1201  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Trying to make SIGHASH_SINGLE transaction on: August 05, 2023, 11:27:04 PM
The error bad-txns-inputs-missingorspent it means that you have UTXO missing or you might be trying to spend an already spent uTXO.

Check this part below

Code:
txid = lx('tx number 1')
vout = 0
txid2 = lx('tx number 2')
vout2 = 1

Did you add the hash of your unspent transaction under tx number 1 and 2? Can you add UTXO hash if ever you forgot to add it.

And another thing don't forget to add where you want send it under txout.

I don't know what you mean by the dark side of Bitcoin but I don't see that Bitcoin is heaven for hackers(like the above said hackers can also do it on fiat/cash) it is just likely the same as Fiat which you can use anywhere online the difference is Bitcoin does not have physical currency compared to fiat and Bitcoin does not controlled by governments due to decentralization.

Bitcoin is just digital money only users made it to have a dark side of it.
1203  Economy / Exchanges / Re: how to get bitcoin by RMB or HKD cash? on: August 05, 2023, 10:33:25 PM
physical cash or fiat currency

I am so sorry , what is the difference between them  , Do you mean Physical cash as gold or something.

There is no difference between them I think he just forgot to add if it's an online currency(like Debit/credit card/bank) and physical cash on hand like you said you have paper cash that is physical cash.

How about buying BTC at any available Bitcoin ATM near your area there is a limit buying BTC on ATMs that do not need KYC verification.
1204  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Any Bitrefill experts here? privacy questions on: August 05, 2023, 04:26:09 PM
If you are worried about tainted coins to use on buying gift cards on Bitrefil there is another way to buy products privately on Amazon without an account.
Have you heard of purse.io?

If not, it would be a great option to buy products available on Amazon. And they also have discount compared on buying gift cards.
1205  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: coinwalletonline promoting the cloned website of coinb.in on: August 04, 2023, 11:01:24 PM
I visited the website coinbin.homes/searchbalance/ but it doesn't look like a Coinb.in but clicking the home it brings you back to the same page. However, after clicking the coinbin.homes indeed it's a clone version of Coinb.in.
It's weird on the first access on the site because they pointed you to a different page without exploring the site you will never know that there is a trap.
1206  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: motherboard Antminer Z15 on: August 04, 2023, 03:27:44 PM
What do you mean by gone is it broken or do you mean the control board is gone and only the hashboard is left?

ZeusBTC is a legit site as suggested above but if you are looking for safety then why not buy directly on Bitmain?

It seems they do have stocks of control boards for this unit check the link below.

1207  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: Ask for help on the failure of the antminer 17 series temperature sensor on: August 03, 2023, 07:07:16 PM
~snip~

I never heard of HulkOS before but the image shows the wrong sensor type and then calibrate temp sensor failed.

Is this only happen in chain 1 or does all hashboard have the same error?

What steps that you already tried? Did you recently replace the miner with a new hashboard without a code editor or Pickit?

If you already tried changing PSU as suggested above and if this is not a hardware issue then can you try dumping the PIC firmware from the other 2 known working hashboard and then flash it to this hashboard(chain 1)?

Don't forget to dump the PIC firmware first from (chain 1) just in case you can revert it back to its original state.
1208  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: Need Help with diagnosing 3 S19's with possible PSU failure. on: August 02, 2023, 11:59:59 PM
hell there,

did you manage to fix the miners?

i have also 4 s19j pro and s19pros having same problem alll of sudden on a humid day when my internet disconnected for few hours and machines stopped mining and more moisture came in while their only fans were on. when i noticed i turned on the internet connection but the 3 s19 j pros didnt mine even after plenty of restart and cleaning and tried everything.

here is the current log, it either show the init failed of temp too high

If the suggestion above does not work then that's a hardware issue sometimes temp too high is due to a broken ASIC chip that needs to be replaced or a loose heatsink that needs to be attached properly. It needs a BGA HotAir blower to replace the chip or to reattach the heatsink.

But if you don't have tools then it would be better to hire a technician I already posted a link above where you can find a repair center.
1209  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: Innosilicon T2T-30T on: August 02, 2023, 11:27:17 PM
Is there any device connected to the router?
What I think is it might be an IP conflict and maybe one of your devices uses the same IP as the affected miner.

What I would like you to try is to remove all non-affected miners and other devices connected to the same router and then leave the affected miner and PC/Laptop on the same router and try to access it again.
If it didn't work replug/reboot the router and check the router if it is set to DHCP mode and then if you can access the miner set it to static and put the right IP and DNS.

1210  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Original Helium Miner Help on: August 01, 2023, 11:58:51 PM
https://www.trustedreviews.com/reviews/helium-hotspot

It's one of these. Literally the original hotspot, ordered from helium.

It has no model # on it that I can find.

How about the brand name?
Like samples Bobcat, SenseCap or Nebra use the brand name and search it on Google with a double quote like sample below

Code:
"Bobcat" firmware

The result should be the right site that includes the firmware for your hotspot miner.
1211  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: I have cheap electric, wondering if mining is now something that I can do profit on: August 01, 2023, 11:51:35 PM
That's a pretty cheap rate and you should make a profit on new units from Bitmain like the sample Antminer S19 XP Hydro with the current difficulty and the price of Bitcoin you can earn around $12 a day that's not stable because the price of BTC is not stable and the difficulty keeps increasing.

If I were you try this calculator below that includes break-even analysis.

1212  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Even in escrow can get scammed :| on: August 01, 2023, 11:34:33 PM
~snip~

Alternatively as already suggested above I think it would be better before you send the voucher ask the buyer that your voucher is not refundable unless he has video proof that the voucher does not work. And then ask the buyer to start recording a screen video before sending the voucher until redeeming.

It is much safer I guess than asking escrow to temporarily log in to buyer's account and redeem by itself.
1213  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Bitcoin peers connection = 0? How to download blockchain? on: August 01, 2023, 05:46:14 PM
It looks like there is something that blocks these peers to connect to your Bitcoin core.

You can share the debug.log here so that we can check what the cause of this issue.

Would you mind trying to disable your router's firewall and test it again?

If didn't work try to delete peers.dat but make sure to close Bitcoin core first and rerun it once the peers.dat is gone.
1214  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Do you think it will be ok to order a batch of video cards from China for mining on: August 01, 2023, 05:30:44 PM
Do you think it will be ok to order a batch of video cards from China for mining ?

It depends on where/what company or shop you are planning to buy these cards. Make sure you are dealing with a legit company or sellers with a warranty it won't be ok if you deal with random people in China.

You can give us a link here where you plan to buy a batch of these cards. So that we can check if that company or seller is legit.
1215  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: How to create addresses with XPub on: August 01, 2023, 05:12:22 PM
What exactly do you want to achieve?
Are you planning to create a payment gateway where you can accept payment directly to your wallet?

You can host this https://btcpayserver.org/ in your server and it is ready to use and it only requires xPub of your wallet.
1216  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: I thought I would never get hacked... on: August 01, 2023, 05:02:24 PM
Please, don't use Grammarly if you want to remain anonymous online under different names on different platforms. They record every sentence that you type, then analyze your writing ability, your writing style, manner, etc.
In order to improve your writing ability and expand your vocabulary, I suggest you to use Cambridge books, personally I love them and Thomas BJ has great books for vocabulary and idioms.

Thanks for the suggestion but I don't have a budget to buy these books do you have any free source?
I'm only using Grammarly sometimes when writing some content here or in WP blogs but when typing a password or copying/pasting some important details I always switch it back to the default keyboard(Samsung keyboard).
1217  Bitcoin / Wallet software / Re: WARNING when using mobile device wallets (Android, iOS) on: August 01, 2023, 01:06:10 PM
The same as I described above - closed sourced and operated by a huge corporation which makes large amounts of money from your data. I wouldn't trust it.

Gboard: https://reports.exodus-privacy.eu.org/en/reports/com.google.android.inputmethod.latin/latest/
Samsung Keyboard: https://reports.exodus-privacy.eu.org/en/reports/com.samsung.keyboard.themes/latest/
Swiftkey: https://reports.exodus-privacy.eu.org/en/reports/com.touchtype.swiftkey/latest/

All of these keyboards require internet access. I wonder why? Roll Eyes

The link you provided above for Samsung is the fake one it contains Facebook ads and that's not the official one they don't have a Samsung keyboard on Google Playstore you can only download them on Galaxy store.

And According to Samsung if you are afraid of your privacy you can request a source code of their keyboard directly at https://opensource.samsung.com/

I'm using Samsung all permission is denied and I disabled smart typing and other features. It only requires the internet when there is a new update or you enable other 3rd party content like Google and Emoji.
1218  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: Transaction pending after 1 week on: July 31, 2023, 11:18:20 PM
yes of course, i still dont understand how i could make the mistake four times
but now i have selected "send only confirmed money"
hope i will never do the mistake

to resume i didnt sent coin to other address except mine for 30sat?

The only mistake you did is that you tried to bump the transaction but you paid a low fee. Because when using the bump fee feature on Electrum you need to increase the fee more than the previous transaction but you paid it low than the recommendation.

And there is no problem sending your BTC to your wallet and actually, it helps to consolidate all UTXO into one that can reduce the transaction fee in the future when you made a new transaction.
1219  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: Trying to verify signatures for Windows installer on: July 31, 2023, 10:20:46 PM

Thanks for your help! Seems like it was an ISP issue, just needed to turn on a VPN.

No you don't need to use VPN it's a server issue related to the website not your ISP. You can just wait I'm sure it would work later without using VPN.

You can also try to download it on Incognito mode but if the issue still there I suggest try to change your PC DNS to cloudflare DNS 1.1.1.1 and 1.0.0.1
1220  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: Innosilicon T2T-30T on: July 31, 2023, 01:03:48 PM
Actually, the information we got from your post above is not enough we don't know what the cause of this issue if you can share the logs here maybe we can give you some solution to fix this issue.

However, would you mind to try clear your browser's cache it might fix your issue.
