1101  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIBA Basketball World Cup 2023 - Betting and Discussions on: August 15, 2023, 11:36:29 AM
This event is significant for the Philippines. With a team that lacks NBA-caliber players, they will need the support of the crowd. I'm pretty sure we will witness a sold-out crowd.
The crowd cheer is going to give some boost but this isn't enough for sure. We probably have an idea of what's going to happen but we have that belief and saying that the ball is round. So, let things happen and we shall see if our national team will be able to make it or not. But the spirit of everyone going with the crowd is that we'll make it, just do it with heart (puso).

Between the Dominican Republic and Italy, I think Italy would win.
Upsets can happen and Italy's roster is interesting though.

Working over 20 years still poor

Not working hard enough Tongue

Cool
Well, I am pretty sure that I've seen people work hard and very well but it seems that their hard work isn't still enough. So, you're right that they didn't work hard enough. However, in this generation, working smart is another thing that everyone has to consider to become rich. Whilst those that have worked for the rest of their lives and they've got exact provisions for themselves, the definition of being poor on them is subjective on what they think about it. So it has to be both working hardly and smartly or wisely.

work that is occupied for a lifetime will not make you rich, it will only make ends meet.
wealth is a skill in life about how to manage finances. then to achieve wealth we must learn how to manage money.
That's true, the riches are skilled in making money but not all of them managed to do it equally and rightfully.

As per report ng Spin.Ph, Kai Sotto finally cleared for full-contact basketball, so meaning masasama na siya sa final roster ng Gilas Pilipinas.

Quote
Samahang Basketbol ng Pilipinas (SBP) president Al S. Panlilio confirmed the 7-foot-3 Sotto has been given the go-signal to finally play full contact.

"I spoke with our doctors (Monday) and he's been cleared to play. And that's good news," said Panlilio in the special session of the Philippine Sportswriters Association (PSA).

1105  Other / Off-topic / Re: Working over 20 years still poor on: August 14, 2023, 06:49:08 PM
The reason may be due to a lack of managing finances, or a lot of expenses so that finances are running low.
That's one, I've read a lot of story on how they've worked hard for so many years and yet, they're exhausted, tired and almost got no savings at all. The problem really differs per person and that's why some don't have a lot of obligation and they're likely free with finances and the rest have got a lot of problems on how they're going to budget their salaries because it isn't enough thanks to inflation and lifestyle inflation.

You only need to increase your source of income, be good at managing money, and don't be wasteful. It all depends on whether or not someone is disciplined in managing their money.
When you're making money and you're doing it the tough way, you'll give the importance and urge that it should be spent wisely because you want it to multiply and don't want it to be gone too soon. While being educated financially, this is also another reason why many don't make it.
1106  Other / Off-topic / Re: Keeping your gambling habit a secret. on: August 14, 2023, 05:47:32 PM
There will be no peace in any family if the main earner is addicted to gambling.
And that is because the breadwinner will just allocate the money that he's got into gambling and sometimes, he'll hide secrets of getting a portion of his money so that he can still gamble despite that there are other needs that have to be funded.

If a wife observe her husband's gambling ratio is so high and he loss more in gambling she may feel unhappy like her husband and usually the wife does not want her husband to focus more on gambling. I have never seen a wife who encouraged her husband to gamble. No matter what a gambler does throughout the day, no one will accept it if the results of his day's activities come home and affect the family. A gambler should devote enough time to the family as well as fully support the family financially.
I've got friends that have been like that, they're family oriented but behind that they're hiding a problem that they're struggling financially because of one's addiction. I don't know how they're doing right now but I think that they're able to solve that problem eventually. And that's because the wife will leave the husband if he didn't change for the better. There are times that these secrets aren't really good especially if it's affecting the family.
1107  Economy / Economics / Re: Real estate vs cryptocurrencies vs business on: August 14, 2023, 04:31:27 PM
This is the first time someone brought up about businesses regarding cryptocurrency which is a good thing. The other answers were also revolving around investments, but it seems like we centralized on it too much that we forgot that there are other businesses that can be pulled from cryptocurrency. This is a good point as it shows that there are other actions or ways that can be done around this area that will bring more profit despite the risks it provides.
I also want to have my own business that's related to crypto. I'm not new in business and also got a little venture in real estate. Based on my experience, as you've said that we're all centralized and there's common in terms of choices and we like the traditional ones. But the competition in most of those is getting tougher, whilst, in a business that's oriented with crypto, there's not that much on it. I think the best idea is still yet to be discovered. And there are areas where I think this is going to get the attention, while it may not boom quickly but somehow it's going to get the crowd if it clicks. The common is to have a business and accept crypto payments but there are also other concepts where I'm thinking of getting into a business where it's mostly focused on crypto and as in everything is in crypto. Like a coffee shop where crypto folks meet each other and have a good conversation while sipping a crypto-themed coffee name.
1108  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: do anyone have done this? with gambling platforms on: August 14, 2023, 02:43:54 PM
I do not think that too many have won with that kind of setup. Majority of the people here have been gambling for a long time but if it's about winning, you'll see how many are happy to share those moments, of course. And it has become a norm when someone wins big, the casino will ask you kyc for that. They also need to comply to their government so whether you like it or not, you have to.

Personally, I won around x50 - x100 plenty of times through small sports accumulator bets and was never asked to submit KYC so far though the amounts weren't huge or anything.
That's nice to hear that you haven't asked to submit kyc when that's a lot of money that you've won against that casino you've played with.

Almost every crypto gambling site will request KYC if the amount is huge these days though only a couple of them give bullshit excuses even after providing KYC.
That's right, it is to be expected when you're gambling and you suddenly won huge amounts these days. Even if there's a promise that there will be no kyc from the beginning, you don't believe that.

Smaller withdrawals could bypass KYC, but it would take a lot longer to fully access your winnings.
They'll notice it if you'll withdraw in many small parts and will still end up being kyced.
1109  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can i make 100 $ daily from online casinos on: August 14, 2023, 11:23:22 AM
Winning a $100 daily from casinos may not be that much and it's kind of quite low to be honest but that's not the whole picture as there will be some instances that you might cross over a $100 in your hands
For daily, it's not low for me but that's already much. And if a time goes that I'll be able to make more than $100 then I'm probably the luckiest person by that time.

but as expected, you will not call it a day because for the most gamblers, that will not be enough as humans will always want more. And in the end of the day, they will find themselves in a situation where they don't even have a clean $20 profit or worse might've gone overboard than the supposed budget.
That's true because having a clean profit even if it's low rather than losing more or not winning at all. Those gamblers that manage to get a clean profit are the ones that are doing the right thing. When the profit is already seen, they won't waste anytime for them to let that profit stuck. But instead, they're making sure that they'll be able to withdraw that as soon as possible.
1110  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Reckless gambling starts after a win round. on: August 14, 2023, 08:41:37 AM
If you are onto gambling for the first time it's not possible to get addicted to gambling because you haven't tasted what winning feels like, you will be consumed by doubts and uncertainty.
That's true and that's where you're just getting started and you're going to get more of it once you try again for the 2nd and more around.

But wait till you have a taste, win some money, that's where you start feeling like there is more if you keep digging, is this not where gambling addiction starts?
The excitement just starts there and then when the taste of winning is in there, that's how it is going to go. You'll keep to do more of it and likely think that winning is easy and you can do it at most times, that's when you'll try more rounds until you've got nothing left anymore.

Do you think its possible to become addicted to gambling when you haven't win a dime or after you win?
Yup, that's even more dangerous because you're craving to win and that's why you'll keep going until you finally get some wins.

I think addiction starts after you win, even if it's just once, that's when you start gambling recklessly and you also start betting higher.
Not really but everything that contributes to the excitement and crave that you're having, winning is one of it.
1111  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can i make 100 $ daily from online casinos on: August 14, 2023, 07:03:07 AM
Not as a guarantee that you can win in every session that you participate, gambling always have that big risk even you think
you already have that good strategy to win more.
And that's not going to guarantee someone able to make $100 per day. It's better to find a job that will make you earn that much or at least close to that rather than letting the fate work on you because you might even go home with nothing, as in with zero.

In a case that you keep placing your bets in hope that your strategy will continue to work and provide money making opportunities.

But in reality, a single mistake will push you to aggressively try to win more or recover and lose your money again and again.
That's the usual thing that happens for most gamblers. We think that doing one more is fine until everything gets bad and we're losing more and more because our emotion is being hit by those losses. And by the time that we want to recover more of those losses, you know what's ahead on it and you'll regret that you have decided to chase those losses because usually it doesn't result with what we want to play out.
1112  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin obsession! on: August 14, 2023, 06:14:54 AM
I do think that the majority of us are obsessed with Bitcoin. Who's not obsessed with investments and money? It can be a hobby that one can describe per se. But whatever you think about obsession, this is the kind of obsession that everybody is going to agree with. Because we keep on looking at the charts, at the market and the price of bitcoin from time to time. I don't know who's not doing that but maybe someone who's been far from the market and don't think of it anymore.

But if someone is obsessed with Bitcoin because they just want to get quick profits. Then it is not good.
There is also this classification which is for sure not going to end up with a good result because someone who's thinking of quick profits, that's not really going to give you the benefit that you'll enjoy in the long run. But if you're a trader and you're for the quick profits, then that's manageable.
1113  Other / Off-topic / Re: The health benefits of Alcohol, Beers, Whisky and Red wines. on: August 14, 2023, 01:15:00 AM
It all plays but having too much of everything can harm our health. Yes, there are health benefits of alcohol and wines but if you're drinking too much you know what it will build up.

Moderation is the way to live our lives, not only alcohol that can cause damage to the body but eating unhealthy can also endanger us. However, the kidney is easily affected with alcohol because of the function it does in the body, like removing of excess fluid and alcohol itself is generating unwanted substance that overburden the kidney.
Yeah right. Everything that's too much is gonna cause us our health and you're right that it's not just the drinks, the alcohol, and the beverages but also what we intake in our body. I do understand we do love food, good food, and eating and that's a basic necessity for most of us. But when the trouble comes and we go ahead to the doctor when we feel something bad inside us, the culprit is the food that we take or the drink that we drink.

It is better to eat and drink in moderation.
Also, drink enough water and not fluids that are colored.

Hi everybody, hope you doing well. it's a while that i have known crypto trading assistant platforms like 3commas, cryptohopper,... please share with me your trading experience with them and let me know if you have any other crypto trading assistant
thanks
I am sure you're aware that most people here don't have any experience with those bots you've mentioned. And it is likely that you're just here to give them some free advertisement and you're able to get engagement with it. But, that won't give my curiosity a bite for what you've said. Even if there are other bots that are existing, those that will just be the same experience as what you're trying to find and prolong this talk.
Anyway, if you want to make a good discussion about such then you should have explained a bit with what you've mentioned and give us an idea on how it is whether you're connected to them or not or basically just a happy user that made you remember it.
1115  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How do you find new meme coins early? on: August 13, 2023, 11:39:59 PM
No doubt that Twitter is the best channel to find these new meme coins. Those verified accounts that you have no idea who they are are shilling those new meme coins that they think will pump soon. But the background story of that is that it's likely that they're paid to shill those meme coins.
So, if ever you think that it's because of their analysis that makes a meme coin convincing to you. Don't forget that possibility because that's really what the actuality is.
And from there, it's no longer a new thing for the meme coin hunters like you and you're very much aware with that.
1116  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022–23 PBA Commissioner's Cup on: August 13, 2023, 11:08:00 PM
The MPBL is gradually posing a threat to the PBA, prompting plans for a major league adjustment. When the MPBL was designated as a professional league, it served as a significant warning sign. If the PBA doesn't revise its system soon, the MPBL might eventually surpass it, becoming the most popular basketball league in the Philippines.

Link: https://cebudailynews.inquirer.net/416251/mpbl-is-now-a-pro-league

It appears that the PBA needs to heed the voice of the fans and address internal politics, which seems to be at the core of the issues.
I just hope that the dominance of PBA will soon be gone and newer and better leagues will also adhere and replace it. The politics on PBA is at its finest and even the national team is affected with that. I think it should be from the roots coming from SBP and PSC so that those dominance of teams, doing farm on other teams will also be stopped. There are better formats which is shown by the MPBL that represents places to places and this gives the NBA vibes. Unlike in PBA, it's more really in the business franchise and if it is not for having the record of the oldest basketball league in Asia, it wouldn't be there anymore. Look at the other foreign leagues, they're upgrading and not sticking to the old method and policies to their leagues. So without a doubt that MPBL is a huge threat to them and people are already hearing the league's name and its popularity is widely increasing.
1117  Economy / Economics / Re: All millions are from real estate. on: August 13, 2023, 10:43:02 PM
There is no doubt that the money really is also in the real estate market. As much as I want to have many of it, the reality is that you need huge money on it to start unless you find a good financing where you'll not going to be hit by a huge interest rate thus, that requires a huge money to start. It is true that billionaires and most rich people are into real estate, we can copy their strategies and think like them but without doing actions, we're mostly just wasting our time on it. Land assets are appreciating yearly and that's why if you don't get one today, next year the price of it will increase but it varies from locations. Regardless of that, the sellers are also crazy these days when they're like putting higher prices than the market price.
1118  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Playing Slot Games On Demo/Free mode Vs Live/Paid Mode on: August 13, 2023, 10:17:54 PM
That is always the case with free or demo versions, the system will allow you to win and that is going to show you high numbers so that you will regret and have that what ifs. And then when you're able to gamble and play and after you deposit, you'll regret again why?
It is because that you're incurring losses and you'll make another what if comparison that what if you just didn't played at all and that money of yours wasn't deposited so, it's better and safe than when you have gambled that on slots.
1119  Economy / Economics / Re: Entrepreneurship and women on: August 13, 2023, 04:05:11 PM
In the current era, even a career woman's growth can be said to increase more quickly than the career growth of a young man. Not all regions are the same, but in the country where I work, I see that career women are increasingly controlling various industries.
There are specific industries and niches where that's true but this isn't applicable to all of them. But understanding this, this is true that there are industries and specific ones where the growth of the career women are quicker than of men.

Even in my current country, if we go to any industrial factory, we are not surprised to see that the majority of factory employees today are women. Men are more likely to be placed in the heaviest sectors. and yeah that's fair. it's just that the comparison between female employees and male employees in the country where I work is currently getting bigger. And of course the number of female employees is the most.
That only means that these companies are preferring more women because probably of their prowess and the way they handle their products and manufacture. The same goes with those companies that do need more women because that's how they get more sales.

Even if a factory here opens job vacancies for 1,000 people, almost 700 people or even more are accepted by women. So that many men are currently unemployed as a result of all this.
I think that depends on the product of the factory. If the products that they are manufacturing needed to be handled by soft hands then they really need women on it.
1120  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Anonymity is no longer a benefit of gambling with cryptocurrency. on: August 12, 2023, 06:19:29 AM
This isn't true. All the casinos have a license. Some just use the license to steal money from us.
While what you've said is true but there are actual casinos that don't have the license to operate and yet they still operate. They're only going to work on it when some folks noticed that and demands them to have.

No one of the forums has ever been caught money laundering so people should stop using the AML excuse.
Well, there have been in the past that some gamblers do complained that they've been locked with their balances. Not knowingly, when the casino that they're complaining about responded, some tend to actually do it. But these days, I doubt it that most casinos will give full disclosure of reasons like that.
