1101  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: July 22, 2023, 03:26:50 AM
James Harden posted on twitter that he’s been comfortable for too long and it’s time to get uncomfortable. I’m not exactly sure what he’s referring to since he hasn’t stayed on one team long enough to get comfortable. Maybe he’s talking about his routine that has him overweight and unable to perform at the level he once could. Who knows?
The hype around Lillard now went down already because there's no progress on it anymore. Now the media is finding another star that's included in the trade talks, and now it's Harden's turn.
It's a cryptic post, and I don't know what's the point of that one but... I think he wants to be out of his comfort zone so that he can be a good help with his team. As for him staying with the Sixers, I don't know if he wants to stay or not, but if no other team wants him this off-season, I guess he has no other choice but to stay.

Regarding him being overweight, I remembered the time where he is warming up with a very fatty body back when he was in the Rockets. That's at the start of the regular season. Maybe he's doing it again.

As for the Clippers, even if they will give up their future picks for James Harden, I don't see a chemistry problem between Paul George, Kawhi Leonard, and James Harden as even though these players are mostly used on ISO plays, they are not new playing with the same key scorer.
I also see the same as well. Maybe they will give either Kawhi, or PG for Harden, or they will be having a hard time finding the chemistry.

TBH, I don't think that the Clippers need another all-star again aside from Kawhi, PG, and now Russ. What they need now are role players that will fit with the team, and can help Russ if Kawhi and/or PG get injured. I don't know if it's just me, but I'm thinking that this will be the final season of Coach Ty Lue as the head coach of the Clippers. He had enough of this load management sh*t already by Kawhi. Well, that's what I'm feeling, and I hope I'm wrong.

Is there any drawback I'm missing?
Why don't people just buy Cryptos that they can stake?
Why go with Coinbase when they already have their own platform where you can stake your ATOM there.
I'm also staking some ATOM tokens in their own wallet called KEPLR. Currently, I'm on the node of Binance which gives 19.12% annually. I might un-stake it, and find another node since Binance node doesn't support airdrops from Cosmos. There is this feature of the project where those who are staking their ATOM tokens has the opportunity to get some free tokens thru airdrops.

Why they don't just buy cryptos that they can stake? I don't know the exact reason TBH, but maybe it's because they didn't do any research in any of these staking coins, and they with other projects. Most of the top 20 coins right now base on market cap offers staking, so TBH I don't know the main reason.

Quote
Re: Would You Advise People To Stake?
I would call myself a hypocrite if I will say no to it since I myself is also doing it.

The problems that I'm seeing with these staking coins is that, there is a chance that you might get an impermanent loss while staking it, and the amount of coins that you are getting for free isn't enough to cover your losses, and the other one is when the project turns out to be a scam project. I would advice to do it, but just be ready for the risks of staking.
1103  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: July 21, 2023, 07:44:48 AM
I just read that James Harden has removed all information about Philadelphia 76ers from his social media accounts.

Probably all ties are broken. James Harden will definitely go to another team.
Last I heard, Harden was thinking LA Clippers. Talks he wants to be reunited with Westbrook. I don't know if the trade will happen, but if it does maybe he will finally be happy with an old teammate and stay in 1 place for the rest of his NBA career.

Harden would be a better fit for the Clippers than John Wall was. I don’t think they could win a championship with him, but they’d get further than the first round of the playoffs. I think James Harden and Paul George could make for some great highlights as well. I consider them 2 of the most streetball like players currently playing in the NBA.
Harden might be a good fit for the Clippers, but who will the Clippers give to the Sixers? For sure Norman Powell will be the main guy in the trade package, and some other role players plus draft picks as well.

On the good side, it's good to see 4 all-star players playing in one team. That increase their chances in winning the title, and for sure Steve Balmer would always standing out there in the audience area, and happy cheering for his team. On the flip side, this trade has more bad than good effects on the whole Clippers.

Injuries will be their problem if the trade will push through. Yes injuries are very normal with these NBA players, but just imagine Kawhi out in the playoffs, PG out in the playoffs, and Harden will be out as well because of his hamstring injury (back when he was in the Nets. We don't know if anytime during the playoffs, he aggravate it again). Westbrook is the healthiest player out of the 4, but he alone can't carry the team. Who will help him when these 3 all-star get injured? No one because they traded Powell already which is the 2nd option during the playoffs when Kawhi and PG injured.

Overall, yes we don't know the future of the team if Harden will be on the Clippers, but I just shared my opinion base on their performances, and experiences in the past. I hope that I'm wrong with the injury part, and hoping still that they will not get injured, but if that happen, Kawhi, PG, and Harden will be traded next year since they have an expiring contract.
1104  Other / Meta / Re: The problems newbies face on: July 21, 2023, 06:43:05 AM
Normally newbies who just join this forum are been attacked by those that have been here for long and secondly the rules and guidance and where to post and not to post and gaining merit .

Who are attacking those newbies? I will give negative trust to them? Even though I'm not on DT list Tongue

Anyway, I think the problem with newbies is:
1. Most of them are in the forum for the money. Look at those newbies right now. A huge percentage of users who are newbie ranked are just spamming Proof of Authentication on the Bounty section.
2. Some of them are acting like they know it all. There are some newbies out there who are giving advice to different users here like they know every thing already. Yes it's still good to advice, but at least know your limits as a newbie.

I also started as a newbie here, and we all are. I registered a few months after the merit system was implemented, and at that time I'm not that expert like the other high ranked users here (and even today). The problem with newbies right now is that they aren't here because they want to rank up their account, but they're here because they believe that they can get some few bucks here. It created a bad image towards high ranked members thus, they see newbies like that.

TBH, I don't see newbies being attacked here. I mean I don't want to boast, but I believe that even though I will start again as a new account, I can still manage to rank up even at least at the Full Member, or even Senior Member. One thing also is that, learn to differentiate constructive criticism, and direct attack to you OP, and to the other newbies out there. To all of the newbies, at least try to rank up if you want to. Don't just post on Bounties section. I still believe that if you have knowledge that you can share here, you can still manage to rank up, and be out of that newbie status.

This looks more like bitcoin may decrease more? That is what it seems to me if bitcoin can go below $29200.

What do you about this?
Well, Bitcoin at the time I'm posting this is below $30,000 already base on Coingecko.
Though it touched below $30,000 a few times already over the past few weeks, I still believe that there are still buyers at the $30,000 price range thus, putting the price in between the 2 prices.

Bitcoin might decrease more? I guess it will as the weeks pass by. I mean there's no catalyst that will make the price of Bitcoin increase, and probably there will be some buyers at the bottom or near to it that might sell at that price as well. The recent bump was because of Blackrock, and as to when we will expect a decision coming from SEC will take a long time. The SEC can extend 3 times before they will come up with a decision, and they can just come up with a decision as late as next year - a few months before the halving.

As for me, I expect a gradual decrease of Bitcoin in the short term, but in the long term, I still expect for Bitcoin's price to go up like everyone else here. Smiley
1106  Economy / Reputation / Re: Are messages like this leading to scam? on: July 20, 2023, 08:56:26 AM
Sometimes, ignoring these kind of DM's is the best thing to do TBH.

I'll just share a story of mine which is the same as this one. I've received a DM from a random stranger back a few months ago, and he is offering an idea of his with regards to trading, and the reason why he DM'ed me out of nowhere is because I just shared my opinion with regards to trading. I didn't entertained him that much because he went to ask me some private information that makes me uncomfortable. A few weeks after that happen, I saw some negative trust from him because of spreading malware.

Anyway, blocking the user, just ignoring it, or simply report would be the best options for you OP. Smiley Sometimes, trusting your guts would help you as well, so if you feel that he will scam you, just ignore.

7. The shitcoin scammed. He/she bought lots of shitcoins on an obscure Pump and Dump group.
Out of all the ones you shared, this is the only one that I've experienced in my 5 years that being involved with crypto.

TBH, I consider myself lucky that I didn't fall into too much scam by these scammers because before I invested my money, I learned to identify which are scams, and which are not by watching many videos online, but mostly on Youtube. There are some videos out there that are giving tips, and signs that it's a scam. Of course I also some of the projects here that has been launched, and turned out to be a scam. Most of them happened in 2017 during the ICO hype where many projects are popping out of nowhere, and there is this one particular project back in 2017 where they put Roger Ver as one of the developers. Of course the token sale turned out to be a success, and has been listed on an not-so popular exchange, and after few months since it has been listed, the project just vanished including the money of the investors.

Am I forgetting any?

Has this happened to you or someone you know ?
Rug pulls. I think you missed it.

There are many projects back in the past where they ended up as a rug pull. I still remember that time back in 2017 as well where I risked some of my money, invested into a project that is on it's token sale, and I did spent hours researching regarding this project. To cut the story short, it ended up as a scam project, and I lost my money.
1108  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: July 20, 2023, 01:44:19 AM
With James harden trying to force his way out of Philly to the clippers, Ben Simmons shipped out & Markelle Fultz being a flop, it seemed like Philly was resting its hopes on Joel Embiid. Well, now Embiid is saying he doesn’t care what team he plays for, he just wants a championship. It looks like ‘Trust the Process’ may officially be a failure soon.

Embiid's desire to win his first title is understandable. However, I've heard other rumors about him and the 76ers. There's a rumor that Embiid wants to go the way of Dirk and Kobe. In other words, he wants to stay with the 76ers for his entire career and win a title in Philadelphia. If that's true, then the 76ers management should think about building a really strong team before Embiid runs out of patience.

These words were also said for Damian Lillard. We know what the situation is now.
If they can't win the championship he leaves the team, it's that simple, because such players left their teams.
It's a decision between LOYALTY and CHAMPIONSHIP.
It's a decision whether you will stay loyal to your team even though you aren't winning at title, or you go to another team in order to have a higher chance to win at a title.

Embiid has trust with the front office of Philly that's why he chooses to stay with the Sixers. On the other hand, it seems like Harden really wants to be out with the team, so I just hope that the players that Philly will get in exchange will be a good fit for Embiid. His statement regarding him staying with the Sixers will change in 3-4 years or even in 1-2 years depending on the situation of the team. I don't believe in loyalty though I've seen players who stayed with their team, and won a title like the late Kobe, Dirk, and Haslem to name a few, and this is what Embiid is believing in.

Lillard also said the same thing, but it seems like the team got worsen, and worsen to the point that he can't take it anymore thus, requested a trade to the Heat. Cheesy
1109  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can Bitcoin leave to be decentralized on: July 18, 2023, 08:49:32 AM
From my theory of understanding bitcoin as a cryptocurrency I have view bitcoin in different ways and i understand that Bitcoin what kept Bitcoin valuable is because it's a decentralized currency, for instant assuming bitcoin was centralized the domain of the technology would have be affected or tempered. But I'm seeing that the Force of Bitcoin today to stand is because is a decentralized currency.

Learning is a continuous process

Force of Bitcoin? I don't know if I'm ignorant enough to not know this phrase, but it's my first time to see this phrase so pardon me if I'm a bit laughing by the time I'm posting this. Cheesy

Anyway, Bitcoin will always decentralized, and that will not change. The creator has already given it to us users, and it's our turn to at least retain it at the top. I don't see Bitcoin going centralized because after all, it doesn't need one person or one authority or one group of people in order for something to be changed. If there will be changes in the Bitcoin's code, or if there will be added features, many people will need to agree with it, and that includes Miners, Developers, and many more.

There's already a huge community behind Bitcoin already, and many more will be in the future thus, it will remain decentralized. With regards to learning, even the most famous businessmen right now are still on a learning process because learning is unstoppable. Whether you're a business owner, or an investor or anything, you still need to learn because you don't know anything.
1110  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: SIGNS THAT A CRYPTO PROJECT IS A SCAM on: July 18, 2023, 06:42:53 AM
1. Lack of transparency: A legitimate crypto project should have clear information about its team, its technology, and its roadmap. If a project fails to provide this information, or only offers vague promises, it could be a sign that they are hiding something.

2. Unrealistic promises: If a project promises too-good-to-be-true returns on investment, it is likely a scam. While some crypto projects are innovative and have the potential for significant growth, investors should be wary of promises that seem too exaggerated.

3. Lack of community engagement: A legitimate crypto project will have an active and engaged community. If a project lacks social media activity or community interaction, it could be a red flag.

4. No clear use case: A legitimate crypto project should have a clear use case for its token. If a project cannot articulate a clear purpose for its token, or its use case seems vague or broad, it may be a scam.
Before investing in any crypto project, investors should do their research and look for these red flags. By being vigilant, investors can protect themselves from scams and make informed investment decisions.

 https://www.binance.com/en/feed/post/804194
All of these are very subjective, and can't be applied to all projects.

1. Well, this is only a factor that can be applied to any project. Not transparent = red flag already. Not transparent to their investor meaning they are into something that we as investor don't want to see. I've seen many projects in the past especially when ICO is at it's hype back in 2017 where developers are just sharing some vague information regarding the question of the investor. Anyway, lack of transparency in any project (except for Bitcoin) is already a red flag.

2. How about Bitconnect back in 2017? Or the recent Terra Luna incident where they are offering 20% annual interest on the investor's deposits? They are for me unrealistic promises, and yet there are many investors who fell from it. Yes I agree that unrealistic promises is a red flag for a project especially when it's a new one, but the problem is some of the investors are falling easily to these "unrealistic promises" because they think that it's true. They're too naïve to think that these aren't true.

3. Terra Luna, Centra, FTX. These are just 3 of the project that has a huge community back when it's still on it's top. Terra Luna was I think at the top before the incident happen. My point is having a large community doesn't mean that it will not scam people. There is a huge community behind these 3 projects, and yet they still manage to scam their investors.

4. Meme coins? SHIB? PEPE? Other top 100 coins out there. There are some coins at the top 100 that clearly don't have any use case at all, and yet there are still many investors investing into them. I believe that having a use case would be a good factor, but there are projects out there that don't have any use case. Well, maybe they aren't scamming as of this moment, but maybe in a few months or years.
1111  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: July 18, 2023, 03:31:04 AM
Looks like the Phoenix Suns have addressed they’re not having a backup center by signing Bol Bol to a one year deal. This means they probably won’t be going after JaVale McGee in the free agent market. It also means that DeAndre Ayton had better not get too comfortable on this roster. I am excited that the Suns got Bol Bol though. He’s like a more developed version of Wemby.

Then if they aren't getting JaVale McGee on the Free agent market a likely Golden State Warriors transaction for McGee could happen and for me, as a Warriors fan this is a good thing JaVale McGee has already played in the Warriors Roster in the past so he is familiar with the play and strategy of the team and the GSW is badly needing big guys and McGee can provide an inside offense and defense to the team that has shown in the recent games,
In the recent draft, they got 2 players. One is 6 foot 5 inches, and the other one is 6 foot 9 inches.
TBH, with how the Warriors are good with developing their young players, I think they will focus more on developing Trayce Jackson-Davis, the one that they got in the recent draft. He has the same height as Looney, and although he isn't as efficient as he is on offense base on scouting reports, he is very efficient at the rim, and I guess with how loaded the Warriors are in terms of offense, he can just focus on defense

Though I want McGee to reunite with his former team, I think that the Warriors are on the road to develop younger players that will soon carry the team if the time has come for Steph, Klay, and Draymond to play lesser minutes or retire, and they're one of the best teams right now in terms of developing younger players. They developed Poole a few years ago, and even though he played poorly last playoffs, we know that he is capable of scoring at least 15-20 PPG. Overall, I think Looney, and this rookie Jackson-Davis is enough for the Warriors already. Wait they also have Saric who is a big as well, so the Warriors now are loaded with taller players now.

Free agent center Omer Yurtseven has signed a $5.4 million contract with the Utah Jazz.
Omer Yurtseven previously played for the Miami Heat. He didn't get many chances to play for the Miami Heat. I hope he plays more for the Utah Jazz and proves himself.
It's because of injuries that's why he didn't play that much when he's on the Heat.
Not a familiar name for me, but I just hope that his injuries will not be a hinder on his NBA career.
1112  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How can I understand meme coin good or bad position? on: July 18, 2023, 02:25:33 AM
How can I understand a meme coin's position in the current market? Is there any way to tell if it will be good or bad? I have seen MEXC exchange add many meme tokens daily. How to identify a good token from here?
Nowadays, threads regarding meme coins has been created out of nowhere by these newbies, and some member ranked users as well. I wonder why?
Maybe they are trying hard to hype it again? Or they're just curious on meme coins in general.

Whatever the reason is, I would suggest to stay away with meme coins in general because investing in meme coins is like throwing your money, and losing it forever. Of course it will be a different scenario if you invested into meme coins like DOGE, and SHIB, but most of the meme coins out there are either a dead coin, a scam coin, or will be an abandoned project in a few months for me. Is there any way to tell if it's good or bad? In general, all meme coins are bad, and the risk is very high compare to the rewards that you can get.

How to identify? Just stay away from meme coins FFS. There are better projects out there, and meme coins aren't the only coins out there. Those top market capped coins are better investment than meme coins. Bitcoin is a better investment than meme coins. Ethereum is a better investment than meme coins. I mean why you focus your money in meme coins where you can invest in better projects. Lesser risk, well not that high reward compare to what meme coins can give. Cheesy

I decided not to include links to some funny post of some newbies because some of them will take it as an insult instead of a motivation and I am open for any correction if I have gone too far trying to encourage them.
Well, it's funny, but it's true. I've seen newbies acting like they are experts here where they are just advising people out of nowhere.
On the other hand, I think this topic is pretty subjective (at least for me).

What if that newbie-ranked user has been lurking in this forum for years already before registering? We can still read things including rules here even though we aren't registering an account right?
What if that newbie-ranked user has been involved with cryptocurrency for let's say 5 years already? For 5 years, for sure he might know the basics of investing, and maybe the complex things about crypto.

Some might agree that newbies shouldn't teaching higher ranked users here, and that's true, but I still believe that ranks here aren't a basis whether you should share or advice people or not. Like I said, there might be some newbie ranked users out there who knows everything about crypto. Though in general, newbies really don't know anything about crypto, but they're the ones who act like they know everything which is kind of funny, and disappointing at the same time.
1114  Economy / Speculation / Re: Should I buy now or I should still wait for the dip? on: July 17, 2023, 12:25:07 PM
I wanted to start my bitcoin investment journey but I look at it that the price is still high to start the investment and I am waiting for the price to go down to $20k to $25k or below. Is that a procrastination? If yes, when is the best time to start the journey? Now that the price is still high? Will bitcoin go down again?
You know what might be the possible way for Bitcoin to reach the price that you just said. If SEC will reject Blackrock their filing of a Bitcoin spot ETF.
What are the chance of Blackrock being rejected? Out of 570+ times that they requested, they failed only 1 in the whole history of the company. On the other hand, even though Blackrock has only 1 rejection, the chances of them getting a success with the Spot Bitcoin ETF is 50/50 still.

Is that procrastination? I don't think so, but I would rather call it waiting for the perfect time to buy. The question is "Will it go down to that price?" Will it go down again? It will all depend on the decision of the SEC with regards to Blackrock's petition to file for a Spot Bitcoin ETF. I believe their decision will have a huge impact towards the price of Bitcoin not only for the short term, but in long term as well.

As it is said, bitcoin price rised to $20+k from late last year after the bear market and in  this year the price rises to $31k, so what is your speculation on the price before the end of the year?
My price speculation before the end of the year. I'm a bit bullish with Bitcoin after what happened in the first half of the year, so my prediction is at around $45,000-$50,000, but I will not be surprised though if it goes higher than that price.
1115  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: This time for meme coin? on: July 17, 2023, 09:12:53 AM
You probably know that almost all new meme projects are coming out now. Do you think it is really risky? what effect do you think this could have for the bull market!
It isn't really risky at all.
It is very, very, very risky.

Meme coins come, and go. Though I believe that there will be a time in the future where Meme coins will be on hype again, most of them will not last for years because most if not all of them are just being created for the sake of scamming people. If you are thinking of investing into these meme coins, there is one word that I will say to you. "DON'T". If you are risking your money investing into something, at least not into meme coins FFS. I tried investing on a random meme coin, and lost all of it. F*ck MEME COINS!!!!!

I believe that there will be a next meme coin hype in the future, but I think that it will not be the same as what it was at first. For sure, only few investors will try to invest into these meme coins again once they got hyped because they've learned from the past 2 meme coin hypes. Those who invested, and lost money investing into it will not touch them anymore, and those who learned from the experience from somebody will also not invest into them. As for me, I will not touch them at all.
1116  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin: Bull/Bear Market Which Do you Prefer? on: July 17, 2023, 07:10:45 AM
Among the two which of them do you prefer, is it the bull market or the Bear Market? And why?
Both.
I mean there are opportunities in both the bear and the bull market. During the bear market, you have the opportunity to buy different cryptocurrencies at a discounted price. On the other hand, during the bull run, you also have the opportunity to sell your coins at a huge profit. I mean why choose between the 2 of them. It all comes to opportunities because that's what investing is. You grab opportunities in order for the investor to have huge profits.

Some are investing for the bull market  and once the bull market comes they offload the wallet.
Investing, and waiting for the bull market to happen is the most popular strategy that medium to long term holders are doing. They invest during the bear market, hold that coin for years, then offload it, and sell during the bull run. One of the easiest strategy to do, but definitely not the easiest one to implement because there are investors who are greedy enough to the point where if their target price was reached, they will feel that it might go even higher thus, waiting for price to go even higher, but there are times where the opposite happens causing them to feel disappointed.

some are perpetual in the holding both in the bull and the bear. So where do you belong? Is the bull market is more important than the bear market? And if I may ask, which one is the best?
Both are important to me.
Like I said, it all comes to opportunities, and there's always an opportunity in both of them.

Phoenix Suns have signed a 1-year contract with Bol Bol.

Phoenix Suns are considering Bradley Beal as their point guard next season.

Phoenix Suns have sent Cameron Payne to the San Antonio Spurs.
San Antonio Spurs: Cameron Payne, Future second-round pick and cash money.
Phoenix Suns: Future second-round pick
I wonder why the Magic traded him. I mean Bol played his best year in their team, and he got more popular because of how the fans love him.
Anyway, I just hope that the Suns will give him minutes to play, and at least showcase his talent because TBH, him and Wembanyama are kind of like the same. Same that are thin, can shoot threes, can handle the ball, a good passer as well. It's just unfortunate that the hype at that time was on Wemby well in fact, Bol Bol can also do what he can do.

With Payne out on the Suns, they wanted Beal to be their PG next season. I don't disagree with this, but I think Booker would be a better PG than him if they don't have a choice. There are some games in the playoffs where Booker made plays, and he's a good passer as well. That just shows that he can be a PG as well though not as good as CP3, but the good thing is he can pass the ball, but he can erupt, and score 30 if given the opportunity.

Overall, it looks like the Suns are going all in with their roster right now getting 4 superstars, and a talented role players. Definite a team to watch out in the West this upcoming season.

It's a good deal for one to check his/her wallet at least once in a day. This will help you to control the funds in your wallet. Old token may do good within minute, one can take such advantage to make good cash out of such forgotten token.
Well, if you know that the wallet that you own has multiple tokens or coins then I guess checking once or twice a day is a good thing.
However, if you have a wallet that you didn't use in any airdrops, or anything aside from that wallet being used as a storage for some top coins like Ethereum then why bother checking it for once or twice.

I have a wallet on Daedalus (Cardano), and Keplr (ATOM), and TBH, I only visit them once a week. Why? Because I don't expect any airdrop coins coming from them except for ATOM who gives free coins for those ATOM holders who are staking their coin. On the other hand, looking at your wallet on a daily basis might cause you to get disappointed because of the losses that you might see. You might feel disappointed in yourself because you might see your tokens on that wallet being down double digit percentages in a single day.

Overall, there's nothing wrong with checking on your wallet on a daily basis as long as you aren't affected of the potential impermanent losses that you may see. Checking it hoping that you might get some tokens that has value? Probably it's worth it if you used that wallet in joining airdrops, or different bounty campaigns here.

How many bitcoins does a person need to retire, what is the cashout plan and why?
It depends on where you are living.

If you are living in a third world country, or a developing country, you might need a lesser amount of Bitcoin to retire. On the other hand, if you are living on a developed country like in the US where prices are much higher than that of a developing country, you might need even more Bitcoins, way more Bitcoins.

Your cost of living is also a factor. How much is your monthly expenses? Multiply it by 12, and then multiply it by 25 years. The total amount that you will get is the total amount of Bitcoin that you need (of course converted from your fiat currency to Bitcoins). Overall, I don't see myself holding that much Bitcoin when I retire. I guess at that time, I already put my money into safer type of assets like those blue chip stocks out there, and maybe some bonds.

Etn is the coin from 2016 right ? If i am not mistaken it is mined by phone ( their marketing campaign ). I though this coin death already and if i am not wrong we can not put smart contract on it. So the new update is only smart contract thing ? We have many coin can do that. Polygon, avalanche and many coin to come.
Yes it's that coin. The coin who launched their ICO here, and got famous because of the way people can get that coins.

I knew it because I also tried it. I also tried to mine coins without any proper gadgets whatsoever. It's like how PI Network is today, but the token has value already at that time then slowly they came out of the limelight. Developers didn't make any developments in the project, and if they did, there aren't that much support from the community anymore. The project is still running with few updates on their social media accounts, but for me, I consider it a dead project already.

I have been following there Facebook page (etn electroneum) and deceided to get in at the price. New blockchain coming which will make it etn20 and the ability to create new tokens far cheaper than erc20...also they have the anytask platform with a big supporting team....read the social media could change the world if this thing gets out there? Worth a punt! Not saying you should as this crypto lark is extremely risky but out of everything I have looked at it serves an actual real world purpose and helping the poor is always a good thing...
You're a newbie. Follow what will I say.
If you aren't a marketer for these dead project, just invest into Bitcoin. Bitcoin, and only Bitcoin, and not some dead projects like Electroneum.

Ohhh wait I guess you're one of the marketers of them base on what you are saying to us. I guess just good luck because I think that you are doing this because it's either you are being paid by them (which is highly unlikely), or you bought many ETN tokens in the past that you are now at a loss, and trying to manipulate newbies here to buy this worthless token. Tongue You can't do that because people here are intelligent enough to know what's a good project, and what's not.
