1281  Economy / Economics / Re: returning to normal on: July 31, 2020, 10:07:24 PM
In my opinion, instead of saving the country and the economy by limiting the spread of the coronavirus, the US government entered into a confrontation with China, blaming each other for the origin of covid-19. the current situation has caused irreparable harm to the economy, because various strata of business have suffered and a significant part cannot even be restored. I believe that we are on the verge of a completely different world order, where the United States may lose its leading position. In addition, the statement of many scientists about the second wave of covid-19 suggests that we will not be able to return to a normal life for a long time.
We all know who is the real culprit behind the COVID-19 and that's the country that is aiming to be number one. I doubt that we will be going back to normal and this situation we are currently facing will last for a long time. The pandemic is not only the problem here, our country should also focus on the debts and how we will recover the economy. But if the scientist discover the solution to COVID-19, I guess that statement of them will definitely change.
1282  Economy / Economics / Re: Philippines will drop as a Country, Economy on its worst! on: July 31, 2020, 09:50:44 PM
This pandemic have brought up many job opportunities most specially through online that is pretty good to know but it does not and cannot hide the thing that the economy is struggling due to lots of debts that are unseen to be useful and supposedly to be used this pandemic.
-
I don't think that having debts is normal just because big countries are also having debts and their economy is struggling too. The point is, we can't prevent having debts if they implemented wise decisions and being competent like the neighboring countries, Singapore, Vietnam, and Brunei. I guess that an early travel ban would be an ace decision to avoid this struggle happening to us on this pandemic. If you really are living here in the Philippines, you knew that the time spent on the quarantine is just being wasted for lifting the quarantine without any changes in the statistics of COVID cases. You will also notice that there are unnecessary things that have implemented that aren't related to the pandemic, too much focus on power.

We already knew how COVID-19 is dangerous in early January, and as you can see, some countries already prevented the huge cases by performing a travel ban. It is obvious that sacrificing a few days is better than sacrificing a lot of months that will be resulted into waste.
1283  Economy / Economics / Re: Cash Is Trash on: July 31, 2020, 09:36:21 PM
The cashless society that is aiming by some people is still having holes and flaws so definitely you can't say harsh words to it. There are many things they should have to add to the system of cashless society before they fully implement and throw away cash.

Cash is still useful and it can be used in many things especially on those people who are leaving in the province and for those who still don't have internet. Even our technology develops every year, I bet that cash will still be useful.
1284  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Should there be any age limit of Gambling? on: July 31, 2020, 06:37:31 PM
age 21 may look more determined in making a decision. if a minor has gambled it will be very difficult for them to control their emotions, if they have become addicted it will have a negative impact on the mental health of the child.

The higher the age limit better it is but then government has 18 years of age limit in countries I know which is of legal tender age as per them. Also today with the internet age, there would be so many teenagers who would be into online gambling so much that age limit just exist for casinos and not for online gambling there is not minimum age as such.
Yeah, the only thing that should be done is the guidance from your relatives that you shouldn't gamble at an early age because it'll gonna destroy your life. They should be taught that gambling always has risk and you must have a lot of experiences and be wise and decision-making before entering this kind of activity. I guess 18 years old is enough, as long as they learn the value of money and how should they spent it wisely to survive.
1285  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: FreeBitcoin Bot - What do you think about this tool?? on: July 31, 2020, 06:15:56 PM
Perhaps, you are abusing the faucet (just kidding). I find this a great tool to save time, especially for the solid users of freebitcoin to acquire bitcoins from faucets since free bitcoins are only available every hour. To make it efficient, you can always turn on your pc to claim even if you are doing some other stuffs. And it was just like giving you an infinite amounts to play and test your luck.

On the other hand, I don't think the scripts for automated betting will be that good, because it will test how random freebitcoin's outcomes is. If so, there's no way you can win with 100% chance using bots.

-
-

As said, this Bot will not make you win. It will entirely depend on your strategy and luck.
This is not a hack, a roll predictor, or a script that changes anything on the page... it just plays with the page as a real user.

The idea of this bot is:
- To help users test strategies. For example those that search for patterns before betting. Think of it as a better solution than Autobet.
- To calculate bet amount based on current balance.
- To Bet HI or LO using different approaches.
- To be used as auto-claim. It will click on ROLL every hour and (if enabled) make use of the Reward Points to increase the satoshis earned per hour.
- To leave it betting automatically just to wager, and get bonuses, reward points and lottery tickets easily.

https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC2VBQbO-iQwzk9snf1aXZdw/videos

Please watch the videos to see how it works. You can even try it for free to get your own conclusions...
Yeah, good feature and the auto claim is really a cool thing, it will make our life easier since we don't need to manually collect it every hour. The lottery ticket is really a big thing, and even it's a low chance, we can still win money on it so it's good to use but my only concern about this if it will be safe to use.

Also, I guess some of the features is contrary to the terms and conditions of freebitco.in.
1286  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are there any successful and relatively new casinos? on: July 31, 2020, 05:26:13 PM
I am sure the casino can do that easily, and with the promotion that helps them get more and more players to keep visiting on their site, the casino will have the opportunity to make more money. That can make the gambler happy if they see that the casino offers bonuses if they deposit more money, and yes, the gamblers will use their time to play more rounds. The gamblers will have a high expectation to win the games because they use more money to try to win.
But the biggest problem casinos face is that the players who come to them for the interest of bonus are not going to be staying for long unless the casinos provides some unique games, below average house edge or they have some kind of promotion that works lifetime for example rake-back was a feature a lot of casinos used initially to retain their players but now even that doesn't attract players.

There are so many threads in the gambling section about various casinos but you can clearly separate apples from oranges and that's because they are just way ahead of the new casinos. Recently I heard betbit scammed so players hesitate to bet on a new casino too.
The only thing that will make the gamblers stay at a casino is the benefits so they will stay for longer. That's how popular casino is doing, they are constantly giving the users or gamblers a lot of benefits, that's why they're choosing to stay there. But it's kinda difficult because it's a hard competition, there are many casinos too that can also give those kinds of benefits.

So obviously, the peoples desire is the casino's priority so they can accumulate a lot of users to their platform.
1287  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: how to win at casino on: July 31, 2020, 05:03:08 PM

The OP wants to find a winning strategy and it doesn't ask about certain games or casinos. From this I conclude that the OP does not have any information on this topic and he is looking for ways to make money.
Here, the correct advice was given in relation to the fact that gambling regularly does not earn money.

By the way, you are right. In fact, there is no specific strategy on how to win at the casino. If the OP created a topic for a specific game, for example, Dice or Roulette or Slots, then probably he was prompted by several strategies with which he could work and understand how these games work. Therefore, his initial question a priori will not bring the answer he needs.
Yeah, gambling is very complex and there's no specific and precise strategy that can be used to win especially when you're playing probability gambling games like dice. But if he/she's playing poker and other gambling games that have complex mechanics, there are few strategies he can use like bluffing the enemy.

The only strategy we should deal in gambling is to have balance and don't get addicted to it because once you're in addiction, you already lose in life.
1288  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Esports Prediction & Discussion Thread on: July 31, 2020, 04:18:06 PM
I barely see any people talk about Valorant which is one of the mainstream game and most of the CS:GO players are already playing it.
<...>
the game still doesn't have a solid and well-known/well-organized competitive scene, this is obviously cuz it's been out for a few months. Give it a few more months, if its popularity remains the same or better yet it goes up, bookies will start offering more and more lines and esport bettors will begin to throw money at it and ppl will talk more about it
Even in the beta start of the Valorant, there are many tournaments that happened and even the first week of its launch, many popular fps players already have a team. Even here in Southeast Asia, there are many current CS:GO players that shifted to Valorant. It's true that the Valorant don't have any tournament that is so popular like Worlds or The International, but those tournaments are already enough for any betting sites. The important thing is, popular teams are already playing it and it's mainstream in different platforms.
1289  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is the best welcome offer for you? on: July 31, 2020, 02:38:15 PM
In my view, bonuses and complimentary are one of the ways to attract players but for me I would still check the authenticity and history of a casino.
Bonuses received through depositing and referrals would be good and giveaways to frequent players from time to time.
Definitely truth they give bonuses to the players so that player will play and stay to their gambling site.
They are also getting benefits but they need to spend huge money before they get a lot of player.
The others offer big bonuses but they are not legit because they have that before player depsosited money but can't withdraw.
Yeah, there's no totally free money on every platform and definitely you must use that money on that platform. There's also exchange on that free money but the only thing we enjoy on the platform is the benefits that make us stay longer. Some platforms give free money but in exchange for that, you must do KYC before receiving it.

There's upcoming FaZe Clan valorant invitational tournament and I wanted to know where you will place your bets?

Rooting for T1 or TSM!
1291  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Chess on Sports/eSports betting on: July 31, 2020, 11:52:32 AM
I think that one of the things that detracts from the popularity of chess among gamblers is that simply many do not see it as a game in which you could bet, the nature of many of the games in which you can bet includes a very important random factor or at least is not heavily reduced, but in the case of chess this factor has been reduced to the absolute minimum, so many do not consider very exciting the idea of betting on a chess match compared to the way they would do so for a soccer match.

Maybe not, probably the structure of the game as a mind game without too much action is the reason why it isn't a thing for gamblers. But believe it or not, there are some games of chess that are exciting. Betting in chess game is good when the game is Blitz, meaning, a 5-10 minutes game will drive the audience at excitement especially if the players are moving too fast, and their reaction to time pressure is visible.

But with casual games in about 1-2hrs, I don't think it would be good for betting. But with 2 players each game, betting in chess really fits as your chance of winning is 50%

I don't really get your last sentence... It is not because it is a match between 2 players that you have a winning chance of 50 %. The players maybe have a chance of winning of 50 %, not your bets.

But, you are right that the Blitz games are very exciting to watch, but are in my eyes, not the best matches to place bets on. Results of this kind of matches are quite unpredictable.
Agreed, in a standard match while there can always be a surprise the player that is on average better ranked should win more often than not, but in a blitz game this is not the case anymore as players keep the game confusing on purpose to try to catch their opponents off guard, so while in a  regular game a player may choose to simplify the position in a blitz game they know their best chance is to keep the game open to all kind of possibilities so the chances your opponent makes a mistake go higher and you can score a win.
True, even a strong opponent can be defeated on a blitz game since the game is a fast phase and we should think quickly. A blitz game is a battle of correct placements, and you shouldn't move any single blunder because if your move is considered as a blunder then the chance of you losing is very high.

That's why I think blitz is very suitable on any tournament that should have bettings.
1292  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Should there be any age limit of Gambling? on: July 31, 2020, 11:22:49 AM
There should be an age limit at least 18, most of the crypto casino there's always a confirmation if you are 18 or above when signing up to their website.
But we all know that anyone can confirm that they are 18 even though some are not and it's pretty dangerous since they might be addicted to it and won't stop playing.

ya.ya.yo!

There is no way to confirm the age of gambler on the gambling site unless the KYC is mandatory at the time of signup. You signup on the gambling site and submit your documents. The Site verifies those documents and issue you the password to login and play. No site does that because the main purpose of the gambling houses is to make money, no matter who is playing at their site.
I do agree, gambling sites are more focused on gathering more players than having a verification of what age their players are,

And as far as I know, gamblers in online is much preferred to play on gambling site without KYC, they find it less hassle and their identification is safe from the possibility of making it into public.

Same, I think those casino owners doesn't even think of the age of the players, all they care is their business growing. They just put the age requirements because it is needed, or the government requires them to. But nope, they don't really care. Specially when you are gambling online.

KYC is really a hassle for me too when I'm using crypto, so yeah I prefer gambling sites without one. I think its the same with other gamblers too.
Yeah, the only thing must be done here is a proper guidance from the parent. Since we are in the modern times now, we could easily inspect any things what childs are doing to prevent them on browsing some prohibited platforms. So the online casino doesn't really care about the age of their users, they just want the money and just thinking on how they will grow the business. Also, there are no KYC implemented on other gambling platforms and it's impossible to strictly prohibit those underage.
1293  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sports betting biggest winners. on: July 31, 2020, 08:12:07 AM
Such stories are very inspiring! But as you know, these are isolated cases in a million.

And you seem to understand that it is almost impossible to win such a large amount with a small bet, but this 1% inspires and you think, maybe this time it will be me?
Almost impossible doesn't mean people can not win that such a large amount because I think some people can win that much money with luck. It is only a matter of time for that lucky person to win a large amount with a small bet, and maybe we don't know when that person can win those games. We might not hear that news because I think some people will not feel okay if their winning is published to the public.
True, even there's a 1% chance of winning the game, you can still win a lot if there's complete luck on you. Those lucky persons are just few and you're definitely lucky and can win in life if you are one of those.
Such stories are very inspiring! But as you know, these are isolated cases in a million.
Yes, but if you keep trying, it you could be one of the lucky winners that will be listed in the history.  Smiley
Yeah right, but the possibility is really low. There is also a chance that the opposite might be the outcome.
Having faith on your bets is also a risk, there's no such winning without risking something. Even the possibilities and probability of winning is low, we always do risk and hoping we got luck to win it.
1294  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The Rise of Bitcoin on: July 31, 2020, 05:37:53 AM
To my knowledge, Bitcoin has crossed $10,000+  three times so far. So there is no end to the enthusiasm of bitcoin holders. Let Bitcoin rise above December 2017 This expectation remains all the time. Although its duration was much shorter, this time I hope everyone will have a longer duration of Bitcoin price increase.
Bitcoin price is not just crossed $10k, but it increased more than $11k, the price is still at $11k. It is a good sign for bitcoin to rise more than now, and I am sure that the price will break another high price sooner or later. But before we see another high price, we need to ready for the downtrend that can happen anytime, so we have a chance to buy bitcoin again.
Definitely the price will break and hoping that it'll reach $15k!

I have a mistake done recently, I early converted my BTC when it hits the $10k, now I'm gonna buy again and wait for it to reach the $15k. We are also hoping for another ATH, do you think that $20k+ is possible? For me, yes! We are still in the Q3 of 2020 and there are still many days for the bitcoin to surge its price.
1295  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why do hackers steal huge amounts of bitcoins? on: July 30, 2020, 11:57:05 PM
If you think about the actual stealing, why would they steal money on some pawnshop or banks if they will leave any pieces of evidence that will lead them into jail? Even though it's a very complex action, there are ways to be your stepping stone in these situations.

Definitely, there are other methods or 3rd party platforms that will help you to clean your traces. Hackers will not just hack, if they have the capability to hack a certain wallet then maybe they also have the intellect to use a mixer. Since people already mentioned it, try to read this article; Why hackers use bitcoin and why it is so difficult to trace?
1296  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do we need bitcoin? on: July 30, 2020, 11:48:20 PM
Quote
Do we (the world) need bitcoin?
Bitcoin is not really a necessity like the basic needs but it is a social need that address a particular problem in the world. The world needs Bitcoin to address a specific problem or gap in the financial ecosystem.  The financial ecosystem is really tired with the centralized system. People needs the financial freedom to make transactions without difficulties, and bitcoin and cryptocurrency brings that financial freedom.
Agree. People are looking into something that will defeat the centralized system on money because obviously it's being controlled by those who are in position. In a decentralized system, we are entitled and empowered to do such thing on the system freely and can even make a contribution to it. That's the main reason why we need bitcoin, because of its decentralized feature. And of course, we can easily transact everywhere with the use of internet and that's very interesting for those who are techy.
1297  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin might never reach it's ATH anymore on: July 30, 2020, 11:38:12 PM
There is a lesser chance that it could not hit iits all time high because we do not really know its capability when the demand for bitcoin could not be measured. All Time High could be determine only if all the its potential users invest to it and it will reach the maximum market price that can never be beaten. The 2017 ATH is not really the ATH for me because it can be easily beaten if all the potential users will going invest all in at the same period.
Since you've mentioned capability, so maybe there are still chances that bitcoin can still reach another ATH. Also, bitcoin price value have already surged again recently and reach the $11k mark, and I'm looking forward that this month, it can reach the $12k mark.

Bitcoin Statistic Hit A New High, BTC Surged 3.5x

Imagine if the bitcoin rallied again with a 250% uptrend that happened last year? Can we still say that it has a lesser chance for reach its new ATH?
1298  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why People Call Bitcoin Blockchain? on: July 30, 2020, 11:32:14 PM
I do believe that it's because where the blockchain is popular in finance and really fits well. The features of blockchain which is transparency and decentralization are those features that are looking by some money experts. Also, the fact that it created a peer to peer system that is a cashless world through blockchain, many people will surely get interested and that's the reason why blockchain is only mainstream on finance.

There are also innovations that have done in other applications like in the medical field but it's barely used and there are only few differences in the traditional way. Unlike on finance, the decentralization feature of the blockchain let the people attracted to it.
1299  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Gaming Industry and Cryptocurrency! on: July 25, 2020, 04:55:42 PM
I'm not so sure about cryptocurrencies and the gaming industry.
Why? The ability to earn cryptocurrencies while playing and pay the price immediately  would pull in new users  who have  an axe to grind with the games be it  RPG, strategies, racing or something else. For the game industry it would open the new monetization roads while for cryptos it would attract newcomers into the field.
Agree, and it's a good idea, imagine that you're just playing an RPG game and grinding to get BTC? In that part, people will adopt the use of cryptocurrency and they will be curious on how does cryptocurrency works. I hope that they create a game that has a lot of features like in the "Real Player One" movie and the prize is bitcoin. Definitely, there will be a lot of gamers will be interested in that, it's a win-win situation for the cryptocurrency and gaming community, many will like it.

It is possible! Are there no present games right now who has a prize of btc? Its just so interesting and I can't believe we don't have it right now? I just think it is already happening. Even me who seldom plays will try to learn that game for it. It will be a blast if the game is really a good one, a quality high graphics game which is enjoyable and on the level of esports game right now.

I just think players who didn't even use crypto will learn how to be in the industry because of it. I'm sure game developers can think of ways they can earn crypto too from their players. For example are items that can only be bought in crypto too.
Actually, there's a lot of games that reward BTC but those are just simple games. I'm also looking forward for game developers to make some gain that has interesting graphics, good mechanics, and lastly, rewards BTC. The gaming industry is also getting bigger, same with the cryptocurrency that many people also adopt the use of it so it's a good move if they made one.

Imagine that people will just play games and having fun with your friends will get you a BTC that can be used for your own good. It's cool tho.
1300  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Too dumb to undrstand on: July 25, 2020, 02:35:31 AM
Expect that KYC must be complete on some exchanges especially local wallets or exchanges so you can convert your BTC into your local currency.

There's plenty of exchanges that don't require KYC but have limited features like a limited amount of money to withdraw or deposit.

Also, take note that BTC is not anonymous, they can still trace your transactions and can see your balance in the blockchain. Like what @TravelMug said, it's pseudonymous, not anonymous.
