't significant enough to the success of the Suns due to injury issues. However, having Bradley Beal on the team takes them to the next level. Let's just hope that the big 3 will be able to stay healthy throughout the season.

And we also need to see that the Denver Nuggets have a line up change, I mean their core is still intact, but I think losing Bruce Brown who did contribute to their championship run in both defense and offense, could be missed by the Nuggets as well.

So let's see any team in the West that will challenge the Nuggets at least in the first half of the season. Suns has upgraded with the Beal acquisition and so is the Warriors and then the Lakers too. So very tough Western conference and there will be a lot of challenge for the defending champs.

Lakers are another year older for theor main stars I can't see them putting any real pressure up top.  Suns if healthy will certainly push Denver.  The 2 wild cards are okc and Sacramento.  Sacramento was a pice or 2 away with some of theor stars getting into theor prime.  Okc shoukd start to reap the benefits of all their draft picks as well as sga going into his prime.  In the end, I'd still take Denver to win the west.
