whether they will refund money they stole?
you think? seriously? They don't even care what's happening here.

Gems looks something that can bring crypto to masses, with simplistic solution. People use free chat applications everyday anyway. If they get paid for it, and also send/receive money to other users on their phonebook with a touch of finger, that's amazing.

No content, no TA, no thinking or clue, not even a funny picture. Sad. I'm warned but I'm sad.

Thanks for all replies, it is clear by now that the trust is visible where it is relevant.
Locking this now.

Hi everyone , i have 0.334 BTC and williing to sell for bank transfer only. I am not going first as there are scammers all around. I am from india , jharkhand , phone no. --- [ message me and i will give you my phone no. ] .
I need cash urgently so you have chances to buy at lower price.
What's your asking price? I can buy at Rs.12,000 per BTC. So, for 0.334 BTC I can pay you Rs.4000 If you agree, we need to use an escrow of my choice.

Any takers ?? You can get better prices on eBay. A few weeks ago I sold my AMD Sapphire HD7950 (3GB) USED card for Rs.13,900 Though it was under warranty, but it was used for mining for at least 6 months. If I can get Rs.13,900 for that one, you can get much better prices for your new cards. Just mention on eBay that there is no warranty, still you'll find good offers. If you're not sure about final price, you can setup auction starting with base price.

Thanks! Just redeemed the coupon to get free Bitcoins worth Rs.99 Good to know the deal was still active after several days, though

Anyone following Monero here?
I used to own a few of them, lost interest a while ago. Sold all. To me it is nothing but a bot-mined clone of Bytecoin. It was hyped in name of fair distribution, but nothing great to offer. Bytecoin was the first and original cryptonote coin and I appreciate that.

I have been using Unocoin for some time and would like to try our Coinsecure as well.
Just curious, there is a vast difference between your buy price and Unocoin. Is there any operational differences between the two exchanges that affects the price in a different way?

Certain forum sections show trust ratings. The sections that involve BTC/Altcoin transactions or Bitcoin/Altcoin deals, trades, ect show the trust rating while others do not. For example, the services section would show the trust rating, but the Bitcoin discussion would not.
OK, got it. So it is visible where it is relevant. That's good to know, thanks!

OP had courage, heart and moxy then got his face ripped off. What a brave soul and a shining example of what not to do.
Let's not assume Bitcoin is doomed and OP has failed. Otherwise you and me wouldn't be posting on the forum wasting our valuable time. OP believed in a long-run investment and Bitcoin has fallen/rose/fallen/rose so many times in past that current value is no indication of its possible future. See this: bitcoinobituaries.com Lets mark this thread and come back 2-3 years later, then we'll talk.

I am reading two different threads on the forum at the same time. A single user has posted replies to both the threads. However I can see his negative trust on one thread under his username but do not see the same on the other thread. This is how I see him on one thread: This is how I see him on another thread: What gives? Is trust rating visible/not visible based on the board you're browsing?

I found all the transactions can be found publicly on blockchain, is that safe? It shows from Address1 to Address2, and how many bitcoins, so everyone can find all the route, correct? is it anonymous?
That's how Bitcoin works and that's the main strength of Bitcoin. The whole transaction history is public - we call it block chain. Anyone in the world can have a complete copy of the block chain on computer. When new transactions happen, they're matched with all old transactions to make sure no Bitcoins are being spent more than once. If you're worried about privacy, there's not much to worry about. As far as you cover your tracks, it is not possible to link a Bitcoin address to a person. So even if the block chain shows a transaction from Address1 --> Address2, it is not known who sent the money to whom. There's plenty to worry about. If you receive bitcoins you must share your address with whoever is sending you the bitcoins. At least they will know it's yours. If you're sending bitcoins then whoever you sent it to can see your address and know it's yours as well. If you trust either of these parties then no worries. but if you don't... Too bad. Mixers can help obfuscate it if used right. That of course requires you to trust the mixer. If I were part of a three letter agency tasked with tracing bitcoin transactions I would set up the bestest tm coin mixer in the world. I would guarantee you that no unauthorized entity will ever know what you did with your bitcoins. Thank you. That's why I said "as far as you cover your tracks", but you probably missed it. And there are plenty of ways to cover your tracks; including mixers as you said. Also for general public, using an exchange wallet to send/receive is also a way to cover tracks from unidentified parties. Not to mention the Dark Wallet. But one person doesn't need to go out of the way to hide all possible tracks unless he's running a silk road of course.

OP is a liar. Nobody sticks around for 4 years and then just gets out one random day. The protocol hasn't change so I doubt you are going anywhere.
It was a sarcastic post. If you follow the links he posted, you'll know how.

Thanks, it was a good read. Nice to see the focus on marketplace. Also, when we talk about dropping support for arbitrush, does it mean NEOS will no longer be anonymous? Or will it be replaced by something else?

So it's an application that accepts your Bitcoin deposits, but you can't withdraw Bitcoins from it.
HOW MANY OF THESE CAN I DOWNLOAD?
As Netnox mentioned in his post above, the next version of the app allows you to withdraw your coins to any address, so you can just wait for the next release if you don't trust it now.
