The pump was good while it lasted, but don't buy this shit now. Pumpers doubled their BTC. Just pass along, nothing to see here.

I understand that people have varying agreement on the negative aspects of signatures, but can someone tell me any positives?
Self-expression is not really necessary to be seen every time you post. If you have something interesting then it can be posted in your profile.
A quick pros vs cons makes me wonder why signatures still exist here.
Not sure what exactly your problem is with signatures per se. Wana elaborate? #1 more room than in your profile #2 better visibility than in your profile #3 area where ref links are allowed #4 allows formatting and/or colors depending on your rank My problem is that it's just advertising space. The downsides of moving it to the profile would be heavily outweighed by the benefits of increased forum post quality. I share somewhat similar feeling. But you can easily opt for hiding signatures from your settings:

I am willing to request for a vouch copy if you're still offering one. Thanks!

ive been logged into bitstamp since 1 hour in uk no problems with trading
No problem with any other sites - but still can't get into Stamp - have fiat there and want to get in...! Bitstamp said if you change your DNS server to Google ( 8.8.8.8 ), it will work as a temporary solution. Have you tried that?

The complete blockchain data is around 10 GB, so calculate the time based on your internet speed. (In order to avoid such big data download, you could have used a 'light' wallet such as Multibit or Electrum. Google them if you wish to use them for future transactions.)
If you wish to check right away, post your receiving address (from 1st transaction) here and we can check it on blockchain.info to see if your BTC balance is safe.
I guess you have made a typo when showing the size... stats straight from my server: 4.0K banlist.dat 4.0K bitcoin.conf 4.0K bitcoind.pid 113G blocks 2.0G chainstate 1.9M database 0 db.log 134M debug.log 28K fee_estimates.dat 3.6M peers.dat 88K wallet.dat Now, i do have txindex=1 in my bitcoin.conf, so i guess the size can be a little smaller, but IIRC, 10 Gb can only be achieved when you prune (prune=10000 in your bitcoin.conf) Yes, I think I wanted to say 100 GB. Thanks for correction, I've edited my post now. Reference: https://blockchain.info/charts/blocks-size

Excuse my ignorance, but how do I sync the wallet client to today's date?
Basically making sure you're connected to the bitcoin network, and wait untill it's sync'ed... On a slow pc, this might take a long time... Just have patience I had no idea the process took this long, thanks for your help. Makes sense since I sent coin less than a week ago and client is still syncing from 4 years and 33 months ago. I guess I got to run client from the background on my laptop, any idea the length of time it will take to fully complete the syncing? ...if I sent the funds to the wrong address(my first transaction) can the person then access my coinbase account for future transactions when I have substantially more bitcoin in the future on there?...
No, he can't. It even requires some effort for him to figure out where those BTC came from in the first place. The most he can figure out is that the BTC came from Coinbase, nothing else. BTW, how did you get the receiving address for the first transaction? Wasn't it from your own Core wallet?

Thanks for your help Guys
I reset the Block Chain again and afterwards the coins have been restored back to my wallet with the correct balance.
The only new version of Multi Bit that I can find is MULTi BIT HD which apparently wont accept private keys where can I find a newer version of classic multibit
Looking at how Multibit HD is better in many aspects and is more supported, I would advise you to switch from Classic to HD. Just install Multibit HD, create a new address. Send your BTC from Multibit Classic to HD. Then uninstall Classic. (Keep a copy of classic wallet file & private key for future IFs & BUTs)

$800 is the new low floor. Place your buy orders at $805 and then it will shoot up to $2000 from there.
Just kidding & speculating. I don't have a crystal ball. LOL!
I think $930 is the new floor. Thanks, but we just hit $914 on Bitstamp and still going down. Wait a couple of days.

Either this will hold now or we will go down to ~850USD is my guess. Touching the lower bband in the hourly and the mid bband in the daily. From the times today.....
.... .... 23 years old?? .... Satoshi mined thousands of BTC secretly for years before releasing anything to public in 2008. HUGE dump coming soon! ..

Just to let you guys know a big crash is coming in 2016 in the economy. There is going to be a huge financial crisis but it will be worse than 2009.
The bitcoin price will skyrocket to over $10,000. However bitcoin will be banned in all western countries. If you are reading this living in the west you should make preparations to move to Russia or China they are the only places you will be safe owning bitcoins.
The crisis will be so big it will destroy entire countries and in 2017 there will be a civil war in the USA, UK and western europe. After this the world will never be the same again it will change so much by 2020 it will be unrecognizable compared to today.
2016 is over. There was no big financial crash, nevertheless BTC price is on uptrend. I'd like to see if there's a crisis in 2017 so BTC price can hit $10,000 P.S.: Looking at the Brexit & Trump win, the USA civil war cannot be completely ignored

I know, I've reached out to them as per their instructions also. For some reason the majority of folks trade Neos over at polo. 24h volume on Polo is more than 3 BTC; on Bittrex it is 0.2 BTC. I don't know why people prefer Polo so much, personally Bittrex has always been the most reliable exchange for me. I would request the community to move some of their trades on Bittrex so that we're not presented with de-listing threats.

.... About your safe, I hope you pinned it to the ground, because small safes are often prone to theft.
One of the paper wallet is inside my bank locker. See the irony?
