1262  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Did gambling cause you to have difficulty in sleeping as a gambler? on: April 03, 2020, 05:11:05 PM

Well, I think all the gamblers are also experience that thing, because based on my past experienced about that, when I first try in gambling and I win on every gambling platform that I played it was very difficult to get sleeping, because I always thinking and imagine in my head that I played gambling so that it was difficult for me to sleep. The solution that I did is before sleep I need to make other things that made me memorable in my mind, and it was a very effective solution for me. Until now, I didn’t experienced difficulty in sleeping.

It is confusing but I think I know what you are saying. When I did my first bet, I never thought that I will be addicted to it but that addiction did not just appear overnight, I am gambling for I think a year before that developed. When I realized I am addicted, that starts those sleepless nights regretting those things that I've done. Luckily I have my wife that pushed me out of that spot.
1263  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Will you gamble right after coronavirus outbreaks? on: April 03, 2020, 04:29:25 PM
Yes but if you go to a place where most of people are immune it's a rather safe place because immune people will prevent the circulation of the virus. So I think this kind of places will be pretty safe at the end.

Despite the immunity of the people, I don't think we should say it like that since there are already a lot of people that died from the virus despite of their immunity to diseases. They might stop the first signs but when it is already at that stage where it is affecting their lungs, that would learn their lesson. Another thing is that people might be immune but there are a lot of people that have a strong immune system like them.
1264  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin the anonymous cryptocurrency on: April 03, 2020, 12:59:54 PM
Bitcoin is not anonymous. That is why bitcoin mixers are so popular and there are a lot of Bitcoin mixers on Bitcointalk too. But I think that Bitcoin has a big future because people need it. Even now when there is a world financial crysis Bitcoin is more stable than fiat and stock market.

Well, it is not that people need it since it is not an essential but people want it to be able to earn a good profit in the future. It is proven that despite the stock and the fiat being affected by the pandemic, the price of bitcoin is still stabling at a certain price. Well, it is not that the pandemic can directly affect the price of bitcoin. Another thing is that because of the pseudonymity of bitcoin, the government might create a law or a policy on using it in the future.
1265  Economy / Economics / Re: How can we get people to use bitcoin as a currency? on: April 03, 2020, 03:02:32 AM
bitcoin no longer meets the requirements of consumers who need to be able to pay quickly and inexpensively. Be realistic. Bitcoin is not intended for payment.

Some would say that bitcoin is developed to be a great investment in the incoming future or in the near future but it is not always about the investors but it is also how would they be able to make people use it. That is the reason why with the Lightning Network, we would be able to use it for payment as it is faster and more efficient. With the growing use of the internet in our lives, it is inevitable for Bitcoin to be left in the sidelines.
1266  Economy / Economics / Re: Will the government understand? on: April 02, 2020, 11:58:53 PM
Depend with who become government, maybe if your country have governor and president understand about currency and know with bitcoin or altcoin, one day they will allow using bitcoin as legal payment transaction and give access to every one to buy and invest with bitcoin or altcoin.

Despite the country banning bitcoin or other crypto currencies in your country, you can still buy or invest in bitcoin. What I am saying here is that despite the legalization of the government about it, they will not be pushing everyone to invest or buy it since it is decentralized, that might affect the reputation of that person. In these times, every person is a critic.
1267  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling is like day trading ? on: April 02, 2020, 03:43:43 PM

Yes, gambling is almost likely to day trading because it is only few people that are succeed day trading because it was very risky to do that and it need a deep knowledge onto it
and needs a lot of effort to fully understand the day trading.
Gambling and day trading are both risky because it is not 100% sure that you win it.

The only common with these two is the fact that they are both risky. In terms of earning, gambling is better but it is also riskier than day trading but for me, it is worse than day trading. Gambling usually is based on luck, though there are some those games where you can analyze your bets carefully, most of the people are playing luck-based games. It is a high-risk high reward situation while day trading may also give you losses, it will not fully lose the money you invested.
1268  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Will you gamble right after coronavirus outbreaks? on: April 02, 2020, 03:10:03 PM
That is expected since they've been away from gambling for how many weeks. But as you have said, it is actually the best decision to avoid playing after lockdown. People need to work hard and start saving money and stop thinking for gambling just for now.

Money is a problem right now here in our country. It's been almost 3 weeks since the community quarantine is happening and a lot of people are having a hard time since they are just home and waiting for their salaries to be given. I think they are not thinking about gambling right now, some of them actually told me that they would rather stay at their houses being nagged by their partners rather than gamble right now. They are not in their houses right now since they are stopped by the community quarantine at their jobs.
1269  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What are you doing now? on: April 02, 2020, 01:59:39 PM
I cant afford on playing gambling on daily basis since i dont have work at the moment due to lockdown. So ive been doing these stuffs
to kill out my boredom.

1.Clean my car
2.Cleaning the house and surroundings
3.Spend more time with my family
4.A mix of console games
5.Cooking
6.Sleeping all afternoon

Rinse and repeat.  Smiley

I am so jealous of those people that can play online here or even have those console games in their houses. I am just using my low-end laptop and I can't even play a single game here so I just usually watch streams and long gameplays. I am saving for other things and a PC or a gaming console is not really one of them, I hope I can get one soon.
1270  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Gender in blockchain. on: April 01, 2020, 11:47:02 PM
You will find much more women in other areas, such as health for example, where you can find a lot of woman who are nurse, physicians, etc.

To be exact, most of the women can be found in the areas of services. They are good at communicating, helping, and other kinds of stuff that usually are into servicing other people. One of those are in the profession of teaching, health workers, and nurses as you said. Well, they are good at giving those to the opposite sex too, not just in a sexual way.
1271  Economy / Economics / Re: How long this crisis will be? on: April 01, 2020, 10:23:52 PM
Unlike the old days, we our medical approach and technology is more advanced. Let's just hope that  the news that there is already a cure for Covid is real and that countries who were able to create one will lend a hand to other countries without putting money first.

China just did right? They sold a lot of test kits to Spain and as expected, a lot of those test kits are faulty. It is not a cure but it is a good reaction based on the numbers being shown by WHO. China has the highest recovery rate in the world right now and obviously, they ould really approach the country for that. Despite the technology being more advanced, we can't really fight a virus that easily especially with people not following policies about this.
1272  Economy / Economics / Re: Chinese Strategy? on: April 01, 2020, 03:56:19 PM
I think is China strategy where make Corona virus and ready with thousand medicine and take hospital with short time, how ever impossible have country make hospital just few day, I think they have planning before corona virus make by them and waiting when is the best time to announce for public.

It's been discussed that the plan of this hospital is based or modeled on the blueprints of a medical facility which was set up in Beijing in 2003 to help tackle the SARS epidemic so it is not really impossible. Another thing is that coronavirus is already a virus that is known and CoVid - 19 is just one of those viruses.
1273  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What will the gambling addicts do now that the casinos have closed? on: April 01, 2020, 03:03:58 PM
It depends on the country of the gambler if they on lock down they have no way but to play cards with their family but of course there is no money involved, or they have an option to play online but at this point of times where we are in a big crisis we should spend more time with our family or get updates on what's happening around the globe and check the latest developments.

I think most of us will be thinking that gamblers will be finding alternatives to bet or gamble but I don't think they are really gambling right now unless they are doing it online even before the quarantine. I think most of those gamblers that do it in a casino are not actually gambling now but just staying at their homes being bored to death.
1274  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What are you doing now? on: April 01, 2020, 02:24:58 PM
Switched to eSports betting recently and learning it.

Just like sports, if you know the game, then you will be able to make predictions and it is a matter of time to be able to know the team better since you will be betting on them. Right now, CSGO and Dota 2 have an online tournament which is the ESL Pro League 11(CSGO) and ESL One Los Angeles that is supposed to be done LAN and now happening online.
1275  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What are you doing now? on: March 31, 2020, 02:41:08 PM
In my country Philippines they have qurantine but not lockdown I feel boring since last 2 weeks ago started this but when I haave extra money I play online gambling to not feel what we are in the crisis right now and to happy my self too. Many people for sure are are really bored so that I recommended playing gamblinh with minimizing using your money is the best .

I don't really recommend people to gamble right now since with the current lockdown that is happening, it is better to prioritize yourself, your family to the needs they needed for a long time of quarantine. I am also from from the Philippines and I know that we can't really get out of houses unless it is something important. We are having a hard time stocking essentials like food but we can manage since there are those people that are ready to help. Though if people really wanted to gamble, it is their decision.
1276  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Now is a good time on: March 29, 2020, 11:42:13 PM
Who know when is good time , just few people know when is the right time to buy. I think we are in bullish and next years when covid19 will be be over it will also be a good time to buy crypto.

Well, there are a lot of people that knows when to buy. The fact that the price recovered from $4K to $6K in just days is the reason why we can say that people actually know when to buy. And as long as the price is still continuing to decline, you might consider reinvesting again. What people don't know is when to sell their bitcoins since there will be a lot of speculation about it and usually we based it on indicators.
1277  Economy / Speculation / Re: Guys avoid panic sell... on: March 29, 2020, 05:40:15 PM
Your advise is timely but people who have limited fund for trading and up keep during this trying times will just panic sell off and hope to buy back at a much lower prices which may be a brutal decision because the cryptocurrency market may defy this global crisis and head north.

I don't think that people are actually panic selling right now. I do understand the fact that a lot of countries are affected by the pandemic these days but I don't think because of that they will be selling their bitcoins so easily. The price dumped because of the movement of the scammed bitcoin of Plustoken, and people might be selling but not really panic selling. They might use it to stock essentials for the quarantine.
1278  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to protect bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies from hackers. on: March 29, 2020, 04:31:48 PM
Stop entering every site, just use the only trusted sites to read, buy staffs/assets, and play games, don't open emails from unknown and time to time delete your spam  folder and not download the apps from  untrusted source, also escape  to store your keys and mnemonics phase online and if necessary just use only trusted cloud storage.

Before we even talk about entering sites, be aware of the links you are all clicking since this is the common start of phishing sites. You might think that it is the site you wanted to go but hackers nowadays are so tricky that even a single sign in a link could lead you to a trap. I remembered a streamer who talked about a hacker who hacked his computer, I think that is TimtheTatman. I know this is not crypto currency-related but if someone got control of your PC, just consider your bitcoin gone. Not a supporter of the content creator but I think you could learn something from that video since the hacker while controlling his PC, taught him something
1279  Economy / Economics / Re: What China is hiding from us and are they doing it to save their economy? on: March 29, 2020, 03:16:24 PM
As many people think coronavirus is created by China and they did to crush other economy but I don't think that's what they did but some information came to light that gives us some dought about China's action. as far as we know death in China is a total of 3800+ but is it a real number? Did they hide the real numbers to protect their economy? what those pictures tell us!

I don't understand most of that picture since it is Chinese but I am also starting to be curious how well the Chinese handled the situation in their country. If you will be looking at this list, you could see how China has a lot of people recovered from the virus. Despite them being the origin, the USA and Italy are now topping the list with the most cases. And then Spain buys medical equipment worth 432 million euros from China.
1280  Economy / Economics / Re: Will the government understand? on: March 29, 2020, 02:23:12 PM
Just like , we are able to transfer our education system , all online in a matter of days , why are they not doing the same for most of the offices ?

I don't know about the offices but for us teachers, I know one thing. We can't still fully adjust to the pandemic happening. We are in a province and there are three positives of the virus so classes will obviously be adjusted again. We can't fully do online classes since not all of the students have access to the internet. Another thing is that with the pandemic, books are in their schools so we are having a hard time pointing on what to do. Well, most of the activities are being done in their homes and luckily some students can go to those people that don't have access to the internet. Though there are still a lot of activities to be done, I told them that I would be giving them bonus points as long as they followed the quarantine policies in their places. I don't really push them to do the activities, I am more concerned with their health right now.
