But we cannot say the same for Chelsea. Chelsea will have to make big changes in the team and also get a good manager. It’s really good manager can fix the problems that Chelsea has right now. But even then it will take a lot of time. Chelsea will have to spend a lot of money. I hope they are ready to do that in the next season.
Chelsea already have a manager, he is a decent one, but quite a lot of people do not consider him to be an excellent manager. Pochettino will have his work cut out for him as Chelsea boss considering the position (12th) Chelsea finished last season, he'd have to bring them closer to their previous level (or at least get them back into the CL). I think quite a lot of people are forgetting the number of signings Chelsea made last summer and in January because of the horrendous season that followed it; i don't think they need too many signings again this summer, just a couple would be enough with a good manager to make it all click
1162  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: June 19, 2023, 09:22:50 PM
According to news from dailymail Manchester City is not going to lose their players Kyle Walker and they are trying to make him stay there not the next season other teams and especially Bayern Munich want to hire this player but Macnshter City wants to extend his contract.
Some German news was saying Walker even joined Bayern Munich for 20m.
Kyle Walker is still in discussion with Manchester City, if there is progress in the discussion he will sign a contract extension, if the talks break down, he will leave, and it could prolly be to Bayern Munich. I think Kyle Walker might be concerned with the playing time he is going to get next season, at the beginning of last season he wasn't used quite often by Pep Guardiola, but in the most important part of the season, he became a regular starter again, i'm pretty sure Walker is concerned about what Pep might do next season, he is a big competitor who wants to play every game, but Pep never guarantees that, maybe only with Messi (when he was at Barca).
1163  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Service or Bot for effective and timely DCA execution? on: June 19, 2023, 06:19:03 PM
DCA is a straightforward strategy and it is pretty easy to do, it isn't like day-trading that is time consuming and might require a bot to help you do it, all you need do is to decide how much Bitcoin you want to buy periodically and when you want to make the purchases, this definitely shouldn't take up too much of your time. Hodling Bitcoin requires you to have a high level of responsibility, thus if you can't remember to buy at certain intervals with your DCA strategy, you might struggle with the other important things relating to hodling your funds.
I think you should use Crypto Portfolio Tracker Apps like Coinmarketcap, Cryptowatch, Boockfolio . You can set reminder and they will send you notification about the price movement. It's very necessary when you are doing DCA to make your entry at a lower price.
Accumulating Bitcoins via the DCA strategy entails that you buy at certain intervals, notwithstanding what the price is, thus OP doesn't have to care what their entry price is, they just have to buy at the periodic interval that they have set.

Op your link is broken, thus it is not opening; here's another link.

These hackers are targeting Discord and Twitter accounts, and they perpetrate their scam once they take control of the account, they pretend to be crypto journalists carrying out random interviews before sending their victims a link to perform KYC to prove their identity. It is so alarming how people easily believe it when random people contact them over the internet, they do not even verify if the person is who they claim to be and the next thing they are clicking on links and following instructions dished out by the scammer.

Do not trust; but verify and do not click on links sent to you by random strangers who send you unsolicited messages or try to build trust with you over the internet. Until it is proven otherwise; it is a scam!
1165  Economy / Economics / Re: I don't believe you on: June 19, 2023, 03:54:30 PM
The issue with DEX exchanges is that, so far, they haven't proven to have any significant advantage over CEX, apart from being decentralized.
That's exactly what the significant advantage is, being decentralized, if it is genuinely decentralized it means that it is overall safer and people who use it are not going to trust the exchange but they will have full influence over their funds. They'd also not be concerned about personal data breaches because the decentralized exchange does not hold any of their personal data. These are some of the most cruicial and significant advantages that dex has over cex.
1166  Economy / Economics / Re: I don't believe you on: June 18, 2023, 12:01:54 PM
Same with the exchanges, we put our assets in some trustful exchanges where we could ensure it wouldn't crash based on their performance in a long run. But still it's a good question for people in this thread to answer.
How do you "ensure" that an exchange would not crash, the fact that an exchange has been operating for a long time does not mean that it cannot crash, mind you that most of the exchanges that have crashed lately were all operating/functioning for a long time, yet it didn't stop them from collapsing once they became insolvent. Thus do not put your assets into any exchange because you think they are trusted.

De Gea has been at Man Utd since he was a very young man. I think he joined when he was 19, that’s 12 long years. I don’t think many foreign players stay at one club that long. Maybe he needs a new challenge, perhaps he wants to go back to Spain. I think Man Utd fans should respect his service to the club and wish him well, whatever he decides to do. The decline of Man Utd since Fergie left has nothing to do with him.
De Gea has been great for Manchester United, i think everyone can agree on the fact that he has served them well, though what i have noticed from most Manchester United fans i know is that they do not want de Gea to be at the club next season, they want him to leave, and i think it is because these days de Gea makes costly mistakes that leads to goals against his team. It is understandable from the section of Manchester United fans, but the good things de Gea has done is far greater than his mistakes, and those mistakes isn't the reason why Manchester United haven't been successful for many years now.

Pochettino is a real coach while Lampard is just a retired senior player who only want to make money Cheesy
Pochettino might be a better manager than Lampard, but you are wrong to say that Lampard became a manager only to make money, what i think is that Lampard has not learnt enough to be a top-flight manager, he still has quite a lot to learn, and imo he would be better off moving to a lower league and see if he can make his way up again.
Lampard and Zidane are same, but Zidane is lucky because he managed Real Madrid during Real Madrid's prime, without a coach Real Madrid can still become a champion. I'm not really sure what Pochettino will do to the current Chelsea squad, it's not easy to pick the best eleven players when they have a lot players.
Zidane's success at Real Madrid wasn't down to luck, he managed the team pretty well and that's why he won all that he did in his short spells at the club, it is not as easy as you think to win with Real Madrid, especially winning the CL three times consecutively, which is what Zidane did. Pochettino would prolly never set a record like that, he was given the opportunity at PSG, but he was eliminated from the CL in the RO16.
1169  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why haven't anyone created a crypto currency name Merit yet? on: June 17, 2023, 10:50:19 PM
One thing I was wondering is why nobody yet have created a crypto currency under the name "Merit" yet. Smiley
Well, what makes a cryptocurrency useful isn't its name, but the use case, anybody can create an altcoin and call it whatever, maybe merit or something more interesting, but if the coin doesn't have any utility, it'd be a failed project. Bitcoin is a success because it has an actual utility and not because it was named "Bitcoin", thus even if somebody ever decides to create an altcoin with the name "merit" and it does not solve any problems, it would last for only a short time due to hype and die later
1170  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How can we be sure that our private keys have been generated safely? on: June 17, 2023, 09:15:58 PM
*bitcoin core is the official Bitcoin wallet, I always suggest my friend download that wallet 1st on his PC. I know that little complicated, but if understands, I am really sure he will be safe and understand to save his private key and wallet.dat.
Bitcoin does not have any official wallet, Bitcoin is a decentralized network, so there is no official wallet, website or whatever. Bitcoin core is just the first Bitcoin software created by Satoshi that one can use to run a full node. Spv wallets are also very safe to use, instead of downloading Bitcoin core when you do not have enough storage space, just use a good spv wallet like electrum. Bitcoin core would definitely give you more privacy than spv clients, but other than that your funds are safe in a good spv wallet.
1171  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: June 16, 2023, 05:12:35 PM
I think Erik Ten Hag already has a potential replacement for David De Gea if he leaves, I think Andre Onana will be the candidate if he will replace De Gea,
Whilst André Onana is a decent goalkeeper, i do not think that he is a good upgrade to de Gea, if Manchester United are going to let de Gea leave, i expect them to replace him with someone who is far better than he is, and i don't think Onana is that guy. De Gea has been quite exceptional for Manchester United all these years, but i think it is high time he left the club, in the last couple of years he has become famous for making really costly mistakes, thus for both parties it is better he leaves now and take up a new challenge elsewhere.
1172  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: June 16, 2023, 04:20:58 PM
Brighton & Hove Albion is a team that is developing, this is a good team choice for career advancement, in the last few seasons Brighton & Hove Albion have continued to play well and consistently and it is possible for them to do the same in the next season, especially now that they are already looking to bring in several new players which means this team is preparing to perform even better in the next season.
Brighton are very good at scouting and bringing in quality players, the only problem is once the players develop in Brighton for a couple of years, they become a target for bigger clubs, and Brighton cannot stop them from leaving. They have already lost Mac Allister, and they are going to lose Moises Caicedo soon, and maybe some other players too, if Enciso doesn't leave this summer, i'm pretty sure he will next summer, thus Brighton has a very difficult job of bringing in quality players and losing them after a couple of years. It is what it is anyway, as long as the club achieve its goals, they'd be happy, they are in the Europa league next season, which is a step forward for the club.
1173  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: June 16, 2023, 02:49:17 PM
I don't remember the rumors about Chelsea before Pochettino joins this team but from what I can see on transfermarkt there are already many players they linked to Chelsea however I guess these players are not in the pochettino's list because the rumors are mostly old.
That source is very inaccurate, there are reliable sources to get accurate transfer info, but not this one. Just seeing Vinicius Junior and Oscar on that list is enough to tell you how fake it is, i don't even think Chelsea are after any of those players in that list, neither were they in recent past, all of it is just rumors.

According to Fabrizio Romano, Chelsea are very interested in Brighton's Moises Caiseido, and talks between the player's side and Chelsea is advancing pretty well, i think what is left is an agreement in transfer fee with Brighton. This is one of the latest accurate transfer info as regards Chelsea right now.
1174  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: Africa needs peace in Ukraine and Russia. on: June 16, 2023, 02:30:12 PM
I am just praying that South Africa, Zambia, Senegal, the Republic of Congo, Uganda, and Egypt might find a way to end this war.
That one no go happen na, these countries no go fit get any influence to end this war no matter wetin dem talk or how them try to preach peace, if all the sanctions wey Russia don face since this war start never end am, then e dey impossible say these countries go fit change anything.
This is denying Africans the opportunity to access quality education
E get different countries wey fit provide quality education na, no be only these two countries wey dey in battle now get quality education, and make African countries use their money take improve their own educational sector, so that as their students dey go abroad for good education, foreign students go fit come to Africa for good education.
1175  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How can we be sure that our private keys have been generated safely? on: June 16, 2023, 01:25:34 PM
How can we be sure that our private keys have been generated securely?
Do not trust; verify. That's the only way to be sure of how your private keys have been generated, in closed source wallets you have to trust, because there is no way to verify, thus choose open source wallets that give you the opportunity to verify their codes yourself and be certain that there is nothing malicious in them.

Many Atomic wallet users were hacked for over two weeks now, but because it is closed source nobody can tell what caused it, only Atomic wallet developers can tell what happened, if it were to be open source, the cause would have been known and those who are affected/unaffected would know what went wrong and what to do next.
1176  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Beware of Pig Butchering Scam! on: June 15, 2023, 01:00:04 PM
This type of scam didn't just recently gain popularity, maybe the terminology ("Pig Butchering") did. For quite a long time people have been victims of this kind of scam, the difficult part of this scam is the stage of building trust with the potential victim, the trust is mostly in form of a relationship/friendship, i don't know if these victims are deprived of 'love' in real life, that they have to seek for it online.

Once they establish trust/love/confidence in their victim, it becomes so easy to scam them, mind you that they do not just scam the victim only once, but multiple times, after each episode they always have one more lie to follow it up and drag the victim further into their pit. Thus if the victim remembers how much they have already invested, they'll choose to continue paying to get the promised reward, rather than stopping now and lose all the money invested as well as the promised (fake) reward. The scam only stops once the victim realizes that they have been fooled all along.

I don't think you have issues with your account or any security breach. Reasons why you're receiving the message above is because you're trying to empty your wallet to another one and the system is warning you to authenticate your wallet security so you don't get your account exposed to a scam. I think it's just a safety precautionary measures that the system practices to secure your privacy.
There is no risk when you are sending all your funds out of your wallet, the message is not related to scam, wallet authentication or other whatnots that you have mentioned, it is just an advisory message that can help with privacy, though mind you that only this cannot protect ones privacy, you can send your funds to different addresses or ensure that whilst sending funds out it has a change, but the addresses can still be connected to you, if you want to bolster your privacy, you must be careful with the exchanges and services that you use from the beginning, because once privacy is lost, it becomes too hard to get it back.
1178  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: June 15, 2023, 12:17:08 PM
There are reports that West ham United rejected the first bid made for Declan Rice and that they were unimpressed by both the size & the structure of Arsenal’s first offer. As Arsenal have made him as their primary target this season I expect Arsenal to make another bid, even though Manchester City will also come in for Rice. IMO I think West ham are just playing to get Arsenal to pay up on time. Manchester City don’t need him and Manchester city isn’t like Todd Boehly that would sign player because rivals want to sign him.
City won't bid for Rice, West Ham are being outrageous with their demands and City do not pay more than what they think a player is worth, they'd rather back down from the bid, they did it with Kane, Cucurella (who eventually joined Chelsea) and many other players as well. City also have Rodri who is the best defensive midfielder in the world, and it is expected that Kalvin Phillips would also improve next season, so there is no need to buy Rice for an outrageous amount.

Goodluck to Arsenal, they might get their man if they manage to bring out the money West Ham are requesting, if they cannot, another team is going to buy him, it happened with Mudryk, they lost the player to Chelsea, we'd see if they'll get Rice or lose him to another rival as well.
1179  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: the impact of the border reopening and the unified exchange rate on the naira on: June 15, 2023, 05:57:42 AM
I no go lie oh, but the decisions wey this new administration don take thus far dey make sense wella, na very hard decisions wey go affect Nigerians for the short term, but the benefits choke for the long term. When we been get official rate and parallel market rate, the 'big' men dey use am chop, dem go get their connection for commercial banks or the CBN, buy dollar at official rate, come go sell am for black market, this pattern of arbitraging no help the nation at all.

Unified exchange rate go make sense if the government also work hard on other sectors of the economy and on local production, na all of these go attract investors and ensure say we maintain a free market, if e happen like that our banks go dey get enough reserve of dollars in order to maintain the unity of the exchange rate with the black market, because if scarcity go dey for banks, then black market traders go hike their price as scarcity dey.

Hopefully Newcastle can replicate the form of last season as they go into this season. I hope the Board will recognise the need to build a squad capable of competing on a European and domestic front next season. They’re now in the UCL and that’s an advantage they have to attract whosoever they want.
Last season was a historic one for Newcastle, they are going to be playing in the CL next season, and by extension in 4 different competitions. It is definitely going to be an interesting season for their players, but if they do not strengthen their squad, they would struggle quite a lot, and could prolly not finish in the top four, or go far in the cup competitions.

Having said that, they have the money and now they have achieved something capable of alluring quality players, i think Newcastle are going to be pretty busy in this transfer window, a few quality players in important departments of the team is what they need and they would be ready to go again next season.
