Hey guys

Yesterday i've had an issue on primedice and while i was betting my balance gone to zero from 1 btc and my time was 20.02 eest and then i gone crazy and i was writing to people i am not busted but i just lost 1 btc why it happened and they told me to check transaction log and everything. When i gone into transaction log i have seen 2 transactions out of my wallet on 17.30! but i still had 1 btc when time was 20.02

here is the link for both of transactions

https://blockchain.info/tx/0edf18eb039310670ab34fe2453ab541e799b4a34ee088496751a05ef158fc7c
https://blockchain.info/tx/0df74f4ea47a594b28f65f721e08a1b5ad1172b93d7795131cebfd04e9dfc3bb

and here is my bets that i didnt even made. And i didnt made any transaction my account was running always on autobet and i never use any bots additional software or anything else. Also made a malware scan but there was nothing. And also I HAVE 2FA enabled. So how did it happen? Mods told write e mail to support i wrote and plus they said post on primedice topic. So i post here too. That blockchain wallet is always playing luckybit from the UK. Since it is not possible for me to go to UK for betting and i do connect all the time with Turkish ip address which is my own ip adress and i never use any proxy Stunna can see that in his site log i think. Can you guys help me out here? I feel little sad about loss of a 1 btc and how it happened. Thanks in advance

Regards

sry man ,similar thing happened to me and 2 weeks have passed and still no answer from support ...it seams primedice is becoming the next mt gox

If you see amount u are missing on transaction log or tip log , then that means somebody else got access to your account and cashed out that amount .

Which means its gone and there is nothing pd support can do about it other than check if that money went to another pd account.

if account was password protected and i had no malware/virus/trojan installed it means that it is pd's fault,i don't care about the money ,all i want is an apology from pd and to recognize that it is their fault ... else you guys just lost a player...

Well micro this is starting to be annoying. I have 2fa and i have 16 letter uppercase lovercase and numbers password. So this is my fault still? I had no malware and i waas using the computer only for primedice because it was a crappy computer which i dont use for anything.

And support has to anyways answer in maximum 2 days. You are not a support team of 70 million player. I am saying i got scammed and you are saying to me we cant do anything. If nothing at least it happened while i am still betting and traansaction shows 17.40 but trouble happened on 20.02 with my time. do you get it? I am living in eastern europe not in the UK! even if i used vpn i couldnt change my time! Wake up! and is that so hard to see 1HMWtMUiz5r1wT54vM2b6oK7vjoQkfdCB4 who is making withdrawal with this? What if he starts to cause bigger trouble for primedice in the future? what if he starts to steal bigger amounts?

There's never been a situation ever where balance vanished or was randomly bet away. Did anyone ask you to run any programs or paste anything in your console during your times on the website? I'll send you a PM to follow up, the way our system works is basically all or nothing. I'll still forward this to our developer to have him look into it.

Stunna & Primedice
Very interesting. Although it is too bad that more technical details were not revealed, and that it is too bad that he made away with so much money, it is nice to see that at least one bitcoin related casino is operating honestly.

I would be curious to know if such an exploit would have been possible on PD2. If not then do you think it might have been better to have never "upgraded" to PD3, and simply added additional features to PD2?

Although it is really not anyone's business, I am sure that many people are very curious as to what the overall profitability is of both PD overall, and PD3.

One thing that was notably missing from the report was the bitcointalk account names that you are aware of for the people in question. I have noticed that you apparently have not left any negative trust ratings referencing what could be concluded to be this incident (although to be fair, a single negative rating is far from worth a million plus dollars).

I would also be curious to know if you have any leads as to who you think the perpetrator might be or any other related leads regarding him.

PD2 used a weaker provably fair system that featured a daily secret thus making it impossible to perform this on there. The simple fix was making it so no two accounts could have the same server seed hash.

Also, I had a decent idea of who it was but honestly I wasn't able to 100% confirm it and there is pretty much nothing non-violent I could do to recover the funds. I haven't quite reached my mob boss potential.

If someone has the ability to figure out where the coins went, that would be cool. He probably mixed decently well though.

The hufflepuff report as promised:

https://medium.com/@Stunna/breaking-the-house-63f1021a3e6d

Definitely not the most interesting PD story, but probably the most expensive. It's proof of our naivety but also proof that we chose to play fair and lose a significant amount of money rather than attempt to cheat.
1084  Economy / Gambling / Re: Primedice.com | Most Popular & Trusted Bitcoin Game | Huge Community | Free BTC on: June 28, 2015, 05:54:56 PM
To be honest i have always felt that primedice is a higher level dicing service and the chat/mods kinda seem to ruin that expectation for gamblers, the chat makes the website look like a joke. That's the only thing i dont support.

I disagree with this because chat/mods dont ruin that. It is good to chat sometimes when you are bored with the game. What ruin PD is that the support service, it is a joke to wait for few days just to get yours asnwered. I hope that they live for the expectation as the top dice site

I like the chat, i just dont like most of the people that hang in there. I do agree about the support it is definetly a joke to wait days for a single reply, the main reason that this happens is because only the admins have access to support and that is not the way this business should be running. There should be group of people that are hired especially for the support team and anything that concerns security should just be forwarded to the admins.

Right now we've finally gotten to the point where there are no support tickets that are due to errors on our end. 90% of emails are with regards to account recovery by users with no email set and working through these in bulk is extremely challenging as in most cases these users provide no information and are unable to sign addresses etc. The faucet creates a massive support work-load, and we'll probably rework the faucet/bonus system entirely on our new website we're working on.
1085  Economy / Gambling / Re: Primedice.com | Most Popular & Trusted Bitcoin Game | Huge Community | Free BTC on: June 25, 2015, 06:30:14 PM
HUFFLEPUFF, the thing we've been waiting for months. Well many people did place their guesses how he(EDIT:Some people were even telling "Huflepuff" was a girl) could have done that but confirmed report from PD is better.

We've already told a few people about the specifics so it isn't a total mystery. A lot of people had some good guesses, it isn't a particularly exciting exploit but it definitely isn't something a normal user could have pulled off or known to do.

Just wait till you see our new site later this year. I'm confident it will be better than anything out there, bitcoin or not. I'm gonna try really hard not to tease/hype it up too much or make any promises on release dates this time around  Wink.

Also I'll post about hufflepuff this week. I wrote the report a long time ago but wasn't sure if we wanted to publish it, however I think it's important that we disclose it for both transparency and so other sites can learn from our mistakes and save themselves a million dollars.

Last thing, it's probably time we increase our max bet again. We've had a very conservative max bet since after the huffle issue, and I think we're missing out on some whale action as a result. We'll probably double it this week if the rest of the team agrees with me.

I think improvements to the site would be welcome, though I'm not sure what more you can do with just dice.  An easy improvement may be the chat lines not taking up so much space but that is pretty minor.

I think a max bet increase is long over due.  I also think some players are confused by the wager+win approach PD uses towards it.  Just set a max win and be done with it.  Good call to boost it.

Like everyone else, I am also interested in how Hufflepuff cheated you and am looking forward to reading the official account.  Maybe, if you are on good terms with them, you can share your report with some of the other dice site owners before releasing it to everyone if you think it is an exploit that could work on their sites as well.

Thanks for a great site and good luck!

The update I was referring to is the separate casino. Primedice will most likely receive a refresh later this year though, but there is only so much you can add to dicing. We've sort of hit the ceiling on dice in terms of what you can add, we've actually removed more features than we've added the past handful of months. We're reliant on this community for feedback with regards to what the next step is on dicing.
1086  Economy / Gambling / Re: Primedice.com | Most Popular & Trusted Bitcoin Game | Huge Community | Free BTC on: June 23, 2015, 05:47:40 PM
I sincerely believe that the dice for all as we know them , were tired , it's true, dice are exciting but eventually you lose the desire to play , from what I see other projects such as luckybit are taking more and more ' foot .
If I remember well some time ago in the social network of pd i read about new features to make it even more ' interactive site

1087  Economy / Gambling / Re: BitDice.me - Now incorporated in Costa Rica! on: June 15, 2015, 10:12:09 PM
Will you release the details of team members in your site now ? I believe, as you are leagally incorporated, there should not be much of a problem to this..
This is really great news. Would love to know about this ^ as well.
Seems this will get more investments if it protects the investors and gamblers from a potential dishonest casino operator. When do you guys plan to unveil the new game ?

Any lawyer worth his salt will probably tell you to have a third party agent incorporate a casino on your behalf. Incorporating does very little for the actual user, it does help the owner establish a banking connection/trust and cash out though.

I think incorporation actually reduces the protection of investors/gamblers as the liaibility is shifted from operator to company. That being said it's a wise decision to incorporate but I can't personally see any reason for it benefiting users. Then again, I'm not a lawyer.
1088  Economy / Gambling / Re: Someone should make agar.io for bitcoins on: June 12, 2015, 01:09:24 AM
Agar can't be turned into a skill based gambling game. The major issue is bots/hackers.

Example: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j13H5Pgx7mk

If anyone has a smart solution to this, our team would like to make a polished group skill based game.
1089  Economy / Gambling / Re: Primedice.com | Most Popular & Trusted Bitcoin Game | Huge Community | Free BTC on: June 10, 2015, 07:44:09 PM
but is it possible to invest if the investor contacts stunna personally?

Its never going to be possible. PrimeDice is one of the most succesfull dice site around and everyone would love to have a share of PrimeDice. Stunna and his private group manage to secure this site and fund the bankroll in the past, I doubt that they would want to let another people to put in some investment and share the profit of it

If you have his personal contact info and you want to try to convince him to take your money as an investment, go for it!  Lol.

I doubt Stunna will agree, Basically why would he want to share this site's profit to stranger while he can fund the site by himself and his private group though.  Cheesy Logic isnt it

The main reason we didn't take crowd funded investments were due to legality (SEC regs etc). But there's also other concerns. For example, another hufflepuff type scenario[I'll publish the post this week], and also the lack of provable fairness for investors. Ultimately it would be a significantly greater amount of stress with no major benefit for the bettor since we have sufficient bankroll to raise our maxbet beyond the competition if we wish to do so.

I can see certain benefits though, I'm sure volume would increase significantly and the community would grow as well. We might do it eventually, but at this moment we're not ready for the responsibility. Right now our focus is on building the greatest online casino of all time and maintaining/improving primedice.

Hi guys,
I think I'm in bad luck for today. Anyone have any idea to explain this can happen even I'm using 49.5% chance ?
Here's my red streak  Sad

You can ask Stunna to let you win everytime if thats what you want man Smiley
I don't know if this is a serious question or not but you've played dice before, you should've already know that this is normal..

This isn't too uncommon, if you are placing thousands of rolls you are likely to hit a streak like this at some point. There have been over 12,000,000 rolls the past 24h and there were probably loss streaks longer than this and win streaks as long as well.

I wanted to ask a question!! When can we expect a chat rainbot on Primedice?
Sorry for being Off-Topic Cheesy

It goes to active users , but who dont spam and such.

And only when hui is online.

Here check out rainbot faq : http://pdstats.co.nf/rainbot-faq.html
you mean active users on your website chat or who rolls actively and you dont have to participate in chat?

You need to be active in chat if you want to have chance getting some tip from the bot
this is why you can see a lot of spamming going on in primedice's chat. at least it was like this before. i haven't been there for a while since i had a loosing streak going on Smiley

There really isn't much spamming that occurs minus a few bad eggs a day. There are quite a few users and limited space, users who spam and beg are blacklisted by the rainbot.  The only time there is concerning amounts of spam is when highrollers start raining/tipping to users in the chat.
1095  Economy / Gambling / Re: Primedice.com | Most Popular & Trusted Bitcoin Game | Huge Community | Free BTC on: May 28, 2015, 12:39:16 AM
Russian chat broke down Wink
everything seems to work for me just fine do you still have any problems with it or it was just temporary issues?

If you refresh, then yes, it shows you the "russian" language, but when you actually type inside "привет" this is what you get.

That's very bizarre, will look into that today.
1096  Economy / Gambling / Re: Recent dadice.com development on: May 28, 2015, 12:03:05 AM

All of those sites offer investments and need to post that information for the peace of mind of their investors. Primedice does not accept investments and our users rarely store massive balances. Users frequently cash out their winnings, often less than a weeks worth of expected profit is comprised by balances.

That being said PD probably has a larger bankroll than any bitcoin dice site currently, at least from what I've seen. We made a simple mistake which allowed ourselves to have 2400 coins stolen from us via exploit but even at that exact moment we definitely had at least 10-20x the total stored PD balances locked away in cold storage. We've since  quickly re-couped those losses and made improvements to prevent that from happening again.

If we were to ever accept investments which I think is very unlikely, we would absolutely have proof of reserves available for users.

I don'tunderstand why peoeple doesn't enter the  email in profile , it was specially designed for these cases , if you haven't inserted your mail , do not complain about the timing

Some people dont because they do not want to be spammed with newsletter every 3 days or so. This happened quite alot if you are entering your email for subscription then be prepare to get your mailbox full of newsletter  ( some kind of traumatize )
Although Stunna has given his words on that the email will be solely use for account restoration, some people still tend to avoid providing their email since email is considered as a sensitive stuff to be known as well

As noted we will not send you any unsolicited emails. I checked one of my emails earlier and got 8 emails in 12 days from a casino I had signed up for and never even played on. Given that, it is crucial that you set your email for recovery purposes.

If that's a consideration (sensitive info) then you can always create a mail address just for that site.

Creating multiple email addresses is a wise idea, especially if they're used for bitcoin related sites. If you use one that's one consolidated point of attack and if it's compromised then you're screwed. Imagine if you used the same email for this forum, blockchain.info and PrimeDice (amongst others). You could easily have all your accounts cleaned out and lose your forum account here as well which can be worth a bit of money too.

Setting up 2FA on all accounts will simplify things quite a bit. You can only reset your PD password via the automated email system, not 2FA.

The only thing I am pushing, is in having a public cold wallet like all other sites. I have explained with fair arguments why and you still didn't come up with a valid reason not to do so.

And we have explained why we don't do this. As long as nobody is complaining here that withdrawals requests are not honored or an investor complaining that he requested his cold wallet and we don't comply - then I would agree with your concerns.

But we do process withdrawals all the time and we have a skype group where we are in personal contact with all our investors.

This thread has become a witch-hunt and by any means, we are not willing to take part in it. We have overtaken most other dice sites by rolls in less than 3 month, our members base is growing daily and so are the wagered amounts. But according to you guys all we do is wrong. Well we can leave 'Troll Central' as well, as mentioned earlier - and believe me, we would still go on on the fast lane of the road.

At the very least wouldn't you be willing to demonstrate proof of those coins to me privately? I can verify here. This doesn't just effect investors but also people who play on your website and are under the assumption that you have that amount of coins to payout with.

Something there is no shortage of is bitcoin dice sites and people will take their business/investments elsewhere. Your attitude that you don't need this community due to your vast success and growth rate is fine but at the end of the day you'd be another 999dice.

NLNico has made some very reasonable points and it's unprofessional to try and shrug him off.

Well you and your site are the seniors in this industry. Still you refused many times to show anybody your sites cold wallet, what is understandable. I have decided for now to disable investments, to stop these arguments here.

We have always privately funded our website and I'm sure if you dug around for five minutes you could find multiple cold storage addresses linked to PD. As far as I'm concerned you've confirmed that you did not have the coins you claimed, I offered a perfectly reasonable option for you to just privately sign an address and you rejected it for something more drastic.

1,000,000 BTC total wagered!

Just moments ago Smiley

Thanks everyone! We need to do something special to celebrate 2 years and 1MBTC wagered. If anyone has any great ideas let me know. We've done quite a few giveaways through social media but they are quite abusable.

I doubt that will happen anytime soon. He will come up with excuses for the same to prevent that from happening. But there is no reason to deny this.

If he is being truthful then he will have no issue sharing it with me. Sign a message, PM me the information and defend your reputation. Otherwise it is safe to assume that Dadice's arguments are simply excuses and the coins don't exist. If you weren't taking investments I wouldn't particularly care to be honest, but that demands a higher level of transparency.
