1221  Economy / Economics / Re: Entrepreneurship and women on: August 23, 2022, 11:10:00 PM
in every country different rules that the government applies to women but for my own country there are none, so that between women and men have the same rights and there are no special rules, and the impact of the equal rights can be said 35% of macro businesses have been carried out by a woman and most women running micro-enterprises it is 40-45% higher, but basically in business and work men dominate because 70% of women in my country prefer to be housewives
this is my personal opinion by looking at the environment around me

Even today women are given more rights than men. As long as they have the ability and ability to take on the responsibility, they can do anything that we men can do.

The topic of equality, in my opinion, no longer seems to be a matter that is discussed by many people these days, as it used to. Women can do politics and men can become housewives if that is their preference and desire.
The equality between men and women is no longer an issue and is even accepted by most of men nowadays. In fact, if you have a responsible and business minded partner in life, that would mean another advantage because you will grow and prosper together faster than you could imagine. So at least you should also show support to your woman because being an entrepreneur also means risk and brings failure once there is no proven strategies to be used.
1222  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Touching the life of random poor kids with all my 3wks campaign BTC on: August 23, 2022, 08:56:46 PM
This is good and I must commend you OP for taking out your time, energy and resources to reach out to poor kids in your area and to also promote Bitcoin and its importance to them. I believe in time to come, these kids will likely want to know more about Bitcoin hence they were informed that the T-shirts and other gift items came from someone who is a Bitcoiner.

I have given you two merit to appreciate your generosity and I hope you continue with the good work in touching lives through your earnings and promoting Bitcoin to everyone around you.
Not only you were able to help them, but you also open their innocent minds to the world of bitcoin and its real value. Now they already have an idea that bitcoin is not a scam, and would never want to do harm to other people just because of self-satisfaction. Hopefully, this will create a good motivation to them to learn about bitcoin and engage in it because there are a lot of opportunities in bitcoin waiting to be seized and discovered.
1223  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Taking the awareness of crypto and Btt forum to the youths on: August 22, 2022, 11:39:30 PM
You are doing a great job OP. Even though sharing some knowledge could lead also to rejection and non believers.  I am sharing too on my friends whom dont have knowledge with it and so far only some of them believes me until now.  Well they only get attentive when the hype on axie infinity roam around the globe.  Thats where they saw that cryptocurrency has a nice application to real world.  I am looking forward to blockchain dominance and how it can help us even more than simply a financial alternative without much restriction.
A lot of times where I heard people around me saying that bitcoin won’t last long because it’s a scam, although I always explain to them the facts about bitcoin. But I guess no matter how we tried to teach them,  we don’t have any hold to the people as to what they’ll end up believing, either they stick to their new gained information and become open to bitcoin or would still end up believing the old idea they used to believe. I’m just glad OP that you succeeded in your part and hopefully those young minds will continue to build their own names in bitcoin and become the next legends in the forum in the future.
1224  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Either Bitcoin will end or we will be at the peak of inflation on: August 22, 2022, 10:46:54 PM
Too big to fall now, I mean bitcoin has been in existence for more than a decade now and yet even if we have the worst economic disaster like the effect of Covid-19 globally and then the war in EU, still reaches new all time high in November 2021. Then the bubble has been burst and we are in the bear market. Nevertheless, we will rebound again in 2024 and the bullish cycle starts. So it will not be the end, but we will continue to grow in the future.
That’s how bitcoin works, it’s price falls because it has also its own flaws, and it’s own negative effects from the global economic, but it will never end up being dead as bitcoin will bound to grow and prosper through the years. Although not all are convinced on the potentials of bitcoin, but a lot already have started to fall for bitcoin because they have seen something worth to take risk in bitcoin.
1225  Economy / Economics / Re: Why aren't people utilising cryptocurrency payment methods? on: August 21, 2022, 11:41:49 PM
It's mostly a matter of regulation, but there's bound to be a lot of other things that would cause it to not be used. I don't think traders really want to use bitcoin as a means of payment, that just doesn't seem right considering they just want to profit from the trades they make. Trader are the smallest in terms of adoption, they do not use bitcoin as a means of payment although in some cases some of them can use it for certain services.

The risk of volatility is the most talked about thing when one talks about the adoption of bitcoin as a means of payment. I can justify that, and by far it has been the most influencing factor for bitcoin adopters out there even in countries that have legalized bitcoin as a means of payment like El Salvador.
Having volatility issues is one thing that doubt others to use bitcoin as a payment method because it’s price keeps on changing and is never fixed. And to think that bitcoin is much better when used as an investment rather than spending it like fiat, then it’s not surprising that most traders would want to hold and trade it later since they will surely benefit huge profits from it.
1226  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Be a Bitcoin believer on: August 21, 2022, 09:58:47 PM
Cryptocurrency pioneers, nice to meet you, this is my dad's account.
He is a dedicated promoter of the crypto community. He used to explain Bitcoin to me when I was a kid. He watched Bitcoin come into being and grow. Because Bitcoin was too expensive to target for long-term storage, he often remorse. Many times he lost money by investing in cheaper altcoins, and the chronic stress of family life and work overload left him depressed.
I read the discussion on the development of Bitcoin in the early days of the forum, and felt very magical and incredible. This is a great invention, a great era. When Bitcoin was born, I was a 7-year-old ignorant girl, and I also missed it. got it.
We weren't there when shells were money, we weren't there when gold was there, we weren't there when cars were there, and I wasn't there when electricity was there. Those who can mine 50BTC or 25BTC in one block, you are the luckiest!
The developers of the Bitcoin community, a group of young geniuses, who did not want to have fun when they were young, but got into the field of cryptography and created a great Bitcoin. For their ideals and beliefs, I adore them very much!
I hate altcoins, they made my dad lose money and they are just imitating bitcoin, a lot of altcoins are just to scam money and then disappear, and the real king is bitcoin. So I call on everyone to join me and only believe in Bitcoin, abandon those altcoins that cheat money, and just follow it!
Its good to see that someone like you has appreciated the value of bitcoin so much, because you know exactly the struggle of bitcoin is. However, its not that easy to convince everyone particularly newbies to never trust altcoins at all as they can be source of great losses. Altcoins are cheaper than bitcoin, and they can be very promising too according to their own developers. But those who stayed long in the market know exactly that altcoins are only good at the start, and they quickly turned to scams in the end and steal our money.
1227  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Canelo vs Golovkin 3 - September 17 on: August 19, 2022, 04:26:05 PM
Can't even imagine Canelo weighing 200 pounds just to get a fight with some boxers in cruiserweight, for sure he'd struggle more than he could imagine because guys there are much more natural compared to him who's just jacked up just to get the weight. I agree that 160 lbs. and 168 lbs. are much more suitable for him, he got to maintain his status in that division because there will be boxers in the future who will try to get one of his belts.
1228  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Shakur Stevenson vs Robson Conceicao - Sept 23 on: August 19, 2022, 03:46:31 PM
^^ Yes, this is also my point, boxing politics, it just frustrate us boxing fans that this managers and promoters are not giving us the fight that we wanted to see, because after all boxing is business and these people wanted more money, like Bob Arum's style of having fights in-house so that all money will be his and his boxers. So this is going to huge if the fight are going to be made in the future, specially if both of them remain unbeaten and still both champions.

These are promoters' cash cows and they don't want to kill their cash cow so they cherry-picked opponents for their favorite champion, Crawford made the right decision getting out of Bob Arum he cannot give him legacy fights like the one he is working for against his arch-rival Spence, boxers like Canelo who is a free agent is getting the good fights that he wants because he gets rid of these kinds of promoters.

That's already natural in this industry because promoters will try and tease the people first to make some hype before making the fight to reality, along the way the promoters will let their boxers defeat all possible foes first that they think won't stand a chance for their boxers. And for Crawford's case, let's not forget that Bob is also an important factor in why he reached the position he had now but Crawford's mistake is that he waited long enough before he leaves Bob even though he already knows that Bob doesn't care for his legacy.

That has been the strategy of Bob Arum over the years. He focuses mostly on how to make money from the boxers that he handles. However, we shouldn't unlike or hate him for that because he also does his part for boxers to create and establish a good career and name in the industry. It's just quite unfair for boxers who are being used and dragged down just to raise the career of their boxers.

Not just Bob Arum but almost all of the promoters in the boxing industry would want to make money especially if they have a great boxer carrying their flagship. As for Bob Arum, he's quite good at it and frankly, he is quite fast enough to find a match for his boxers so that the money will be flowing straight. If I were a great boxer, I would want to land on Bob Arum's roof because of that reason but at the same time, smart enough to leave his roof when I already made a name in the industry as money will always follow.
1229  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: August 19, 2022, 03:25:39 PM
So the biggest NBA news today is Lebron James' 2-year contract extension worth a staggering $97.1 million. He now reclaimed the highest paid NBA player in the league and at the same time the highest total salary earnings in the history of the NBA which is half a billion dollars. The amazing achievement of an already 37-year-old baller. But we will see if his dream of becoming a champion once again becomes a reality. Many legendary veterans before like Tim Duncan and Dirk Nowitzki sacrificed huge portions of their salaries in order for the team to create openings and be able to compete at the top. The Lakers though is a different team since it is one of the richest teams in the NBA so maybe they are willing to pay an additional luxury tax of more than 100% of its players' salaries just like the Warriors.

LeBron has had a phenomenal career, and I'm really impressed that he can still show great results to qualify for such a huge contract. Honestly, I don't think there has been any other player over the age of 37 who could also qualify for that kind of paycheck. By the way, LeBron will be 40 years old after the end of the 24/25 season, and it's even sad to realize as it means this contract will probably be the last or penultimate one of his career.

I guess that's what we are expecting of him, and could retire as one of the Lakers great, he did bring one ring to them in the bubble. And this kind of player are just one of a kind, and if there is really a freak in NBA it could be Lebron's staying power, the way he molded himself, his body of course to be that competitive can still jump and dunk the ball like he was still a rookie. It will be interesting if he can really play with his son because that is his dream before he finally hang up his jersey in the next 2 years.

Yes, probably he'll retire in Lakers but that ain't sure as of now because he also said that he would follow his son to whichever team Bronny will fall. The good thing about Lebron is that he doesn't really rely on his talent alone because he knew that it wouldn't make him what he is today if he will just rely on his talent all the way, he added some extra recipe for him to be great and that is the dedication and hard work.
1230  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can change of environment have an effect on gambling addiction. on: August 18, 2022, 04:39:55 PM
The gambling mindset is still there he still can remember his sessions his wins the excitement gambling generates and he will try to replicate that feeling by playing cards with people, if you are an addict you will use your imagination to replicate the feelings, if there is a will there is a way for gambling addict, the absence will just make him misses the dopamine.
It might happen for the early days that you have been away to the place where you used to gamble.

But I think eventually you'll get over it especially if you really want to stop your gambling addiction. The change of environment is good to start anew, different from what you used to, and much better if there's no way you can access an internet so you can move on. Anyway, it depends on the gambler if he's determine to stop and the level of his addiction.

Having access to the internet is not that kind of a big deal because the addicted gambler is now surrounded by new types of people who have other activities and habits which are really far from all types of gambling and the environment is also new. This will really help the gambler to keep his life on the right track and that access to the internet won't be a problem as the gambler is now motivated to do the habits and activities of people that surrounds him or her.
1231  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Crawford vs Spence on: August 18, 2022, 03:56:55 PM
That is a big possibility for them to have a rematch clause and I guess it's good to include it. Right, the rematch could be very much different, purse split, revenue gates and others.

And it's just we are thinking what keep the fight? they have the date in November, and with this kind of  magnitude, they can get any venue they can get in the America. Last Vegas, Atlantic City anything that has a gambling and huge casino because come fight night there will be a lot of whales who is going to watch and obviously will gamble in any hotel casinos.

Agreed to this so that the rematch will not suffer any dispute on profit sharing if they will already set the distribution in advance just to secured the next fight for this undisputed fight. I’m sure there will be an issue on profit sharing especially for the winner of this fight since he will demand more since he prove himself. This might cause a lot of trouble to finalize if the winner will demand huge share that other party won’t accept. They should add the rematch clause on the current contract.

I'm sure they already see this possibility, so let's expect that once the contract is sign, they already have the necessary details agreed upon. If what is written in the contract is only a rematch clause, then a trilogy would be another story, and hopefully we will reach at that level in this rivalry.

Even a rematch clause will be another story as we don't know who will be on the A-side in their rematch, it could be Spence and it could be Crawford, we don't really know. One thing is for sure, there will be a rematch as long as the fight ends in a decision because if the fight ends in TKO or KO then I guess they will struggle to sell the rematch fight because it's already clear who's more dominant. But yes, I'd say that this will be much interesting if their rivalry will reach trilogy.
1232  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Canelo vs Golovkin 3 - September 17 on: August 18, 2022, 03:32:03 PM
And I am surprised people choosing Canelos next opponent, like he has already beaten GGG. It might turn that there will be a necessity to make a fourth fight, because it will be a draw and both will have 1-1 record.

Part of the speculation and you just need to let it be.

Since Canelo has tons of advantages in this fight, that makes most speculators believe that he will win this trilogy fight against GGG.

And disregarding the result of this trilogy, it does make sense that people talk about Canelo's next opponent because it's unclear whether he will still push his journey at Light HeavyWeight or will remain in his comfort zone even though he's already an undisputed fighter on it and no more challenges left there.

Right, let's just accept the reality that Canelo has more chances to win in this fight but that doesn't mean that he will be the one to be held as the winner of this trilogy because GGG can still fight and give Canelo a hard time. Either way, Canelo will still have to face other boxers because this won't be the end game of his career. Also, there is still this unknown boxer that Canelo will have to face this year or early 2023 because as far as I remember, it was written in the contract that Canelo will fight Bivol, GGG and the 3rd unknown boxer.

1234  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: August 18, 2022, 01:51:41 PM
There's no more excuse for them as they have the big 3 now.

Durant
Irving
Simmons.

This big 3 is strong enough to bring this team into the championship, the only problem is their chemistry and the two superstars passion to play as they have asked to be traded, hopefully that will not affect their performance in the season to come.

More like big 3 headaches for the organization to me Cheesy

I'm expecting that they will play their best and bring the Nets to the finals. They cannot keep that drama forever, their future will be affected and I'm sure they understand that as although they are no anymore young, their value is still high. They just have to had an impressive season, teams will be making ways to make that trade possible.

They can literally do that if they will work together as a team and forget all the self-centered attitudes because that will be the reason why the team won't reach far enough or even playoffs, but don't keep your hopes high because Ben Simmons is still a mystery for the team as he's not yet proven that he is already back on track and there's KD drama too.
1235  Economy / Economics / Re: Tips to save my finances, to grow personal economy on: August 16, 2022, 09:21:05 PM
Frugality, making savings is literally what most do thinking that they are secure because they have money. But I tell you that there is nothing will happen and grow/multiply your money in this way, investing is the most ideal when it comes to this.
You can have your financial freedom and reach your goal in business or investing but yes, you have to face the risks which is one reason some people afraid. I'm not going to say that you have to unless you are willing to do so. Have to think about it several times before deciding.
Its good to see yourself being frugal as it gives you advantage to earn and save your money. However, the money you keep on saving the whole time will never increase and grow unlike when you take the risk and put them into investments. That way, once your investment works, your money will generate to create more money, that makes you financially secured in the long run. Now if this is your own vision to yourself, start investing now but learn to save first your capital and research so you can come up with a right choice of investment.
1236  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The government of my country always blame Bitcoin for their failure. on: August 16, 2022, 08:47:13 PM
Well, that's pretty typical. Certain governments make a disastrous management and to blame for their ills they always look for an external enemy.

In this case, blaming Bitcoin for things like inflation, which has been historically high in the country, is laughable.

The bad thing is that this type of attitude on the part of governments does not solve anything, but tends to make things worse, as in Argentina.

Good luck to those of you who live there.
That makes most of the government these days blame their failures onto bitcoin because they see it as a threat to their own currency, when in fact bitcoin is here to serve more convenience to the people, and not literally to compete with fiat. And when we say government failure, its because they always look into their personal greed and find satisfaction, while leaving the citizens suffer from the consequences of their actions.
1237  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Mastering the market movement is what aid profits and not the price. on: August 16, 2022, 07:56:43 PM
As a day trader or a passive trader, most are confused about how to make the best out of the market, and many will always complain of losses during a bear market, meanwhile with the right mastery one can make massive profits in the bear market and this goes further to clarify the fact that market conditions do not have much to.do with your profit maximizing but proper market mastering is what gives profits in whatever market.
It takes a lot of varied experiences before a good trader master the market movement, as the market moves very uncertain and unpredictable. That is why if you trade without studying and analyzing the market movement, you will eventually end up losing. While those who trade with good market analysis and have high experiences in trading, mostly end up with a successful trade as they are more inclined to the different market movement.
1238  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Taking profits vs holding long term? on: August 16, 2022, 07:37:47 PM
Do both if you can. Hold for a long time to get a good ROI without much panic. And trade with some funds if you are a pro trader. Traders would multiply portfolios even in bear, of course only risk takers could do it. Though I do long trade now which looks like a hold. But I don't hold for too long. When I have a good profit I just sell and wait for a dip. If happens to dip then accumulate, if not I will wait. I can't short trade lately due to lack of time and experience as well.
If you are an experienced trader, you can actually do both and make profits regardless of the market condition. A good trader will always love to take profits everytime, but it also demands more risk because you could lose everything you have with just a single wrong move. That is why most people here prefer less risk and just hold their investments for long term, and only sell them when bull run happens since its actually a perfect time to sell.
1239  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What's your biggest missed opportunity in crypto on: August 15, 2022, 11:47:08 PM
It was when I have known BTC for the longest time but doubted buying it during the early years when its value was just 1000usd. I thought of it as another Ponzi scheme since I have trust issues before. I was too surprised when it reached a good value last 2017. I never thought that Bitcoin could go this far. However, I believe that it isn't late for me to invest in Bitcoin again so as much as possible, I'm accumulating more of it yearly because I don't want to have the same regrets again.
Bitcoin was also my biggest regret for not buying it an early time. I never thought it’s value will definitely go this far, as I also thought that investing in it before will only make me regret and lose my money as others will always say that bitcoin is a big scam. It will make you profitable at first, but will scam you in the end. Now, to correct my mistake, I start DCAing with bitcoin. I know whatever it’s price now, it will always bound to reach the highest price in the crypto market, so now I’m taking every single opportunity to buy and hold for long term.
1240  Other / Archival / Re: Entrepreneurship or Office job? on: August 15, 2022, 08:43:40 PM
IMO, it's entrepreneurship if you have the money for capital.
About the hardships in finding buyers, social media is an open space where most people are hanging around buying everything 24/7. That the target for marketing the products.
There will always be a way when it comes to business but being an employee for a company, there is no other way and going up in ranks is a difficult tasks especially when there's a lot of people aiming the same spot.
If you can have them both, then there will be bigger chances of good income that will enter your wallet. However, since everyone of us has its own target goal, some people take the risk and leave their jobs to step into a new milestone with pure business or investment. Taking profits is not easy but if the person is working hard to make his business succeed, then its always possible to end up with huge profits. Although not all were lucky to make their business works, but there's no harm in trying if you are just willing to take the risk.
